6CW Proving Grounds Results (Genesis Go Home Show) Empty 6CW Proving Grounds Results (Genesis Go Home Show)

Post by JJJohnson Thu 11 Mar 2021, 2:07 pm

*The show opens with The Empire making their way to ringside. We get clips of last week’s main event and the show ending with the triple team beatdown of Tyler Roth. Karl Kramer is the main focus of the cameras as he shows off the 6WF Championship and we get plenty of hype for the Elimination Chamber match at Genesis.

*Charles Kramer gets on the mic with the introductions. Says Oko & Vortex will win tonight and claim the tag titles at Genesis. Proclaims his nephew the true world champion and the greatest 6WF Champion of all time. Says when he wins the Elimination Chamber match he will have achieved something no champion in history has ever done by defeating twenty four challengers in a month (Open Gauntlet & The Chamber). Says there is a conspiracy from the 6CW Council but soon they will come to realise that the rise of The Empire cannot be stopped and they’ll be better suited supporting the faction than opposing them because anyone against them ends up paying the price, just ask Tyler Roth.

*Charles Kramer says last week’s demolition of Roth was a consequence of the horrific slander being spread by “The Reaper” and that when you mess with the Kramer Klan you bring the wrath of hell upon yourself. Karl Kramer snatches the mic from his uncle and is in a dark mood. He says Tyler Roth’s demise was brought about by his own arrogance in believing he could besmirch the Kramer name and get away with it. By believing that he will take the 6WF Championship at Genesis and believing that he could ever beat King Karl Kramer in any setting. Karl Kramer says that Tyler Roth disrespected his uncle by spreading lies and that will not be tolerated by The King….that is punishable by Empire Law….and that here tonight Roth, if foolish enough to turn up, will receive the second part of his sentence. Kramer then goes on to talk about the Elimination Chamber….he says there’s five other men stepping into the battleground and each of them believes they have the chance of being world champion when it’s all over. But Kramer says they don’t really understand what they are letting themselves in for. This is his kingdom and he rules with no mercy, an untameable bloodlust….and that all five contenders should concern themselves with the hope of leaving the Chamber with some semblance of a career left and not his 6WF Championship belt, because he cannot and will not lose….Kramer says it is time to start putting respect on his family’s name and that if anyone has a problem with that then they need to step up like a man and face their fall.

*The virtual crowd goes wild as Tyler Roth answers the call. Roth is dressed in jeans and a vest. He congratulates The Empire on being a bigger punch of “pussies” than he he believed, that it took three of them to take him out and yet here he is, on his feet and daring to “defy a king”. Roth mocks The Empire and tells KK that his whole “Roman Reigns” act won’t wash because nobody is believing him a bada55 whilst hiding behind his uncle. Roth reiterates his claims that Charles Kramer is a snake and what happened in Japan. He says he doesn’t think they quite understood what he told them last week….this doesn’t end because they put him through a table, it won’t end after tonight’s Falls Count Anywhere match…..it ends at Genesis when “The King” is locked inside an impenetrable deathtrap with the most dangerous man in the world, nobody backing him up, nobody bailing him out….he says Karl Kramer is going to pay his uncle’s debts, the end of Karl Kramer’s 6WF Championship reign will serve as payback for all the careers ruined in Japan….the blood of the King running out of the Chamber like a river will force Charles Kramer to finally accept accountability for his actions….

And even then….when KK’s skull is crushed (Oko can let you know the kind of pain to expect) and The Empire’s five minutes of fame extinguished….this whole thing doesn’t end until they’re all gone….Karl Kramer, Oko, Vortex….he is going to take great pleasure in ripping them all limb from limb and making “Korekuta” watch….and when he’s done, then it is Charlie’s turn….The Reaper does not discriminate, he leaves no stone unturned….every soul belongs to him but some are much sweeter to claim than others and he is going to savour the day when he can finally feast upon the final breaths of Charles Kramer….then he can see whether there actually is a soul in there, but even if there isn’t he will enjoy breaking each and every bone in that wrinkled old body….this is personal, if they hadn’t already figured it out, and just winning the 6WF Championship is not enough….so they can stand out here and talk tough but they should think twice before inviting the Death himself willingly toward them….Roth doesn’t want to wait any longer and says they can do the main event here and now….

*Roth heads down the ramp as The Empire prepare for a fight but then Robin Reborn & The Wolf Gang enter the arena. Reborn is on the mic and he says Roth & Kramer need to wind it in because listening to them speak you’d think the whole world had forgotten about the rest of the men in the Elimination Chamber match. Reborn is incensed at their attitudes but he isn’t surprised by the arrogance and being overlooked. But he makes it clear that The Wolf Gang, not The Empire, is the new age power in 6CW and they will define this era. He says Roth and Kramer are welcome to their “war of privilege” but they can leave the 6WF Championship at the door because neither of them will be leaving Genesis with it. Reborn says it is time for the world and 6CW to wake up and open their eyes to the movement taking place in front of their eyes. Charles Kramer retaliates now and mocks The Wolf Gang. He says they talk a great game but it’s been the same spiel for months now and yet they have delivered false promise after false promise whilst The Empire have delivered, full stop. CK applauds Reborn for qualifying for the Chamber whilst dragging dead weight (Ojore and Drake look angry) but Genesis will be the latest in a long line of high profile failures. He says the reason nobody is talking about Reborn or the rest of the playing field is, quite simply, because the world knows they don’t stand a chance.

