Just trying to understand poorly not making anything of it. Yes I sign players when over limit but then release. It's very different to never have someone touch your squad and be sold. You can't sell someone if over 40 I thought. Like you I believe it's very unclear

I only mentioned your squad because you were at 41 when bidding for somebody, I wouldn't have even mentioned it at 40.

Releasing a player or selling one, I can't see the issue. It sounds a bit like sour grapes because you couldn't sign him to me Whistle

Not bothered at all but it makes no sense. I was keen to sign him but was out of bids. No point in squad sizes if you can do that.

I was on the squad limit having released Hunt especially to make the signing. I have always allowed signings when on the limit. I kept myself within the limits by then selling him on. No different then if I had traded off a 2 for 1 or sold someone else off for cash which has happened many times before. The only issue here is your unhappy you missed out on him.

I was unaware the rules had been changed. I got hammered for it when I tried it which was why I raised it as remembered by Steve below. I actually think what you did should be allowed in principal but it was not when I attemptee it and I had never been made aware that had been changed

When did you get slated for this Matt?

I think this may have been prior to Johnny taking over. I recall questioning such dealings about 3 years ago and being told it was fine.

Either way it doesn't matter, it's happened a quite a few times last season and nobody has questioned it.
