Top ROH Star Signs New Contract

Ring of Honor has announced that former ROH TV Champion Adam Cole has signed a new contract with the company.

As previously reported, Adam Cole was one of the top indy talents invited to take part in a WWE tryout camp several months ago. Obviously, that led to a lot of speculation on his ROH future. This now finally puts that speculation to rest.

"Resigning with Ring of Honor is exciting for me on many levels. Getting to continue my journey in the best wrestling company in the world has my motivation and drive at an all time high. If you want to be the best, you prove it in Ring of Honor. And that's exactly what I plan on doing."

Very pleasing news for me personally, as some of you know he's for me the best independent talent out there! If this means he gets to stick around for the next 12-18 months then he can legitimately have a shot of capturing the ROH World Championship and have a fairly decent long reign as champion instead of the rushed title reign angle.
