Olympic tennis tickets

So out of the people on here who applied for any, who got lucky and has some for next summer?

I didn't get any

I did apply, but haven't heard a dickie bird....how do you know you didn't get any?
Dis you get an email...all I keep getting is these emails to have enough cash on the card in case I get the ticket....what a stupid system...however if I do get the ticket...oooooh Ill open the best bottle of champers ....for I applied for the most expensive one in the final

I am waiting for my friend to call as he has applied for tennis tickets in the final.

yes they will be playing on the grass at Wimbledon.

I have got tickets for the tennis, third round.

As I understand it, the only way you knew if you had been successful was to check your account and if money had been withdrawn by 31st May, you had them. I had a withdrawal from London 2012 on the 31st May, so I've been lucky. Whilst there is going to be a second round of tickets, I don't believe that tennis is one of the sports that will be included in this as it was over-subscribed. So if you didn't get them by 31st May, you won't get them from the "official channels", so to speak.

To say I am beside myself with excitement is an understatement. Wimbledon will eschew its usual traditions for this time only, so that will be an event in itself, plus I just want to savour the Olympics atmosphere.

So ... I shall tootle off now before I continue to rub it in.
