Match Preview:

Newport Gwent Dragons only victory in their last five RaboDirect PRO12 matches came at home to Cardiff Blues on Boxing Day.

The Dragons have lost only twice at Rodney Parade in the PRO12 since last March, both against Irish Provinces - Leinster and Munster.
Glasgow Warriors' 27-20 victory at Cardiff on Saturday set a new record for successive away victories in the tournament - seven.

The Warriors have lost only one of their last eight visits to Wales in the PRO12: 6-29 at the Scarlets in April 2013.

Dragons were victorious 23-8 when they visited Scotstoun in round 8 but have not achieved a season's double over the Scotsmen since season 2006/07.

The Warriors are unbeaten in their last three visits to Rodney Parade in all tournaments.

Is he any good?

Well Douglas is old enough to be a first-person witness to the creation of the universe (sorry As...), but he had more Scotland caps than anyone in the Glasgow team!

34 isn't that old for a prop.

I always liked Douglas when he propped for Scotland, felt reassured. Not the most destructive of scrummagers but can't remember him ever being taken apart by the opposition in the scrum? Handy in the loose or was at least back in the day.

AWJ not playing so Coombs will be on the bench. So probably won't be playing Sunday.

Sadly we won't be able to witness it as no bbc alba

Schiz - you should know by now that I always try and match the team representatives. It's a battle of the luvvies this week - Michael Sheen (born in Newport) v John Barrowman (born in Glasgow and if you ever see him speaking with his parents - it's on YouTube - he has a broad Scots accent, believe it or not).

Aye, Michael Sheen is one hell of an actor - he was great on Frost/Nixon, but he was simply outstanding in The Damned United.

Saw Sheen in the title role in Caligula at the Donmar Warehouse years ago - absolutely amazing.