*This brings out Jackson Jackson. Jackson mocks The Empire, The Wolf Gang and although he respects Roth he mocks him too. Jackson says it’s been a good chat but all this talk means absolutely nothing because all that matters is when they step inside The Chamber. Jackson knows they are all top class superstars but only one of them can leave as 6WF Champion and that is exactly what he intends on doing. Charles Kramer mocks Jackson in return now and says Jackson is becoming more and more of a Max Adamson tribute act and will never step out of his mentor’s shadow. CK says all of these men can run their mouths but Kramer has already beaten them all, Genesis will be no different. Jackson is irked by the comments of CK but Geoff Steel appears before he can respond.

*Steel says KK has never beaten him. Steel won the 6CW Championship inside The Chamber and he has more experience than the rest of the playing field. He respects them all, respects anyone who has earned the right to compete for the world title but he can see it, feel it, that each and everyone of them is overlooking him and that will be to their detriment. CK showers Steel with praise and says he has always been a fan but advises Steel to choose a different path because he doesn’t want his nephew to be responsible for retiring a “legend”. He says Steel was a tremendous competitor ten years ago but this is Karl Kramer’s time now, The era of The Empire and Steel does not want to stand in the way of that. Steel thanks CK for his concern but he has never backed down in his life and won’t start now. He came back to show he can still hang tough at the highest level and this is his opportunity, of which he intends to seize it with both hands. Steel says that “Genesis” and his career have gone hand in hand so it will be fitting that he leaves the event as 6WF Champion. CK gives them all one final opportunity to walk away before it is too late but nobody leaves.

*The commentary team hype up the main event and the Elimination Chamber match as all of the superstars at ringside continue to stare one another down. The debate rages on who will leave Genesis as 6WF Champion.

*The commentary team recap the show from last week and we get clips of Clarke James’ attack on Marshall Murdoch whilst they hype tonight’s “Contract Signing”. We get hype for the Tag Team Championship Semi-Finals as well the appearance of Mike Masters. There is another clip of Ethan Shaw’s promise to return Christy James tonight once GazzyD & Uryu have faced off in the final Elimination Chamber qualifier. We then head backstage as Geoff Steel is being interviewed by Fleur Michaels.

*Geoff Steel talks about the Elimination Chamber and how he is being overlooked because he’s “past it”. Steel welcomes his opponent’s ignorance and promises they are in for a shock at Genesis. Steel knows, first hand, what this match is all about and the effects it can have on your career. He also knows that the pain and anguish you can suffer is all worth it if you can walk away victorious as world champion. Steel said the one thing in his career he never achieved was headlining Night of Glory but this is the opportunity to walk into the event as a defending champ and he vows to make the most of it.

Bout 1
Geoff Steel vs Jackson Jackson vs Robin Reborn

*All three superstars make their separate entrances as we get recaps on how each of them qualified for the Elimination Chamber at Genesis. Reborn is out alone and the commentators talk of their surprise that he isn’t bringing backup but Jeff Thadeus points out that he’ll be on his own at Genesis so he may as well get used to it now.

*All three men have held the 6CW Championship but this will be the first chance any of them have had at the 6WF Championship. Reborn stands between both of his opponents and runs his mouth which turns to both of them decking him with simultaneous right hands.

*Jackson then turns to Steel and lets off with knife edge chops, only for Steel to answer back with crunching fists to the head. They go back and forth until Steel hammers home with a big knee to the gut. He whips Jackson to the corner but JJ spins around the ropes and lands a feint kick over the top (ala Christian). Jackson goes high with a crossbody but Steel rolls through. Steel stands and throws JJ onto his shoulders for an “Attitude Adjustment” but Reborn takes him out from behind with a “World Star” neckbreaker.

*Reborn nails a low dropkick to send Steel under the ropes and then beckons Jackson up. Reborn nails a leaping bionic elbow in the corner before dropping Jackson with a double palm thrust to the chest as he walks back out. Reborn goes high for the “shooting star press” but Jackson rolls out of the way, only for RR to land out on his feet at the final moment. Jackson quickly lifts Reborn into an inverted atomic drop and a wrist clutched cradle slam into a pin for a two

*Jackson drags Reborn up for the “Jacked Off” but Reborn flips out back and then nails a roundhouse kick to the head as JJ turns. Reborn lands a kick to the gut and attempts the “God’s Last Gift” but Jackson spins free and scores with a discus elbow smash. Reborn is knocked off balance and walks straight into a running boot from the returning Geoff Steel. Jackson charges in but misses with a right hand and eats a full nelson slam. Steel then shows his strength to bench Reborn and slams him on top of Jackson. He covers Jackson but only gets a two.

*Jackson rolls from the ring as Steel concentrates on Reborn. He flips him up for a powerbomb but Reborn slides down the back, locking his legs under Steel’s armpits, and flips into a sunset bomb counter for a two. They scramble back up and Reborn sidesteps Steel whilst sending him crashing into the corner. RR then charges in for a flying splash but Steel catches him. Steel walks out and then nails a fall away slam that sends Reborn crashing back against the turnbuckle. Steel grabs Reborn by the head and drags him to centre ring for the “Bladecutter” but Jackson flies from on high with a missile dropkick to break it up.

*Jackson lands three successive stiff European uppercuts on Steel and looks for an Irish whip but it is reversed. Jackson comes back off the ropes but dodges Steel’s attack before turning from the opposite side with a spinning heel kick. He pulls Steel back up for a standing “Spanish Fly” but Steel elbows free. Steel scoops Jackson onto his shoulders and then amazingly gets Reborn on there as well….a double fireman’s slam looks likely but then they both scramble off and score with a double dropkick. Steel gets back up and he is double flapjacked across the top rope into a double back suplex that sends him from the ring.

