Tyson Fury Empty Tyson Fury

Post by winchester Fri 10 May 2013, 11:18 pm

Just watched Tyson Furys last fight on Eurosport there again. Great match. I dont know how anyone can say Fury doesnt bully opponents. He completely bullied his opponent and knocked him out. Other than the knockdown it was a commanding performance. I really think he has the beating of either of the Klitschko pair and is a world champion in the making. When he got caught and knocked down he got back up and won proving he can take a punch and he has plenty of heart. That shot would have knocked out many heavyweights including the glass jawed Wladimir Klitschko. The division could really liven up with Fury, Price, Wilder and the Klitschko brothers squaring off. If the Klitschko brothers avoid Fury, Price or Wilder then Id like to see Fury v Haye and Price v Wilder next.

Fury vs Haye would be a short, short fight. Haye punches MUCH harder than Cunningham and the reason Fury was decked by Cunningham's shot was because of his rubbish defence. Yes it may have knocked down a few heavies IF it connected, but most half-decent boxers have some form of defence. Fury carries his left hand low, leaving him open to the overhand right. He doesn't have the speed or reflexes to get out of the way.

Bullying his opponent then knocking him out is definitely the glass is half full perspective. The other one is he was outboxed and made to look ponderous against a career cruiserweight who also had him down.
I do like Fury and think the rubbish he speaks adds a bit of humour to a dull division but he's an accident waiting to happen. Haye would wipe him out whenever he wanted to and so would Wlad.
As Haye said last week, Wlad carries opponents so that the German tv get a few adverts in but, depending on how much Fury winds him up in the build up, it'll all be over when that Klitscho straight right lands.

Fury gets ruined by the first puncher he comes up against

Cunnigham is a light hitting Cruiserweight who was outweighed by over 2 stone, yet he almost payed him out and was smacking Fury around the ring before Fury's size wore him down

A fat Chisora had him rocked down to his boots in the second despite being 260+lbs and grossly out of shape, and a fit Chisora isn't a big puncher anyway

Pajkic is a powder puff puncher and knocked him down with a single fight

Are you a WUM?

He had a pint deducted, was knocked clean on his arse by a cruiser weight, had lost all the rounds and knocked him out by forearming Cunningham in the face with his left arm before closing the show with his left (ie.illegal).

Tyson Fury is a complete hype job and only WUM say otherwise.

If the Klitshcko brothers "avoid" him? Seriously?

Fury vs Haye would absolutely never happen because Tyson Fury would be knocked cold with the first jab Haye throws in his face.

Why would Hennessey risk losing his prize asset

Standby for continuous bums appearing in the ring with Tyson over the next 12 months, as it has been so far.

Big Mick and Team Fury will just hype it up so people like you believe.

For example - Kingpin Johnson is the best Heavyweight in America

Clearly, yes. Hence this utter tripe clogging up the board again.

Price is in the process of rebuilding his career. Wilder has fought nobody at world level.

Tyson fury is average in my view. He has a weak chin, a weak defence but he is big and strong and has won his fights due to being bigger. However what will happen when he fights someone who is over 6ft 5?

Would Fury stand a chane against the Klitschko, Price, Wilder or stirvene?

I would make Fury favourite over Price. They both seem to be chinny, but Price more so and at least Fury has got into the habit of climbing off the canvas to win. It seems az was right censored but it could go either way.

Wilder has fought nobody, I dont see why you would say Fury hasnt got a chance against him. I will wait and see how Wilder deals with Chisora before coming to a conclusion there. Wilder looks so open when he fights, I can imagine Fury getting to him.

K brothers and Haye would annihilate him, no shame in that. I would make Stiverne favourite, but again I dont see how you can say he would have no chance.

In regards to Fury-Price, its whoever lands a clean shot first wins

Both are chinny, price more-so than fury, but Price makes up for his weaker chin with a bigger punch

You don't need a big punch to flatten price. A slap from Ian Napa would do it.

I still have hope in Price az even if you have given up on him. Ok his chin is questionable but he still retains huge power and ability to be a real threat at heavyweight. He does need to work on his offence tho which is a bit ploddish for a man of his build and reach but if he is determined enough to improve I still see the furure heavyweight champion.

Plus he is a nice guy.

I never said he stands no chance I was asking if he stood a chance.

Wilder has fought low opposition but I think the fact he is 6ft 8 and a mega puncher means that he would beat Fury. Fury seems to get caught and go down against weak punchers so imagine what would happen v Wilder.

to be fair that was only Wilder's 11th fight and it was 3 years ago so a lot has changed.

I think Wilder v Chisora will say a lot about Wilder. I am a big fan of Chisora and will be supporting Chisora but I think it will be a great fight.

Price was knocked out by Thompson who has only lost twic to Klitshcko in the last few years.

Tha was a HUGE step up in class whether he's 41 or not.

Fury has been decked by light punchers such as Prajkic at Heavyweight and was also sparked on his arse by a cruiser weight with no power at that weight let alone Heavy.
Chisora wobbled him early on in round 2 and hat he not been played like a fiddle for 6 months and had he been in shape, he would have battered Fury.

I'm sorry, but price has technical skills and a good jab etc. Fury has non existing footwork, no chin and no real anything except heart.

That can only get you so far.

Yes he is exciting, but for the wrong reasons in my eyes.

People tune in to watch him get knocked out due to his urine poor attitude outside the ring, and his absolutely shocking antics inside it!! (singing, Ali shuffles and self-uppercuts).

The guy is laughable and I have no idea why some rate him so highly.

IF he had blasted his opponents out with no troubles and looked good in doing so, then fair enough.

So far I have seen absolutely nothing from him apart from embarrassment.
