This is the place to release your unwanted players for cash.

Compensation for releases

£8m for a 2011/2012/2013 All Pro first team

£5m for an All Pro first teamer prior to 2011

£3m for a Pro Bowler

£1m for any other player

I think, but could be wrong, that it doesn't include anyone who didn't make the original 53. Once you've gotten down to 53 then I believe releasing players counts for money.

Ok - FA works like this:

You can sign any player that has been released, any time, and any amount of said players. They cost the price that they were released for - so James Harrison would be £5m for example.

However, when you release a player you get half of the value that you picked them up for if you got them from releases. So if you fell out of love with James Harrison then he'd be able to be released for a fee of £2.5m.

The cycle repeats ad nauseum.

Ok, let's see how this works. I would like to pick up Travis Kelce (TE, Kansas City Chiefs) and Quanterus Smith (DE, Denver Broncos) who didn't make their respective rosters. So they're free, right?

Reckon Kelce and Smith would be classed as foreigns, as they were never in the league to start with..

Yeah they were preseason cuts so they are free agents (foreigns) and not releases. No value was given to the owner of them.

I quite like Osweiler. Tall is an understatement and he has a big arm. Hopefully he'll have learned from Peyton Manning and worked on his accuracy and footwork.