*A shoving match ensues between Reborn and Jackson before Jackson scores with a right hand. Jackson looks for a whip but Reborn springs onto the turnbuckle and twists back with a headscissors takedown. They scramble up and Reborn shows off his Matrix-like-agility to dodge Jackson’s attack and then nails an exploding t-bone suplex. Reborn rolls out onto the apron and then catapults back in with bulldog variation. He heads up top and nails the “Shooting star press”. The referee’s hand is about to touch down for three when Steel drags him off the cover and applies the “Steel Works”.

*Reborn is in agony and tries to scramble for the ropes but they are too far away. He gets within touching distance again but Steel drags him back to the centre and jams his knee into the spine for more pressure. Reborn looks on the verge of tapping out when Jackson suddenly attacks from behind. He rushes Steel to the corner and nails a rope-assisted Shiranui for a two count.

*Jackson stalks Reborn now and then drags him up for the “Jacked Off” but Reborn lands out on his feet and looks for the “Wing Clipper”. They reach an impasse until Jackson headbutts Reborn to get free. Jackson then runs through Reborn with the “Gore” as the commentators talk about another “Ode to Max”. Jackson sets up for the “Cyclone” but Steel grabs him from behind and scores with a huge chaos theory suplex.

*Steel shows his strength to lift Reborn into a twenty second delayed suplex and then heads for the corner. He climbs high and is about to hit a flying headbutt when Jackson recovers enough to leap at the ropes and swipe Steel’s feet. Jackson climbs up and seems to be trying to nail a “Spanish Fly” but struggles against Steel’s power. Reborn then shows amazing agility to leap onto the top rope alongside Jackson and they complete the double “Spanish Fly” to huge applause from the audience.

*Steel rolls away before either man can capitalise. Reborn quickly connects with a standing step-up enzeguiri to Jackson’s temple and a brainbuster for a very close two. Reborn looks annoyed with the official but then rolls out onto the apron. Reborn bides his time and then springboards back in for the flying forearm but Jackson superkicks the top rope whilst Reborn is standing on them, causing him to flip back inside and land hard on the canvass. Jackson drags him back up and nails the “Jacked Off”.

*The three count is imminent but then Steel drags Jackson under the bottom rope. They brawl on the outside until Steel scoops Jackson up and nails an “Attitude Adjustment” on top of one of the announce tables, leaving him writhing.

*Steel heads back for the ring as Reborn is recovering. He kicks him in the gut and sets up for the “Bladecutter” but Reborn swipes his legs and bridges over the top for a two count. They scramble up and Steel sidesteps Reborn. Reborn handsprings into the ropes and fires back but Steel catches him in his arms and spins him around before running him into a powerslam for another two count. Steel grabs Reborn’s legs for the “Steel Works” but Reborn grabs his head and pulls him into a small package for a nearfall.

*They get back up and Reborn dodges Steel’s attack before felling him with a pele kick. Reborn heads for the corner and sets his sights on another “Shooting star press” but gets nothing but knees as he lands. Steel prepares for the “Bladecutter” when Ojore & Drake storm ringside.

*Drake leaps up onto the apron and Steel decks him with a right hand but then turns as Ojore charges through him with a battering ram headbutt to the chest (wearing the steel war helmet). Reborn recovers as Ojore leaves the ring. RR goes to the apron and nails the flying forearm to Steel and then the “Wing Clipper” for good measure. Jackson comes from nowhere and launches Reborn over the top rope into Ojore & Drake before making the cover on Steel for a surprise three count.

*Reborn and the Wolf Gang are irate as Jackson celebrates the victory. Henry Lloyd is aghast and says Jackson stole the win off of Reborn but Jack Reynolds points out that Geoff Steel had the match sewn up until Ojore/Drake turned up. Jeff Thadeus pays homage to all three competitors and believes they have all staked a claim to the 6WF Championship at Genesis but pays a special mention to Jackson Jackson who has the momentum heading inside the Elimination Chamber.

*Reborn is seen remonstrating and chastising Ojore and Drake as Jackson continues to celebrate. Geoff Steel sits up in the middle of the ring, a bruise on his chest from Ojore’s headbutt, and he shakes his head in frustration at what just went down. The commentators talk about how the issues between Steel & The Wolf Gang have only increased after their initial run in last week and debate on how that will manifest itself inside the Chamber.

*Charles Kramer is accosted backstage by Timothy Allen. Allen wants to talk about Tyler Roth’s comments last week in regards to what happened in Japan. CK completely refutes Roth’s claims as “fantasy” and admits he is still considering legal advice on the slander. CK claims that Roth is a “barbarian” who doesn’t respond well when things don’t go his way. He cracked Johnny Oko’s skull in Japan because his grip on success was faltering and now he is resorting to spreading lies because he hasn’t had any success here in 6CW. CK says the only reason he hasn’t sough legal advice is because his nephew, the true world champion, wishes to teach Roth a lesson in humility and honesty. He wants Roth to face Empire Justice and that is exactly what will happen here tonight in the main event. CK says he wouldn’t be surprised if Roth is unable to compete in the Elimination Chamber after what happens to him tonight but if he does, somehow, make it to Genesis then whatever is left of him will be disposed of in spectacular fashion. CK says Roth is the one who has made this “personal” and now he must deal with the consequences. CK ends by saying that he promises Tyler Roth will never be a world champion in this company or any other.

