leads to a penalty at the scrum..kick to the corner. The French are clearly getting frustrated...yellow card for Privat yada yada...they might as well just give Bath a win and five points..

Fair comment ME, but Pelly have done nothing to help themselves.
The two yellows were completely howl-at-the-moon stupid.

true..but the lead up to the second yellow was hilariously one sided. The first one was close to a red card...probably got away with it as the 9 was backing in and he didnt swing at him.

Ref might be partial to his fellow brits but Montpelier could have got 2 red cards by now... Absolute shambles of a team tonight. What a waste of good players. No wonders all MHR assistant coaches left.

You just cannot have a british ref with a british team. Ref should have been Irish or Italian even

I am delighted bath didnt get the bonus point. The ref was so one sided he made Joubert in the world cup final seem totally impartial.

Bath probably shouldn't have changed 5 at once, any chance of a bonus point went then. Another ref might have given a red ME, so it could have been worse.

A try vs 3 goals, 2 penalty goals and a drop goal. Dreadful conditions to try and play rugby in, but Bath's 3rd try was the best I have seen this season.

Came on here to review the Bath game but instead seem to have stumbled across some random poster having a breakdown...

Still well done Bath, the replacements seemed to kill the momentum though and ruin any chance of a tbp

Pre planned replacements was a gripe that most London Irish fans had when Booth was in charge. I know Mike Ford is DoR, but I wonder how much of the matchday stuff Booth is responsible for.

Missing out on the bp is annoying but it was great to see another top performance from our reserve front row. Auterac and Thomas look like inspired signings at the moment. Diamonds comments that Thomas can't scrummage look wide of the mark at the moment.

Couldn't scrummage under Steve Diamond coaching, but Hatley seems to have done a job. Chin up Diamond.

Probably a combination of both of them. Good to see him doing well, if he can nail the scrummage he offers far more around the field than most THs.

Henson picked up a knock pre game against Quins and I think since the backs bench spot has gone to Burgess. The sooner we get him in the pack the better.

Anyone else think Burgess needs to be taught to tackle in an acceptable manner for union? Made two tackles, both head high and with a swinging arm. IMO lucky to stay on the pitch

His tackling could use a bit of work (I think the first one was more of a chest slam if I recall correctly). I think he'll get himself used to it but it may take the odd penalty/yellow first. As they said in the commentary he's a bit overexcited and trying to get involved.

I dont think malicious in any way - and the swinging arm at chest hight is common I think in league to try to dislodge the ball. However unless he changes he is going to be a penalty magnet I believe

Yeah, you can do it in League. He's an intelligent player. I don't think it'll take him long to adapt.

Sonny Bill Williams did exactly the same when he first crossed over, doesn't help that their tall players as well. He'll get penalised a bit more and then learn
