This was a great little twist and a good way to make Aries relevant again. I think he will go on to win the title. That way, they can do Bully Ray vs Hogan without the title involved. :S Also sets up a possible dream match between Aries and Styles if he wins the BFG series.

Oft do I criticise TNA but I liked this move and it is why I claimed on the podcast that the x-division champ could win the belt.

Well this was a major waste of time by TNA

My only criticism is why do it on a week where it was taped in advance? Kind of ruins the surprise easily. Good way of keeping the champion busy otherwise and it doesnt do too much damage to those in the X Division because they have been screwed out of their belt and also dont need to have Sabin on a Poopie program with Bully Ray for a few weeks.

I agree with you in one respect Chris, why do it on a tapped show but by all accounts impact got higher ratings than normal so go figure?
