Hard to see past that big, bruising Treviso pack at home- with the sizable figures of Pavanello and Vosawai to come off the bench too. Will be a difficult assignment for Connacht.

Re: Only game of the Weekend.
To be fair to most fans its not an important game, but to Connacht this could decde how they think about thier season.
Win and they go 8th above Cardiff Blues. With a chance of overtaking Treviso to finish on a best of 7th.
Ulster V Blues
Scarlets V Treviso
Connacht V Glasgow
For Blues Connacht and Treviso this game could have a big say on how they rate thier season.
Next week I'd say Glasgow will have a very tough game, Connacht will be wanting to send Elwood of on a high, and its his last game and its at home.
If Treviso win they have a chance of overtaking Munster, however given Munsters last game is against Zebre, its unlikley.
Battle for 7th spot, or best of the rest depends a lot on this game.

Re: Only game of the Weekend.
Eoin Griffin, who picked up a knock during the last outing, has been ruled out of action this Friday night. This season’s top try scorer Danie Poolman takes up the position at outside centre while 24-year-old Matt Healy is named on the right wing. The Lansdowne back came on from the bench during last weekend’s defeat to league leaders Ulster.
Is Matt Healy any good or just there to make up numbers sort of player?
intresting having O’Halloran on the bench.

Re: Only game of the Weekend.
To be honest, this is actually a 'something' game, as it will effectively decide who is the "winner" of the bottom half of the competition.
If Treviso will, there are pretty much set for 7th and if Connacht win, they'll take it to the final weekend.
The you have Munster in 6th and then gap to the top 5, with Scarlets in prime position to secure the 4th spot over Ospreys and the top 3 looking for the home match.
Roll on round 22.
Good luck Connacht!

Have to disagree, the Blues season has been rated...
Smashed in the HC, hammered in the league, very few performances of note, and even less quality on the pitch...
But we're home so SUCCESS!!!

Good result for Connacht, getting anything in Italy against Treviso is a good result this season.

Sounds like it was a good competitive game and a surprise too as i honestly expected Treviso to win pretty comfortably.

Re: Only game of the Weekend.
Trevisos tries came from charging a Dan Parks kick down and a penalty try from a scrum.
