Not a bad Brive side but will really struggle at the set piece. There is a bit of everything in the Chiefs back line and they should edge the territory battle while having the spark to score a few tries. 


Bath Rugby 57-7 Bucharest Wolves
Routine win.


Lyon 18-26 London Welsh
Good form in the Welsh flanks and with Trinc Duc pulling the strings win out but Lyon no pushovers at home and prevent any bonus point.


Bayonne 15-22 Saracens
Sarries edge the pack battle but don't dominate here. Steyn at 10 needs form but the midfield is potentially mouth watering. Should win out but again don't see a bonus point forthcoming.


London Irish 62-6 Rovigo
Routine win plenty of potential in that midfield long term Prop!

Exeter 32 - 19 Brive

Quite a comfortable win at home for Exeter.

Bath 52 - 10 Bucheresti

Pretty comfortable.

Lyon 23 - 32 London Welsh

not an easy fixture for Welsh but they've gone in strong and take a good away win.

Bayonne 19 - 20 Saracens

This isn't an easy fixture in Basque country and Saracens scrape the win. Bayonne have some real quality outside of the front five and in the backs and at home will have considerable periods of pressure. Saracens have a enough to come through but its not an easy win.

London Irish 55 - 11 Rovigo

Pretty simple stuff for Irish.

Good Chiefs side and their pack will win the game for them, Brive not firing at the moment and tend to give up when they fall behind.

Bath 58-10 Bucharest
Simple here for Bath, their kids will run the show and the bench will pull it away.

Lyon 20-30 Welsh
Welsh needed to take the game to Lyon and with that backrow they will come away with a win with a great balance there.

Bayonne 18-23 Saracens
Francis has impressed me a lot this season and is keep Low out of the squad. Sarries will have enough travelling to quite a hostile environment, a very exciting backline on show too.[/b]

Easy win, a complete mismatch in ability, good start for bath too.

One of the toughest trips away from home in the challenge cup. The atypical big french pack create a test for Sarries, but they have enough quality and firepower outwide to seal the win.

Another routine win against inferior opposition.

Lyon are a gritty and hard side to take apart at home, and create a good test for Welsh. But Welsh have got the quality in their side to take a bonus point win away from home.
