Breaking news on SSN

IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook has been stabbed whilst on holiday. Details still coming out no one quite sure of the situation. apparently there was a altercation whilst on a night out.

It's not life threatening. Starting to think boxers should stay away from Spain seems to be happening a lot at the moment.

Shouldn't condemn a Country for a couple of idiots..........probably a British holiday maker that he argued with.......

After all I doubt kell speaks much Spanish or enough to offend anybody !!

Makes me wonder if it was some doughnut who wanted to earn "tough guy" points by going for a boxer with a knife. I feel for Kell as this has probably put his first defence back a couple of months.

That said, what sort of places does he frequent? Whenever I've been on holiday I have never seen any trouble, even in Ibiza (except the time I saw a guy off his face try to beat up a house...). Is it the "attitude" that some boxers show?

We can only speculate, Bounce, but there is the possibility that someone saw him swanning around and wanted to take a pop at him. Also, being British, there is the likelihood that copious amounts of booze were involved.
