Hi all,

I am going to be back on the board as much as i can, mainly in the evenings. I have been watching Wrestling and i am excited for it and also for Wrestlemania

Anyway to keep this post Wrestling based so i don't get in trouble - I would like to first of all say that i have listened to the V2 Journal Podcasts and i think they are amazing and i have thoroughly enjoyed them so thank you.

My Wrestling question is and i know it has probably been asked before but what is your favourite Return and or Debut?

My fav return was when Randy Savage asked Mr Perfect to come out of retirement to team with him against Flair and Razor Ramon at Survivor Series 92!

My favourite return was the undertaker at judgement day, it was when my wrestling interest was at its highest and I had no clue about backstage gossip or rumours. The rock, HHH iron man match with HBK as special ref was in full flow, the children's voices hit, everyone stopped and then taker appeared on his bike. Cleared house of DX getting rock DQ'd for the final fall and costing him the match.

I was honestly shocked by his return and the fall out, don't think a wrestling return has had the same impact on me since

Probably for me between The Rock returning on two occasions. first was i think around 2002/3 when vince was in the ring and was talking to an official and said 'the he you were talking about is not stone cold steve austin, then, who the hell is the he you were talking about??!!'

Second was obviously his return on raw to be the host of mania. Genuinely did not expect it at all.

Punk returning with the cult of personality debut, great moment and stare down with Cena, Punk getting more of a pop when lifting his belt than Cena and Cena having to leave the ring with Punk holding the true championship above his head and the crowd cheering.

Finally Lesnar's return, what a pop, sort of knew it was coming but the build up to it just gave me goosebumps, then when his music hit omfg mark out or what.

AH yes i remember the judgement day return, i actually knew it would be the undertaker, as the 3 creepyh girls saying his here im scared, gave me the exact same chill, as the ministry undertaker used to, and to my embarassement i still remember staying up at ma uncles house to watch it, and just before he returned i hid myself under the blanket i was that scared although when he did return as a bad ass i was thinking what the hell is this, didint like it but warmed to it in the end.

But myt favourite would have to be Jericho at this years rumble as i had no idea and when he came out it really was an OMG moment, first time id marked out to anything in wwe since being a kid

My fave return was HHHs at the Rumble, never saw that coming.

Favourite returns: WORYAH! at Wrestlemania 8, WORYAH! at Wrestlemania 12, the Undertaker at Judgement Day 2000, John Cena at Royal Rumble 2008, the Rock in the run up to Wrestlemania 27, CM Punk on RAW a couple of weeks after MITB 2011 and Brock Lesnar the night after Wrestlemania 28.


Favourite debuts: The Undertaker at Survivor Series 1990, Kane at Badd Blood in 1997, Chris Jericho's WWE debut on RAW in 1999, Taz at Royal Rumble 2000, Eric Bischoff on RAW in 2002, Goldberg's WWE debut on RAW in 2003, the Nexus on RAW in 2010 and the Shield at Survivor Series 2012.
