Boxing Bets Empty Boxing Bets

Post by BorrisTheBlade Sat 30 Mar 2013, 7:10 pm

Gents,

A few crackers for fights coming up in the next few months. I was just wondering if anyone had any single bets or accumulators on or in the pipe line. I'm eyeing up a few fights as I type including a few that are taking place on the matchroom and top rank card tonight.

So far on my slip I have,

D Matthews outright
Bellew outright
Rios ko/tko
Froch outright

Over to you.....

The last one was Marquez to stop Pacquiao..I do it a few times a year on boxing..so I don't see what your problem is..

My problem is I'd be broke in a heart beat. But if you can kick butt then good for you.

Me I'd only bet on my team to lose. So If they did I'd feel a little better about it....and If they didn't it was money well spent!!!!!!!

I make reasonably small bets of usually between 10 and 20 a fight. Was 200 up last year. Good enough for moi

boxing and some times horse racing are the only 2 sports i ever win any money of. boxing is easy money mostly, but i never go with acculators, to many different factors can let you down.

the problem with boxing betting is its hard to make any money as most of the fights have are 1/7 or 1/8 favourite at least. however bookies sometimes amaze me with there odds, i got something like 5/6 for matteysse to win over mike dallas jr, worth $60 of anybodies money. crolla was the under dog with the bookies last night, as was bellew so good odds are out there.

i think the best odds i can remember recently was the martinez vs chavez jr, was about even if a remember lightly.

I did a double on Crolla and Bellew which fell through (-£10)

and then done a single on Alvarado on points (+£35)

so not a bad night..

Eddyfightfan...Matthews and Bellew were both odds on favourite in the UK..

Im looking at dropping a few quid on peterson and froch next (both singles)

yeah i said crolla was the under dog, although most inside boxing circles expected crolla to win.

what odds where bellew? when i saw it just before the fight he was slight underdog a 6/5 i think?

i also noticed that kell brook is 11/8 to beat alexander, as is kessler to beat froch again and trout is 2/1 against alvarez, all those odds seem very decent to me.

TRUSSMAN66 i give up with you...

I think Brook is a 50/50..i think i might do a 'either fighter to win on points'

I have full confidence in Froch although I can't imagine him getting a home town decision..as we saw yesterday with Bellew..Froch will have to win convincingly..

Peterson is a 3/1 bet against Mathysse..and has more then a punchers chance to win so i'l be backing him for sure..

I think Froch has too much for Kessler....Though his age is a worry..

Kessler perhaps too one dimensional though.

i agree froch can do it, but on paper he has already losted a decision to him, and kesslers jaw is almost as good as frochs, so on paper he should go in as favourite in my eyes

betting against matteysse is mental, in my opinion.
