We have another fantastic guest on this weeks podcast. We have former 2 time British Champion, European Champion and four time world title challenger, Ryan Rhodes on the show. Please post your questions for Ryan in here and we'll do our best to ask them.

Aged 20 years, he defeated another Sheffield boxer Paul "Silky" Jones with a technical knock out in the eighth round to become the youngest post-war holder of the British title. He went on to win the belt outright in a record time of 90 days with wins over Peter Waudby and Del Bryan.

On 13 December 1997, Rhodes stepped up a weight division to middleweight to challenge the American Otis Grant for the vacant WBO title but was defeated by a unanimous decision.

On 18 April 2008, Rhodes knocked out Gary Woolcombe 37 seconds into the 9th round to regain the British light middleweight title, 11 years after he first won it. He defended his title for the first time as the main event on the Hayemaker Promotions boxing show in Sheffield. His opponent was Jamie Coyle, whom he defeated by a unanimous decision.

Since then he has defeated Vincent Vuma of South Africa to win the WBC International light middleweight title and in doing so obtained a ranking in the top ten in the world.

Rhodes was due to defend his British light middleweight title against the Londoner Anthony Small at the Echo Arena in Liverpool on 28 March 2008, but withdrew because of an illness during his training camp.

He defeated Jamie Moore in the seventh round of their European title fight on 23 October 2009. He defended the title again on 21 May 2010 at home against the Italian Luca Messi, with a technical knock out in the sixth round.

Rhodes lost his WBC light middleweight challenge bout against Saúl Álvarez with a technical knockout in the twelfth round on 18 June 2011 in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Rhodes announced his retirement from professional boxing on 4 September 2012.

Evening Paul. Must have missed this one.

Is there any fights you felt you missed out on in your career for one reason or another?

What involvement in boxing do you have now?

What fight first made you pick up the gloves?

If you could have had a rematch against any of the fighters on your record who would it have been?

Who is your star of tomorrow at your weight?

Did you have any doubt's in your career?

Cheers!

Just one more.......

Can you describe your experience of fighting Alvarez in Mexico, how intimidating were the crowd?

I was in LA for that fight so got to watch it at a decent time.

I think it'd be interesting to ask if Ryan looks back and regrets stepping up to Middleweight (in essence fast-tracking his road to a world title shot). He looked a can't-miss prospect at 154 but jumped up to Middleweight, which didn't really work out for him. Years later, when he returned to Light-Middle, his form picked up straight away and he had some of his best wins / performances, which culminated in his shot at Alvarez. Be interesting to see if he agrees with those who say he should have stayed at the lower weight all along.

Which was your favourite win?

What was your worst moment out of losing your "0" to Otis Grant or being pancaked by Jason Matthews?
