Mayweather was lit up like a candle for most of that fight, he disguised it well but thats why he had a bad night. Those shots to the back of the head will have really messed with his balance and comprehension.

I wonder why he didnt try the ortiz trick on maidana?

Of course floyd, never uses the forearm or holds and ties up. Maidana, pushed the boundaries, mayweather made sure everyone knew about it.

Bit of annoying trend these one eyed 'agenda videos'.

Wow. I remember it being a rough fight, but Jesus.

Low blows, headbutts, kicking in the gonads, rugby tackling, behind the head shots?! Wow.

Fair play to Floyd for coming through it.

Even the above cant beat him!

I think the blue print is a jab and movement for for beating Floyd.

Maybe Khan pushes him close. But that's it for me. Nobody can trouble him otherwise.

Great tactics by Maidana..If you are fighting a great fighter who has a good rhythm...Find a way to unsettle him...and take him out of it..

Even the one sided video clip shows floyd headlocks and forearming. Fair play to maidana, the onus is totally on the ref, Weeks just let it all go, which really added to the flow of the fight.

Floyd also more than held his own being rough housed by a brawler 20lbs better off, that in itself is mighty impressive.

... True. If he'd been a soft touch he'd have been found out long ago. Think it was a bit if a blow to Ricky hatton to find out that floyd was a better inside fighter than he was.

Let them both foul or let neither of them foul. I'd prefer the latter, myself but a fight's a fight.

Also, give them each a wild card they can play once, where they get given a weapon at random. There's just as much chance of getting a rubber duck as there is of getting a plank with a nail in it or a bazooka.

They were both up to no good all the way through, if you made a similar video showing Floyds sneaky forearms, elbows and grabbing round the head it wouldnt look so clever either. At the end of the day both used the dark arts and both took whatever the other threw at them. To be fair to Floyd whatever anyone says about him he is as tough as he is talented when it comes down to it.

It's not a tickling contest and a video that is so biased should be longer and contain more content if his fouling was over and beyond the limit. We'd all rather a fair clean fight but Mayweather can give as good as he gets and he does, just ask Hatton, his toughness is often overlooked.

Touched down once because of a broken hand and rocked twice by the devastating power of Mosley. Mayweather just like Hopkins is a master of fouling on the referees blind side, it's cheating but in a perverse way also takes a lot of skill to go unnoticed.

Maidana had to try something to get Mayweather out of his comfort zone and for a few rounds it was working, we're not talking about somebody like Wlad fouling because he was scared stiff of little old Povetkin.

I think what Marcos should have done is stood off Floyd and tried to outbox him. He would have lost every second of every round, but he would not have upset the delicate sensibilites of whoever put this video together.

Agree with the general sentiment here; Floyd is a championship level boxer. I doubt a few low-blows and shots to the back of the head are things he isn't used to dealing with.

He may not be the most rugged fighter, but it is not possible to compete at the level Mayweather has, for the length of time that he has, without being tough enough to withstand these kind of roughhouse tactics.

As others have also mentioned, Mayweather is hardly above utilising dubious tactics himself, where appropriate.