*Jackson Jackson is interviewed by Travis Sharp following the triple threat match. Jackson acknowledges that he has the momentum heading into Genesis and backs himself to be victorious inside the Elimination Chamber. JJ says he is under no illusions of the magnitude of what lies ahead but proving his doubters wrong adds fuel to the fire that has been lit inside of him once more. Sharp asks about Max Adamson, drawing parallels between their careers, and how Jackson seems to be taking shots at his former mentor with his moveset but Jackson shrugs it off. Jackson says he is his own man and he doesn’t need to be looked upon as anything else. He won the Tag Team Championships without Max Adamson, the 6CW Championship without Max Adamson and it’ll be the same story with the 6WF Championship. Jackson shows a little frustration that his name is still tied to Max despite his accomplishments but vows to eclipse Adamson’s career and reduce him to nothing more than a footnote in his hall of fame run.

6CW Proving Grounds Results (Genesis Go Home Show) Empty Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results (Genesis Go Home Show)

Post by JJJohnson Thu 11 Mar 2021, 2:11 pm

*We head back to ringside and Dante Phoenix makes a surprise appearance. We get a recap on Phoenix’ issues with Marty Helms and how Dante cost Helms his spot in the Elimination Chamber last week. We get re-confirmation that Helms will meet “Hellion” at Genesis as Dante gets on the mic.

*Phoenix says he knows Helms was planning to “call him out” here tonight but he thought he’d pre-empt that by turning up and showing, despite Helms’ claims, that he has absolutely no fear or intimidation when it comes to his opponent at Genesis. Phoenix says this all began because he took exception to Helms’ narcissism but this has now gone beyond that and he knows at Genesis they are going to war. Dante finds it difficult to believe that he fought for the future of this company alongside Helms only to watch him revert back to his old ways when he ended Dicey Reilly’s career at Born in Fire. He says Helms’ desire to maim and destroy has gone unchecked for too long but “Hellion” is more than happy to undertake that task.

*Dante says he was happy to meet Helms one on one, just the same way he agreed at World’s End, but Helms requested the “demon inside” so that is exactly what he is going to get and he will regret that decision very quickly after the bell sounds to start their match at Genesis. Dante says he doesn’t think Helms really appreciates or understands what he has let himself in for but there will be no turning back now. He is fully aware that Helms refers to himself as the “Monster Hunter” but this is one “monster” that he will not be able to handle. Phoenix says he shares the same vessel as “Hellion” and has done for as long back as he can remember, he says he can’t handle him so there is no way in the world or another that Helms will be able to. Phoenix is more than confident that Helms will be “humbled” by the “Chaos Demon” and once that happens perhaps he will search within himself for a new path because the one he has been travelling for so long has only been leading him to this point…..where all of his outward aggression will be turned back on himself. Dante says he has aspirations of his own here in 6CW, he wants a career to be proud of, but “Hellion” seems to directing his route right now and that route leads straight to and through Marty Helms….after that, well who knows…

*The big screen suddenly comes to life and Marty Helms is standing in a darkened, fog-filled, graveyard. Helms looks ominous, dressed all in black, as he addresses the camera.

*He says it’s a good cop out for Phoenix to use “Hellion” as his means to explain his loss of control…..his way to explain away all his wrong-doings….his past trauma….he says the existence of “Hellion” is just an excuse for Phoenix to hide away from the reality of his sins but at Genesis he is going to make Dante take responsibility….

Helms points at the gravestone in front of him and we don’t see the names on it but Helms tells Phoenix that he knows what it says, he knows who lies here and he knows who is responsible. Marty Helms says that Dante can play dress up, paint his face, change his identity but he cannot run from this…..this was all him…..this is on him….the blame lies at his door and that will never, ever go away…

Helms says that Phoenix seems to have appointed himself the resident “superhero” of 6CW, fighting for what is right, but that mask is about to come off and underneath there won’t be a sob story to gain fans or sympathy, the whole world will see him for what he truly is…. “Hellion” is no monster but Dante Phoenix is and he plans on exposing that at Genesis…..he says he is the “Monster Hunter” and he is going to take great pleasure in bringing this one to justice, just the same he did with Dicey Reilly….the same way he did to Cerberus and Frank Horrigan…..Marty Helms is happy to be called a narcissist, he’s happy to be consumed by a need to destroy….because at least he can look in the mirror and admit what he is…..but Dante Phoenix can’t…..Hellion can’t…..he says they share the same reflection but neither has the balls to confront the other and accept what they have done…

Helms doesn’t care who turns up at Genesis….he doesn’t care if he is painted out as the bad guy because he is a bad guy…..all he knows is that whoever stands across the ring from him, Dante Phoenix or Hellion, they will be victimised and eradicated from this business….he wants Hellion because he wants the removal of any excuse, he wants to prove that “monster or man” it doesn’t matter because neither is good enough to share a ring with him….but most importantly once he has demolished the mystique and removed the veil of “Hellion”….Phoenix will be forced to face reality….and reality isn’t that Marty Helms is better than him, that’s a given…..the reality is right here…

*Helms throws a red rose onto the grave and walks away as Dante Phoenix watches on with a burning rage. The commentators talk about how Helms just made this feud ten times more personal.

*We get a shot of Uryu Ishida and GazzyD arriving, separately at the arena. The commentary team talk about their upcoming match for the final spot inside the Elimination Chamber but also about how Ethan Shaw is here tonight and has promised to return Christy James so long as one of his rivals agrees to face him at Genesis. They debate on who should answer the challenge of Shaw before Fleur Michaels manages to stop Uryu for an interview.

