Is this a good or bad idea?

Hull owner Assem Allam wants to transform the KC Stadium into a £100m sports village.
He has revealed plans to build a complex, which would include a hotel, tennis, squash, gymnastics facilities and Olympic-size swimming pool, around the club’s current ground or at the back of a new 40,000- capacity stadium at Melton.
Allam, who would first have to buy the KC Stadium off Hull City Council, said: “I want to do this for the community. The idea behind the sports village is that it will become a day out for the whole family.”
What are your views on developing the area around the KC Stadium/moving to a new stadium?
