Fiji vs Uruguay

It would be remiss of us to forego a topic on the game that just finished. What a fantastic game of rugby this was. Fiji played pretty well and congrats to Uruguay for scoring their first (and second) World Cup tries. Crowd looked right up for it on a pretty horrible night. 

Got a bit spicy towards the end too.

Fiji were pretty average. Uruguay were awful.

J P Doyle is a dreadful ref. It's time the RFU turned him back to Ireland so he can ref in the Pro12.

Eejit - Great post. That game is exactly what the RWC is about it was a great dog fight out there, raw and entertaining. JP is a bit pedantic and he's not my fav ref. He didn't need to card those guys at the end IMO

Certainlt not Ma'afu anyway he was just celebrating and got shoved. The other one was just a build up of stuff I think and unluckily for him it was his second of the game. Personally thought it was a cracking game as was the Canada Romania one before it.

No thanks we've enough sh1te refs in the Pro12 already, ye can keep Doyle. Bad enough that two of the worst refs are Irish, Clancy and Lacey, now a first generation Irish in the shape of JP gives us a hat trick

JP did alright.

Also thought it was a good game compared to watching a Pro12 game on a wet night.

Another entertaining game though. And Uruguay clearly like an old fashioned rumble or two. Spose it's a relief they were not in the same group as Argentina.