*Uryu is clearly pre-occupied with all that is going on. He admits that the lure of being world champion is great, especially given his history with 6WF, and that the ultimate goal of his career is to be able to say he won the big one but he also states that some things are more important than selfish pursuits. Uryu says that he heard what Shaw said last week but he still doesn’t rest any easier knowing that Christy is being held captive. Ishida doesn’t want to give a definitive answer but admits that he will not hesitate to “right his own wrongs” if given the opportunity. He says that this chapter with Shaw needs to reach a closure point. When asked about Gazzy, he says he can’t answer the questions on behalf of anyone else but he does understand the anger and frustration that Gazzy is feeling. When asked how that will play out during their match Uryu says he doesn’t know, he hasn’t spoke to Gazzy, but he guesses that time will tell all.

*We get a split screen of Charles Kramer giving some final instructions to Johnny Oko and Vortex whilst Perfect Jack and Daniel Reilly are going through their final preparations. The commentators hype up this potential classic as we hear Reilly telling PJ that he knows they are leaving Genesis as tag champions. Reilly is brimming with confidence as he leaves the dressing room. PJ’s smile falters slightly as he applies eyedrops to his injured eye and then follows his partner to ringside.

6CW Proving Grounds Results (Genesis Go Home Show) Empty Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results (Genesis Go Home Show)

Post by JJJohnson Thu 11 Mar 2021, 2:12 pm

Bout 2
6CW Tag Team Tournament
Revolution vs The Empire

*Both teams are introduced and we get old school highlights of Revolution’s glory days as well as Oko & Vortex’s run in 6WF. Charles Kramer has accompanied the members of The Empire to ringside as the commentators debate on how he will factor into this contest.

*Reilly starts out with Johnny Oko and after some choice words from both it is Reilly that strikes first with a vicious backhand chop to knock Oko down. Oko gets back up and Reilly rallies with a series of right hands before whipping him off the ropes. Oko slides through Reilly’s legs on the comeback and kicks up to his feet but then eats a running clothesline to take him down.

*Reilly drags Oko up into a straight suplex before tagging in PJ. Jack catapults over the ropes and lands an elbow to the chest but only scores a quick two count. Jack targets the back with clubbing shots and pulls Oko up into a stiff backbreaker before grabbing his legs. Jack looks for the figure four but Oko kicks him into the corner, where PJ’s head collides with the turnbuckle. Vortex tags in and he squashes Jack in the corner with a running back splash. Jack falls into a seated position. Vortex prepares for a “stink face” but instead chooses to charge in with a brutal splash to PJ’s head (ala Umaga) as the commentators talk about PJ’s head injuries. Jack manages to kick out at two.

*Vortex drags Jack up and lands a headbutt that sags him into the ropes. PJ comes back and Vortex looks for a Samoan drop but PJ sunset flips over and tries to drag his opponent down into a pin but VX is too strong. Vortex leaps into the air and looks to squash Jack underneath him but PJ rolls away in time. Jack manages to make the tag to Reilly. They wait for Vortex to get up and double team him with punches before whipping into the corner. Vortex tries to fire back out with a double clothesline but they duck him and land a double neckbreaker. Oko tries to get involved but Reilly punches him off the apron. PJ goes up high and lands an elbow drop before Reilly flies from the opposite corner with a frogsplash but Vortex manages to kick out at two.

*Reilly stalks Vortex and wills him up. He attempts the RKO but Vortex catches him and throws him across the ring. Vortex beckons Reilly back up and scoops him onto his shoulders for the “V-X Bomb” but Reilly drops off the back and counters with an inverted headlock backbreaker. Reilly grabs one of Vortex’ huge legs and applies an anklelock as his opponent screams in pain. Vortex tries to drag himself closer to the ropes but Reilly’s grip is tight. Vortex seems to be contemplating tapping out when Oko catapults back in and drills Reilly with a midair DDT (ala Johnny Gargano).

*Vortex tags Oko in and he takes Reilly down with the “Tic-Tac-Toe” three kick combo and then drops him again with a spinning heel kick as he rises. Oko beckons Reilly back up and looks for the “K-Oko” kick but runs straight into a spinning powerslam from Reilly. Reilly crawls for the corner and looks to make the tag but CK distracts the referee. Reilly makes the tag but the referee doesn’t see it and forces PJ back to the corner. Vortex gets in the ring and drags Reilly back to the centre before leaping into a huge splash on top of him. Oko takes back over and heads to the top rope before landing the “Kamikaze moonsault” but PJ breaks it up.

*The Empire taunt PJ and then Oko ushers Reilly up. He scoops him up for a “Michinoku driver” but Reilly drops off the back and shoves his opponent toward the ropes, where he collides with Vortex. Oko comes back around and Reilly flips him into a fallout neckbreaker (ala Randy Orton). Reilly crawls for the corner and this time he manages to make the legal tag.

*PJ storms the ring and he dodges Oko’s attack before launching him with a huge release German suplex. Vortex attempts to blindside Jack but misses the target and Jack shows great strength to land another German suplex. Oko gets back up and eats a hat-trick of overhead belly to belly suplexes. Vortex is then dropkicked in the knees and Jack applies a single-legged Boston Crab as Reilly grabs the other leg for an anklelock. Vortex is screaming in pain but the commentators point out he isn’t the legal man. Eventually they release on the threat of disqualification and Vortex rolls from the ring in agony.

*PJ and Reilly turn back on Oko as he gets up. They deliver clotheslines in the corner and then lift Oko up high to deliver a ring-shaking double suplex. The referee orders Reilly from the ring as PJ sets up for the finish. He waits for Oko to rise and then drills him with the “Perfect” Slam. The three count is a definite until CK places Oko’s foot on the bottom rope.

