Lunch Time Tunes Empty Lunch Time Tunes

Post by David Tails Wed 09 Feb 2011, 3:09 pm

I was sitting at lunch listening to one of my favourite albums of all time. I actually haven't listened to it in a while, but it really brought back just how much I love it.

Foo Fighters - The Colour and Shape.

Such a great album. My Hero and Everlong are up there as some of my fav songs ever.

Anyone else listen to music over lunch? If so, what was it today??

I have a personal MP3 player on pretty much all day with headphones, and unless I'm particularly in the mood for something then it's on random, so it can be pretty much anything!

Today at lunchtime though I think the selection included Joe Bonamassa, Dream Theater, Led Zeppelin, Roger Waters and Spock's Beard

Big big fan of Foo Fighters Colour & the Shape, Everlong for me is just such a great song and very much looking forward to seeing them again in the summer at Milton Keynes.

I'm insanely jealous. They have played up here before, but I couldn't get tickets. They are one of the few current bands I would love to see.

Oh and good shout on Joe Bonamassa thumbsup

Lunch Time Tunes Empty Books

Post by John From London Town Thu 10 Feb 2011, 9:56 am

I'm currently reading both the Keith Richards autobiography & also Brian Keenan's book 'An Evil Cradling'.

If anyone has read any masterpiece, please share on here as I'm always on the look out for a good book. Thanks.

I left my headphones at home today Sad

So it was a music free lunch time for me.

Now I'm back in to the office and they have Kylie on the radio. I'm still trying to get my colleagues to agree to stop playing naff radio stations and to put on Planet Rock instead. thumbsup
