I think that was a poor stoppage. Should let him make it to the end of the round.

Nah I don't agree with that stoppage. Vice versa and Mitchell gets benefit of the doubt.

What an odd finish. I didn't think the punch looked that hard but Maduma simply seemed to lose his legs. Exhaustion and punch, maybe?

Not the best finish by Mitchell but the ref was right.

I reckon they should have a rematch following that decision. £5m each for the rematch

Referee stopped that because when he reached for the rope he missed and stumbled, made his condition look a lot worse than it was.

Maduma's legs had gone and he was there to be hit. The ref had to protect him from himself. It was a good stoppage.

Unless anybody out there can tell me how they thought, given how his legs went, he was going to come back?

Credit to Mitchell stuck in there; two years ago odd he wouldn't have I don't think. Showed that he's just short of world class still though; easy to frustrate and figure out.

Calling it now; first of two big predictions! De gale gets walked down and beaten..stopped around the 10th!

Just to point out, Maduma also failed to raise his hands to the ref after the standing 8.
