After feedback from the nominations thread, here is the final shortlist.

Please vote on who you would like to be the new cricket moderator - the role is to lock/ merge/ delete/edit any threads that are either offensive (sexist/ racist/ overly hostile or libelous) or duplicate or wumming. It is not to censor opinions.

They should still be considered to be regular poster who will only get involved if threads breach the above.

Voting closes at 8pm Thursday

ok, this is getting a bit messy now. I have not allowed any 'vote cancelling'
The votes at the end of the poll will be the final count. Its not fair on people to change half way through if voted for yourself and subsequently want to change.

There was a change earlier YI. Not that it affects matters wholly, cf had 3 votes, then looking back he went to 2 and liams vote grew by 1.

A mod has the powers to edit/delete/merge etc
You dont get paid for it.

Everything in cricket section is running well, but with the increased membership and how busy the section is getting the Admin team need an extra pair of hands to keep an eye on the section.

Thankfully, there has been no problems in cricket, and long may it continue. But knowing there is a member here with the powers to act straight away it is a great help, should that be required.

The mod is a member 99% of the time and should be viewed as such, and only needs to don their mod hat when required. Its not a popularity contest, its simply giving a member a few extra buttons to edit/delete/merge etc.