*PJ thinks he has the match won but the referee points to the foot on the ropes. Reilly drops to the outside to confront CK but is then clattered from behind by Vortex, who is hobbling. PJ runs across and baseball slides into Vortex, knocking him down. Johnny Oko is back up and and he catapults over the ropes for a crossbody but PJ moves and sends Oko crashing into Vortex.

*PJ throws Oko back in the ring and follows. Oko looks for the “K-Oko” from nowhere but misses and eats five straight German suplexes. PJ scrambles to his feet and applies the figure four lock as the crowd go wild. Oko is screaming in agony and has no choice but to tap out but Charles Kramer distracts the referee once again.

*PJ gets up and he grabs Kramer by the shirt and launches him over the ropes into the ring. He prepares to attack but then Vortex runs in on the blindside. PJ sidesteps and Vortex crushes CK in the corner. PJ drags Vortex in for the “Perfect” Slam but is laid out by the “K-Oko”. The referee counts but Reilly breaks it up before the three.

*Reilly checks on PJ and then he dodges Vortex’s attack and drills him with the RKO out of nowhere. Reilly runs at Oko but is backdropped over the top rope onto the apron. Oko swivels and aims a shot at Reilly but it’s ducked and Reilly guillotines him across the ropes. Oko staggers back and PJ rolls him up but only gets a two count.

*They scramble back up and PJ catches Oko’s foot before nailing a dragon screw. PJ tags in Reilly. Reilly grabs Oko’s foot and applies the anklelock. Oko scrambles for the ropes but Reilly drags him back and cranks up the pressure. Oko looks on the verge of tapping out but Vortex is back up. Reilly abandons the submission but is scooped into Vortex’s arms. The “Rupture” is imminent but PJ rushes back in and dropkicks Vortex’s knees from under him.

*PJ quickly grabs Oko but Oko responds with a rake of the eyes and it is immediately clear there is something wrong. PJ is yelling in pain and appears blinded before swinging out wildly with a right hand that knocks Reilly off of his feet!

*Vortex is back up and he drills PJ with the “Rupture” before both members of the Empire target Reilly. They scoop him up and score with the “No win, no fee” combination for the three count to advance to the finals at Genesis.

*The commentary team talk about the eye injury of Perfect Jack and how it must have still been a huge factor because one shot from Oko caused him to lose his sight. The Empire are on the outside celebrating with Charles Kramer, who is winded, as both members of Revolution are shown recovering from what just went down. The debate rages on about what is next and if Reilly will be angry with PJ’s failure to disclose the extent of his injury. The Empire will now rest up and watch the second semi-final to find out who they will face for the tag titles at Genesis.

6CW Proving Grounds Results (Genesis Go Home Show) Empty Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results (Genesis Go Home Show)

Post by JJJohnson Thu 11 Mar 2021, 2:20 pm

*Liam Wood is backstage with Timothy Allen. Wood is sporting the bruises of last week’s attack via The Death Squad and Jimmy Phillips but he’s fired up. He isn’t interested in claims that he is being drawn on two different battle fronts and assures us that there is plenty of him to go round. He warns The Death Squad about getting involved in his business, citing what he did to Varyag months ago, and promises that Jimmy Phillips’ five minutes of fame will end at Genesis when he finally faces an opponent in his prime. Wood says we are within touching distance of Night of Glory and he has every intention of being a headline act at the grandest stage. Tim Allen asks about Emmy and whether she is concerned. Wood says he has no intention of putting her through any more torment but she understand that this is his life and he will never be satisfied unless he’s main eventing shows. Wood says Genesis is an apt name because this is the beginning of a new chapter in his career.

*We get a look at a clearly disappointed Revolution following their defeat. Perfect Jack is angry at himself and after a few moments he apologies to Reilly for his error and not disclosing how bad his eye injury was. Reilly admits he is frustrated but there was enough in the performance to tell him they have a big future ahead. After some persuasion PJ agrees and it looks like Revolution is here to stay. The Parasite Killers interrupt and mock Revolution for their loss. There is plenty of tension between both teams as Reilly tells PK to concentrate on their own match and McManus advises them to watch a real team in action, the next 6CW Tag Team Champions.

*Now inside the Wolf Gang HQ and Robin Reborn is giving Ojore/Drake the silent treatment. After a few moments he begins a tirade about how they are fast becoming a laughing stock in 6cw and how Ojore and Drake are not fit to carry this movement forward. Reborn points to Night of Glory and says by July they must be in a position of undoubted power and ready to make a statement otherwise this has all been for nothing. He says the Elimination Chamber and winning the 6WF Championship is their platform and failure is no longer an option. He asks Ojore and Drake to seriously consider whether they believe they can make that happen. They contemplate his question for a moment and then agree that they can. Reborn tells them that he hopes they are right because if he doesn’t win at Genesis then there will serious consequences that cannot be undone.

6CW Proving Grounds Results (Genesis Go Home Show) Empty Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results (Genesis Go Home Show)

Post by JJJohnson Thu 11 Mar 2021, 2:21 pm

*Renier Grohl is sat in his office when GazzyD enters. Gazzy doesn’t want excuses or to be fobbed off. He talks about his and Christy’s dedication to 6CW over the years and it is a disgrace that the Council have allowed this to happen, for his wife’s safety to be compromised in such a serious manner. Grohl says he understands but Gazzy doesn’t think he does. Gazzy says he knows this business and what it entails but his wife has been hostage for a fortnight now and an invisible line has been crossed. He talks about potential legal action or even walking away from the company. He also says his third option is to destroy 6CW from the inside out and make sure there is no show unless he gets his wife back. Grohl looks concerned by all of the options and assured Gazzy he is going to make some calls and get this sorted tonight. Gazzy says he wants Ethan Shaw to pay for what he has done because they could have had a fight anytime but taking Christy is something he will never forgive. Grohl reaches for the phone when we see Ethan Shaw entering the ringside area on the tv in Grohl’s office.

