Had it 118-111 to Floyd.

Gave Floyd 9 rounds, 2 to Canelo and 1 even.

Canelo looked completely disheartened at times and clueless what to do.

Thought Canelo would go for broke in the last 3 rounds but easier said than done against Floyd.

Floyd won every round. Couldn't even give Alvarez a share of one, which was a shame as like pretty much everybody i wanted him to win.

Men versus boys, though. Spoiled the occasion a bit, but in another way as a fight fan i just feel privileged to be watching true greatness. Don't like the guy, but he's the only currently-active fighter who a) transcends the sport, and b) is all time great material.

Genuinely thought Canelo could push him that bit more but Floyd honestly could have fought running, on the inside or in the pocket like he did and won. Think he might be the best boxer I have ever watched in action.

I still think Pacquiao could challenge him, he throws from a variety of angles and has the punch output which could impregnate Floyds defence (if the Marquez KO hasn't destroyed him, which is a strong possibility).

Other than that, there's no one. Khan has the hand speed but don't think he has the ring IQ to cause any damage.

Fair enough, You didnt miss much, the first fight and the third were brilliant - be sure to catch up on those, the second one (Molina) was worse than Calzaghe vs Hopkins being narrated by John Major and the Main event was interesting rather than exciting, largely because of the twits sheer display of skill. Kid Galahad fight was quite fun as well.

Floyd is like Jones used to be, worth watching as you have to admire the sheer skill and artistry but very few of his fights you would care to revisit as he is so far in front of the chasing pack. Will catch it at some point I am sure.

Agree with the skill comparison, although Floyd for me is superior in every dept barring power. Would probably also say he's fought a better level of fighter and against Canelo there were a lot of people picking the young Mexican.

But yes, seldom involved in humdingers (first Castillo fight was a cracker) but suppose we can't blame him for not wanting to get hit and has the skill set to do just that whilst returning fire etc.

I had 115-113 Mayweather, he was brilliant and deserved the victory. The commentary from the UK was awful cheerleading need to have a look at themselves.

Great fighter Floyd but awful to watch.

The kid was utterly outclassed by MILES! Mayweather was dominant from start to finish, and for me, nails him top 5 ATG without a shadow of a doubt.

CJ Ross is a disgrace, it's not the first time she's had a card like this but to have that fight a draw you had to be watching a different fight.

Floyd once again was fantastic and made Canelo look average and clumsy, doesn't look to be slowing down with age either.

It wasn't in any way close but Alverez did enough to win 3 close rounds in my view but like you say Mayweather could have won them all if he wanted. 117-111 for me. Not a shut out but still a completely comprehensive victory against an opponent who was greatly overmatched. Many people called this type of result and I was tempted to throw a lump on Floyd to win by decision at 2/1 on, should have done it and will definitely do it next time.


Somebody needs to have a word with Rawling or maybe Frank has told him to be flogging the bishop when Floyd is fighting. He doesn't want the Floyd fights going to Sky, neither do I by the way. Harry Carpenter had nothing on Rawling when it comes to bias.
