Where's your money? Empty Where's your money?

Post by Group Cpt Lionel Mandrake Sat 02 May 2015, 5:19 pm

Interested to see where everyone's money is going. The heart says Manny but the head says Floyd so to make it interesting I've gone for

£20 on Floyd decision @ 5/6
£5 on Manny ko/tko @ 9/2
£5 on Manny decision @ 7/1

Plus I've got a £10 in-play free bet.

I've pretty much guaranteed a Floyd KO with those choices...

Had a fiver free bet. Put it on Floyd to win on points. Boring and won't return much, but struggling to see a different outcome myself

I've gone (rough estimates)
Pacquiao decision £15 @ 7/1

Then Mayweather Decision Free £20 at evens on a separate site. I'll be pretty upset if these bastards don't go 12

Given, the Ortiz cheap shot aside, its donkey's since either of these two stopped anyone, it's surprising the odds are better for a manny ko than manny on points. I think mayweather will win, but manny on points looks the value bet at 7-1

The only bet that's worth making, is that this fight fails to live up to the hype. Two fighters passed their bests rarely ends up as a classic.

It's a conundrum this, Silver. Given the fact that I'm leading the 606 predictor league, you couldn't do better than go with my bet. But given the fact that I'm 1/3 for thé fight weekend... you might have picked the wrong weekend to go with my bet!!!

My bets are:

£10 on Floyd win @ 1/2
£5 on Manny SD/MD @ 14/1
£2.50 on Manny on points 11/2
£2.50 Draw @ 22/1

Just a bit of fun to add whilst watching it.

i'm not a gambling man, but it's fair to say that i haven't been this excited about a fight since since Tyson v Spinks. Missus Hero is now thoroughly fed up with me shadow boxing around our living room chanting "Manny, Manny " repeatedly whilst trying two get our two year old son to throw combinations into the palms of my hands.

You sir... win the Internet.

(and have almost certainly opened yourself up to the sort of soul crushing disappointment which leaves you into a deep depression)

I've had a fiver on mayweather ko 11. Not that I think it'll happen but just to have a bet on it that pays a tidy bit back.

If that's what's happening in your living room, the mind boggles at what might be happening in d4's living room/padded cell.

thanks Mate,I know that I really should know better but it's nights like this that just reinforce just how addicted you can become to this sport-I love Spurs, but if i could choose between watching us win the league at home, against that other north london side, or being ringside tonight, it would be no contest, by 3.300am I literally won't be able to sit still I will be so excited….. half an hour later it will probably be be a completely different story….

I haven't placed my bet yet. My problem is I like supporting the underdog and look for reasons to back them with my own money. I never learn. I will place a bet, probably on Manny SD.

Sorry but Leo Santa Cruz is an over rated bum. He fights nobodies and he is boring as hell. Frampton and Quigg eat him for breakfast.