*Grohl is frozen, phone in midair, as Gazzy glares at the screen. Shaw gets a mic and says he has Christy here tonight and she is safe. He is a man of his word and she will be returned when either Gazzy or Uryu accepts his challenge at Genesis, he is curious who will fight for the ladies’ honour. Shaw reiterated that he isn’t deranged or psychotic but in war you do whatever you have to in order to earn the advantage and exploit your opponent’s weaknesses. Shaw says 6CW is a war zone and he is a trained hunter who is skilled in manipulating his prey. His goal is to be top dog and if that means kidnapping the wife of every man on the roster to get to the world title then he’ll do it because all is fair in love and war. You can hate him and his methods but he is damn effective. Case in point because he’s been here a couple of months and he’s got two of the very best at his beckon call whilst ready to rip each other apart at the same time. Shaw doesn’t care about his detractors, he cares about results and at Genesis he will get another result, against whoever wants to fall first. He says it doesn’t matter to him because both Uryu and Gazzy’s time is coming, but he knows there’ll be plenty of judgement on whoever fails to answer the call.

*There is a pause and then Uryu comes out to ringside as Shaw smirks. The commentators talk about how it’s a surprise that Uryu seems to be out here to get Christy back whilst Gazzy is making demands of management backstage. Uryu says he accepts Shaw’s challenge at Genesis and promises to make him pay for his misdemeanours. Shaw is amused but also impressed by Uryu’s ‘balls’. Shaw mocks Gazzy for crying to management whilst Ishida is actually out here like a man, Shaw says he can see why Christy has a soft spot for him and is ready to throw the marriage away.

*There is a roar as we see Grohl’s office door slam open and within seconds GazzyD storming out to ringside. Henry Lloyd is scathing of Gazzy’s grand gesture after Uryu has already stepped up. Jeff Thadeus says this is Shaw’s tactic and it is working a treat. He is manipulating Gazzy and Uryu and getting them to do his dirty work for him.

*Gazzy storms the ring but Shaw climbs up just in time and leaves Gazzy with Uryu. Shaw backs up the ramp with a smirk, resisting Gazzy’s call for a fight. Shaw gets on the mic and says Gazzy doesn’t call the shots. They had an agreement. He says Uryu just proved himself a bigger man than Gazzy ever could be and that his wife is watching that this whole thing backstage. He taunts Gazzy and says he can have his wife back, if she wants him, after he and Uryu fight for the final EC spot. Shaw is full of arrogance as he watches the stand off between Uryu and Gazzy inside the ring and the commentators hype what we have just seen and are about to see.

6CW Proving Grounds Results (Genesis Go Home Show) Empty Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results (Genesis Go Home Show)

Post by JJJohnson Thu 11 Mar 2021, 2:21 pm

Bout 3
Elimination Chamber Qualifier
GazzyD vs Uryu Ishida

*Ethan Shaw continues to watch from the outside as a referee climbs into the ring to get the match underway. Uryu is watching Gazzy, tentatively, and it is plain to see that both men have divided opinions on what is about to happen.

*Gazzy steps forward and he begins talking at Uryu, blaming him for what is happening. Uryu joins him in the centre of the ring and we can audibly hear him accepting his portion of the blame but he refuses to lighten Gazzy’s burden, telling him he needs to accept some responsibility of his own. This rankles with Gazzy and he slaps Uryu in the mouth, which draws a mixed reaction from the audience.

*Uryu is bent double from the impact as Gazzy continues to talk at him but then Ishida responds with a fierce boot to the midsection as the bell sounds to get the match underway. Uryu lashes at Gazzy’s chest with backhand chops and then looks for an Irish whip. Gazzy is able to reverse it but Uryu flies back with a slingblade takedown. They get back up and Uryu nails a big time dropkick that sends Gazzy back into the ropes before taking him down with a dragonrana on the comeback for a very close two.

*Ethan Shaw is enjoying himself as Gazzy battles off Uryu’s shoulders and floors him with a spinning heel kick. They get back up and Gazzy leans into a spinning back suplex (ala John Cena) before nailing a standing moonsault for a two. Gazzy pulls Uryu up for “Deep Impact” but Ishida swipes his legs and catapults him to the corner. Gazzy lands on the turnbuckle, leaps to the top rope and runs across before diving off with a tornado crossbody for another two.

*Gazzy sets up for the “history maker” but Uryu battles free and counters out with a backdrop. Uryu springboards off the ropes and looks for a tornado DDT but Gazzy keeps his feet and manages to throw Ishida back into the corner. Gazzy runs in but Uryu drives both feet up into his feet to stagger him back. Uryu climbs onto the second rope and leaps out to catch Gazzy with a huge implant DDT for a close fall.

*Uryu takes the arm of Gazzy and attempts the “Sunset” armbar but Gazzy spins free and then nails a side-effect neckbreaker. Gazzy to the corner and connects with a split-legged moonsault but Uryu finds the bottom rope with his boot.

