12 year old tees it up in Tour event

China's Guan Tianlang, who amazed the sporting world when he made the cut at the Masters aged just 14, will see his record as the European Tour's youngest player is going to be broken by a boy aged only 12.

"In two weeks, Ye Wocheng, a precocious pre-teen from the country's south, will lower Guan's record to scarcely believable territory when he tees off at the Volvo China Open,"

What do you guys think?

I was trying to think of reasons he shouldn't play but I couldn't get beyond the first option in the end.

I think it is dangerous enough to expose youngsters to the adult world(Macauley Culkin anyone) but from a purely golfing perspective if he is good enough, let him go and hope his family/advisors are savvy enough.

Is this the boy who said " I have dreamt of this since I was a young boy"?

If he's good enough he's old enough, but is he old enough to know (and understand) the rules??

Tiger doesn't seem to and he's got 14 majors!
