The Exorcist
Saw this and downloaded the first episode at the weekend - absolute cracking. Can't really say too much more as this was the first episode but I highly recommend it.

Re: The Exorcist
All frivolity aside Super ya little scamp, it closely mirrors the original film/novel with a local priest being approached by a worried mother that there's something wrong in her home. Spooky goings on and strange noises are heard.
This local priest tracks down another priest who had a torrid time performing an exorcism some years before and asks for his help
There's a nice little twist in the tale but I won't spoil it for you.........

Re: The Exorcist
I saw something similar to this show on Sky called Outcast. Now that was a good show.

F*ck off Nadeem, I'm talking abut The Exorcist here, not the show you watched. Start your own thread about your show and stop hijacking mine. Dear God in Heaven, I'm complaining to the mods about you, I really am, I've just about reached the end of my tether...........

Re: The Exorcist
Here's the synopsis dave
Kyle Barnes has had a series of misfortunes in his life; his mother would beat him as a child and he was accused of attacking his own daughter. After attending an exorcism in his native town, he is convinced his mother and his wife were possessed and he was not the source of them going bad. He therefore teams up with Reverend Anderson to try and save people that are possessed by demons while putting up with the residents of his town who think he's bad news and would deserve to be in jail.
Everyone watch Outcast not The sexorcist. It's made by Robert Kirkman, the guy who created The Walking Dead. Outcast is much better.

Re: The Exorcist
Outcast appears to be a lot better based on nadeems synopsis.
Could someone maybe change the thread title to something along the lines of "outcast and other similar, inferior shows"

Re: The Exorcist
I wonder if, one day, there will be a TV version of Barton Fink. It would make a terrific series.

Re: The Exorcist
It would pale beside a tv version of The Big Lebowski...you know it, Galted, they know it, that's why it's never been made.
