Should the Cibi be banned?

woke up early to watch the opening ceremony and the first game of the RWC, and noticed that Fiji performed the Cibi. This is a war dance. This intimidates the opposition and gives Fiji an unfair advantage. Though could be hugely influential in whether or not they advance to the quarter finals ahead of Australia and Wales.

So should the Cibi be banned?

IF, you are going to "BAN THIS CICBI"  then you ban the HAKA. and you can shout as loud as you like. No one wants that.

There are good wums, poor wums, very poor wums and then there's this.

Reading the title, first thoughts were that Cibi was a Fijian player. Altho the amount of "uproar" on social media last night due to Eng fans singing over the Cibi ala' the Haka was predictable and funny.

It was a bit of a shame it got drowned out though.

It's a rugby match not a dance off.
If teams want to do their thing - that's fine, but just because it is meaningful to your team doesn't mean anyone else gives a toss.

It looked like they needed more practice anyway, but it does pose the question how much do the All Blacks practice their dance?

I think I'd just personally worry about how much they practice their rugby...

What surprised me was Dawson didn't release a YouTube clip of the Cibi-rena in black face during game week. I mean, that would have been really really hilarious eh? :o/

I doubt the Fijians would have been bothered with a bit of harmless japery. NZ, on the other hand, are offended if someone sneezes in their general direction (norovirus pun not intended)

It's ok Cyril. I pick up what you're putting down, it's all relative.

Anyways, I knew this Fijian guy once that entered a pun competition. He sent in ten puns to see if any would win. No pun in ten did.

A few years ago Lou Reed was penalised for shouting as he charged down a players kick, referee cited Ungentlemanly Conduct. Is the war dances of the pacific island nations excluded from this?
