Adriaanse has had a big impact.
Lots of first up tackles missed by the Scarlets which is kind of concerning.

Still great win, Scarlets delivering once again when you expect them the least.

Good game and some great tries. Going to be hard for the Quins now. Scarlets have to somehow get out of the habit of switching off in the last 15-20 mins, after Jordan Williams try they should have been throwing the kitchen sink to get that WPB after that,

But got to be a fantastic start to the campaign for the West Walians though

Why?

Preistland was nailing 100%, why ruin Preistlands confidence when he hasn't missed for a couple of games now
Yeah i know but if i was Shingler i would asking myself why they don't give me the kicks at goal.
Think that's quite harsh on Priestland who played a big part in this win. Shingler needs to earn it having not spent long at all back in the Scarlets' fold. I wish him luck, competition can only be a good thing.

Scarlett's beat one of the worst teams in Europe. Hardly a great win.

Just caught the last 30 mins, but the Jordan Williams try was something else! Like Shane's try against RSA back a few years ago. The other tries were also great (from seeing the replays). Very close and entertaining game from what I could tell. Long live European rugby (in some shape or form)!!!

There's only one "t" in Scarlet, Trev. Unless you're talking about a plural of American civil war heroines.

The fact... you have Asperger's? Go on Trev - do yourself a favour, get out of your bedroom, go and make up with your mum and get yourself a hobby, mate.

Another great advert for the status quo in European rugby Whistle

Actually, I guess it wasn't because if it was the Top 6 of the Pro12 Scarlets would be in the tournament anyway. But the Pro12 sides in general are making their case.

I guess their being English champs the season before last was just an error on the part of the record-keepers.

Depending on which way you look at the argument. You choose as a pro Rabo fan to see it that the Pro12 wins support the case that they deserve to be there. A pro AP fan may argue that it just shows that not having to qualify ensures they are in tip top shape when they play in the competition as they don't have to go hammer and tongs every week to get there. Both arguments have merit, but perhaps we should just leave it there and enjoy the rugby for what it is. Very Happy

Well one argument doesn't have merit there, as would be obvious to anyone who watched the Pro12! But we'll save that for the appropriate threads.

I missed listening to the game on the radio so went to BBC online just after the game finished, and was delighted to find that the Scarlets had won.
The BBC showed a score summary which stated "Tries  -  Williams (3)".
Who's scored a hat-trick, I wondered - Rhodri, Scott or Jordan?
It turns out none of 'em - but a try apiece is just great!

Excellent win for Scarlets. Very disappointed by how a number of English teams are performing at present. The only team that looks well coached and in form is Sale.

So frustrating how we showed we could play well with the tempo up short the last it of the match but were so spineless in defence, bereft of power and idea less for the rest of the Matvh despite dominating possession. Only real highlight was a bit of exposure for the youngest players and Mike Brown. Again. Well won Scarlets, thoroughly deserved that

This Trevor bloke is a multi-accounted WUM that you simply have to ignore. Of course they're not a terrible side, they are however in terrible form.  At present 7th in the Premiership and outside Heineken qualification as is.

maj,

Despite their loss tonight Biggar has been in good form to, I would start with Dan as he has the shirt at the mo but with the likely hood of a Scarlets centre pairing Rhys could get nod.

Well done Scarlets, another great start to the HEC, let's hope you can keep the ball rolling in the tough games ahead.

Great work by the backrow. Brilliant to see them click so well at the breakdown.

Very skilled backline today too, really good game.

Not sure how good Scarlets were yesterday as the opposition, full back excepted, were poor. But after last season that is light years better.

Why can't we play like that every fecking game. Work at scrum time and in the rucks was absolutely amazing, great pressure.
Absolutely amazing, Turnball made my blood boil at points though. He had a good game don't get me wrong but when your making mistakes from a scrum going forward. If we can just get a 8 pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease God for christ sake help us out like.
