All the best to Shelley for her attempt today to take a maiden World Cup win with a good position in the women's skeleton in Turin. I gather she has been suffering from a virus, but has decided to give it a go; this is going to be a tough day for her.

Shelley Rudman Empty Follow up

Unfortuantely Shelley could only manage 7th (still pretty impresive with a virus?) so didn't get to take the title, which went to the very consistent Anja Huber; however she did defend the silver medal position and 2 other Brits finished in the top 10. Better luck next time.
