I was surprised to see Wilson in the squad as he played a 50 over international in Ireland yesterday. Someone on the Wallpaper site believes his named inclusion is a mistake by the Club. We'll soon see.

This should at least be a game to get another win under our belts. Big trouble if not ....

Don't think it will be a mistake as Murtagh and Stirling have also been included by Middx for their match today... must have been a rush back to the airport for some of them!

Fair enough, Shelsey. Are you actually reporting on the Middlesex game today from the ground at Radlett? That should be a good match.

Strange start (as at the 7th over) - what did Solanki have for breakfast?!

The batting looks horribly weak with Jewell at 6 so need the top order to do lots of work - 100/1 in the 17th over at the moment so going nicely.

A much needed win but hardly a great morale booster.

Following on from Goochie's post, concerning that such an experienced attack conceded 89 runs off the last 9 overs when Scotland were already 6 down.

Also disappointing that Jewell wasn't trusted with even one over.

Credit to Solanki and Davies for a ton and a fifty but still feel we fell short of the total we should have been after. The Brain has to take a lot of blame for that - taking 35 balls for 11 runs is unacceptable.

Triumphant victory over Scotland....
