Our lord Jesus came to me in a dream, and told me about it. That, and I used to use 606 and migrated over through word-of-mouth on there.

I joined after comments on the 'old' 606, I also joined a couple of other alternative sites but haven't even logged on to them for months.

Like most of the above, I joined after seeing the comments on 606. However, unlike Union Cane, 606v2 was the only site I signed up to. Since then I've never looked back OK

Yep I found this site through 606 comments, I must say I wasn't convinced at first by this site but once I've used it for a few days I feel its up there with and maybe better than 606

I heard about it on 606 as soon as 606 announced it was closing.
I joined within minutes of v2 being launched and am loving every second of being on here.

I was a long time member at the old BBC boxing forums, and when we heard that the axe was to fall there were no ' European ' time zone sites which appealed to me so I figured that ' that was it.'

With that, Hero appeared with a poll question on the boxing forum and, checking his posting history, I found out that he was a wrestling fan and immediately thought he was on the wind up. I promptly replied to his thread with a terse comment and, to his everlasting credit, he remained calm, polite and continued to plug 606v2. Many of us were impressed by his campaign and by follow ups from Hobo and, one by one, our boxing lot began to talk about the new site and migrate over. I wasn't far behind them.

I'm very glad I made the move. This place knocks spots off the Beeb, as far as I am concerned.

Hobo - I heard from your good self and joined from day one sir. Very happy here, I think the software is far more user-friendly than the BBC 606 format. Ohh and there are far fewer d1ck-heads on this forum too Yahoo
