WRU has three-man shortlist to replace Gatland in 2019

So that’ll be Howley, McBride and wonder who the third is...

Imagine all three of them in charge.

It's not even as if this coaching team has been successful recently. We haven't won the Six Nations since 2013, and we finished 5th last season with Howley in charge. That's a bad audition by any standards.

The national side is crying out for new blood in the coaching team. The players must feel that more than any of us.

According to WOL, the shortlist is down to eight people:-

ROB HOWLEY
DAI YOUNG
DAVE RENNIE
ROBIN MCBRYDE
ANDY FARRELL
BERNARD JACKMAN
VERN COTTER
CHRIS BOYD

The WOL have made this list up to start hares running. There maybe some who are on the list, but only the WRU know for sure.

And thank god for that.... FARRELL and JACKMAN..WTF

Phillips has said Howley is not on the list. Thank f’ck for that. If it comes down to Rennie and Young then it’s Rennie for me. Shorter and more successful coaching career.

Can't help but wonder if Wayne Pivac is in that mix somewhere.

I expect its not the only post 2019 list Gats is on #NEXTNZCOACH.

Farrell and Young would be good and i hope Stephen Jones is in the mix too in some capacity

Anyway, according to Warren Gatland, Rob Howely is out of the frame, and he is saying that he will finish when he goes in 2019.
