V2 Magazine Needs You - Boxing Awards (Fight Of The Year)

Hi to all our V2'ers,

As you may, or may not, know...we are at this moment in time working hard to bring yet another new addition to our 606v2 name. In January 2014 we will be launching the first of our monthly e-magazine's. This magazine will cover various sport's and due to the overwhelming interest in the boxing section, this will be one of the main sports covered. Myself, Paul & various others will be doing our best to ensure a magazine packed with content which you can all enjoy; as such we would like you to be not just a reader but also part of the magazine. After all, without you guys these things don't happen.

So with that being said, let me introduce to you one of our main features for the very first edition...'The V2 Boxing Awards'.

We all know that those at Ring Magazine and various other media formats are incapable of being partial when it comes to celebrating the best that boxing has to offer; so here is your chance to influence our very own awards and ensure that they go to the people most deserving.

Over the coming day's I will be posting various awards which will be up for grabs. I would like to invite all of you to have your say on these awards and help build a shortlist for our winner to be decided from.

We will kick things off today with the 'Fight of The Year' award:

Garcia Matthyse - excellent fight

Jones vs Lebedev was a good fight, both men just walked forward throwing punches.

A great UK one was (unexpectedly) Smith-Dodson 2, very very good action

Bradley-Provodnikov for me, with honourable mentions to Maidana-Lopez, Jones-Lebedev and Froch-Groves.

You gotta narrow it down a bit mate, which ones?

Not sure. Maybe those ones you took that time in Didsbury when that big American fella with the cleavage nutted you?

Nutted me? What you heard? Man couldn't handle his ale and picked a fight some invisible threat seen only to himself, swung at thin air nutted the floor if anything, startling each of the inbred dogs I was in didsbury to collect.

Luckily his homosexual lover wife was a broad shouldered, burly lass, with the hands of a farm hand with good genes and could just about carry him home. My 5th birthday was excellent.
