MLB.com Free game of the day

I just found this and I can't believe any big 4 sport would do this as you have to pay for it on NFL and NHL.

Right now I'm watching the Dodgers @ Rockies, quite slow start with Rockies 1-0 but a five run 5th inning and it's 6-0.

Did anyone know about this?

No, I don't really bother with MLB.com apart from getting highlights of games I missed. Can you get ESPN America MTM? The Baseball coverage on there is great and there's tons of NCAA Football and decent NBA, NHL and US Soccer coverage too.

Yeah, I've got ESPN America, although I've cancelled it so it gets cut after game 7 of the Stanley Cup, and I'll get it again mid July for MNF Classics, but last night I was looking for latest scores and saw "FREE GAME OF THE DAY". I don't know what game is on today but tomorrow the free game is the Mets @ Pirates.

It's really good quality too, near HD.

Thanks for that, Im on MLB.com every day but have never seen this. Surprised they are doing it this far into the season, I thought they only had 'free' games for the first month, to help promote MLBTV. Will keep an eye out in future.
