It was a tough decision but I felt it would benefit other areas of my team, as much as I rate both Clasie and Morata highly.

Yeah it was tough to let Herrera go, he's a good player (although not as good imo as afro is making out)

Hoping Clasue gets a good move this summer too

See I would say that Herrera is much better than Clasie. More to his game, whilst Morata isn't a prolific scorer (something like 1 in 4 in top flight). Never has and never will be in my eyes. He's a good backup and will get 10 goals a season in real life.

And I can understand why some don't like Alves because he is not your typical RB, but if you are playing a style to suit flying FBs, he is ideal and he has just had a good season for Barca.

I think the proof will be in that Clasie will move somewhere like Southampton, whilst Herrera will go to a CL club.

If Alves played for Spurs he'd get exposed for what he is, a terrible defender who has been protected for years by a team that plays tiki-taka and who pegs the opposition in their own half. As soon as Alves plays on a team where he has to defend, he'll get royally flucked. He is great going forward, he's like Kyle Walker on speed if Kyle Walker could control a ball, make runs, cross, pass or shoot.

But he doesn't play for a team who has to defend a lot. He plays for a team who's style means that needs to winger in both full back positions.

Put him at Spurs and he would probably play RW, not RB.

I'm going to stop now but if Alves gets sold to lawyers, please ask me to elaborate further.

I'd raised my thoughts with Miky regarding Alves privately in that at Barca his gung-ho style works but at a different team it'd be exposed and I see where both Azzy & Afro are coming from.
He's certainly a step up from Arbeloa.
Is Miky's Arsenal the Barca of the league though that can keep the ball entrenched in the opposition half and not have to worry about periods of defending? Only time will tell.
