V2 WWC 2016- 1st Round Group D

The 2016 V2 WWC continues with day 2, who will join the likes of Kenny Omega and Asuka in the second round?

No brainer for me. Marty Scurll has been incredible and his BOLA win backs that up.

And New Day, they've been the W, W, E, World, Tag, Team, CHAMPIONS the entire 12 month period. They've kept their act fresh throughout even adopting a tweener role lately to try and break Demolition's record.

Bobby Roode's entrance is glorious but what else has he done?

I went for Roode and New Day. 

I thought Roode's match with Tye Dillinger was very good at Takeover and he's been generally a top performer. I agree he hasn't had much opportunity to really shine but I think it'll come and I'd certainly put him ahead of the others I've seen like Wyatt and Sin Cara.

The New Day have started to become repetitive and stale, but for a long time they were entertaining and they've helped reinvigorate the tag team division whilst also being the best use of Kingston and Big E since they both came onto the scene.

I went for Scurll first, there's a really strong argument he's been the face of Britwres this year and has done great work wherever he's been including Progress, Rev Pro, Evolve and PWG, I've not seen his ROH stuff yet but he's recived rave reviews and a big push right out the gate

I went for the New Day second, they've lost a bit of steam in recent months, particularly in that abysmal fued with the Club (yet another tag division ruined by Anderson and Gallows) but they've been a high profile act all year and have always done entertaining character work

If we're basing it on work over the past 12 months then I have to give it to New Day and Scurll.
