Surprised how many people think Villa will win this weekend, they beat a very poor Arsenal team last week needing two penalties to do so, while Liverpool created numerous chances and on another day would have scored 4 or 5.

I'm sure I will be wrong though.

Villa beat a decent Arsenal team who didn't play that badly, Liverpool laboured to a close win over a poor Stoke team. At least, that's how I saw both games.

Think laboured is a very poor term Azzy, Begovic had a superb game and without him the score could have been very one sided.

Azzy - What game were you watching!? Laboured? Begovic was outstanding making at least 3 very very good saves. Liverpool has 26 attempts at goal with 11 on target as well as 12 corners...

Villa beat an Arsenal team who were pretty woeful in the 2nd half and lacked imagination and a cutting edge in the final 3rd (much like most of last year) ..16 shots...only 4 on target.

Obviously stats don't tell the full story...but in this case they go a long way...the rest of it is told if one goes and watches the games. Arsenal were ripe for the taking last weekend...simple as that!

Lets see how Villa fair at home, a place where they only picked up 5 wins last season...against a team who outside of the top 5 had the most away wins in the league.