*Gazzy is exasperated as he sets up for “Deep Impact” but Uryu swipes his legs again and this time bridges over the top. The referee is an inch from completing the three when Gazzy bridges back out. Gazzy swivels out and kicks Uryu in the gut before looking for the “history maker” but runs up the ropes to flip behind his opponent and scores with an inverted DDT for two.

*The commentators talk about how both men are doing Ethan Shaw’s job for him as he continues to watch the action. Uryu looks for a double armed DDT but Gazzy drives him back into the corner and then goes wild with furious punches and forearms until Ishida slumps in a heap. Gazzy backs up and then runs back in with a corner catapult dropkick (ala Jeff Hardy) to his seated opponent. Gazzy pulls Uryu away from the ropes and then climbs out onto the apron.

*There is a long staredown between Gazzy and Ethan Shaw before Gazzy attempts a springboard 450 splash but lands across Uryu’s knees. Uryu then nails a double armed DDT and heads for the top rope. The “Split Second” looks imminent when Ethan Shaw disappears backstage and then returns with Christy James, who has been tied to a chair.

*Uryu is distracted as Shaw wheels Christy down to ringside. Uryu seems to be contemplating his options with victory in sight but chooses to climb down to the outside to check on Christy. Shaw has stepped away with a smirk as Uryu peels the tape off of Christy’s mouth and begins trying to unbind her. Gazzy recovers and sees what is happening. He rolls to the outside and grabs Uryu from behind before launching him against the steel steps.

*Gazzy starts untying Christy now as the referee climbs out to check on Uryu, who is dazed. Ethan Shaw then lands a huge pump kick to Gazzy’s head and throws him back into the ring as Christy recoils in fear. Uryu pulls himself back into the ring before the count of ten.

*Ethan Shaw produces his trademark baseball bat from under the ring and decides enough is enough. He climbs inside to target both Uryu and Gazzy but they both suddenly roar to life with a double dropkick to take him off of his feet. Shaw gets back up as Uryu drops on all fours and Gazzy uses his back as a springboard for “poetry in motion” in the corner. Shaw is groggy as Uryu gets back up and superkicks him over the top rope to the outside.

*The commentators are stunned by Uryu and Gazzy working together when Gazzy suddenly grabs Uryu from behind and rolls him up with a handful of tights to steal the victory. Gazzy quickly rolls from the ring to finish freeing his wife as the commentators are lost for words on what has just happened. Christy is shaking with understandable fear but her eyes are also wide with surprise as her husband takes her hand and rushes her up the ramp, away from Shaw and Ishida.

*Ethan Shaw is rubbing his jaw, clearly furious at what just happened, Uryu is shown kneeling on the canvass nonplussed. GazzyD shoots a quick glance back down at ringside before rushing Christy through the curtain to the backstage area. The commentators talk about how Gazzy will take the final spot inside the Elimination Chamber and challenge for the 6WF Championship at Genesis whilst Uryu will deal with Ethan Shaw, which seems almost impossible to fathom. Everyone is clearly pleased that Christy James has been returned to safety but the debate continues as to how she will feel about her husband’s choices.

*Uryu is back on his feet when Ethan Shaw suddenly lashes the baseball bat across his spine, dropping him like a sack. Shaw chokes Uryu into almost unconsciousness with the bat across his windpipe before demanding a mic. Shaw tells Uryu that in real life the wannabe superheroes don’t get the girl and that his valiant efforts where all for nothing. He promises Uryu that Gazzy’s time will come but his own fate has been sealed at Genesis. He tells Uryu he won’t get the romance scene but he will get the spectacular demise because their match will be “Destination Elevation” and the whole world will remember Ishida’s twenty foot fall to inevitable doom.

6CW Proving Grounds Results (Genesis Go Home Show) Empty Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results (Genesis Go Home Show)

Post by JJJohnson Thu 11 Mar 2021, 2:23 pm

*The action shoots backstage immediately as Gazzy is trying to lead Christy toward the arena exit. Christy still looks dazed by what has just taken place as Timothy Allen tries to grab a word. Gazzy says he just wants to get his wife home and keep her safe. TA asks Christy is ok but Gazzy cuts him off and says she needs time and space after her ordeal, not to be harassed. TA tries to ask about what just happened but Gazzy shuts him down and says that the Ethan Shaw saga is over and he and his wife want to get back to their lives back track. He holds her hand and vows to keep her from harm, then promises to win the 6WF championship at Genesis for her. Christy doesn’t respond to this and Tim Allen looks on awkwardly at Gazzy’s proclamation. TA seems ready to ask about Uryu but Gazzy guides Christy to their car and they leave.

*Emmy is walking backstage when she finds her way barred by Jimmy Phillips. Phillips tries to chat Emmy up and tells her to get a real man in her life, the soon to be UK Champion and future world champion. He runs down Liam Wood but Emmy isn’t interested. Phillips taunts Emmy about her past with Costello and she’ll soon leave Wood again when he is no longer relevant, which will be after Genesis. Emmy tries to shove past but Phillips is too strong. Liam Wood then flies into the scene and attacks Phillips. They brawl and Wood seems to have upper hand before security pulls them apart. The commentary team hype up the match at Genesis as The Death Squad are shown watching on and a debate starts as to how they may factor during the UK Championship match.

*Fleur Michaels interview the Next Big Things ahead of their semifinal. Mike Hill praises all the teams in the tournament for helping to elevate tag team wrestling and put it back on the map but this is the business end now and only one team can leave Genesis with the titles. Ricky Nelson points to the first match with PK as one of the best tag matches in history and knows tonight will be no different but also knows that they have PKs number. There is no doubt in the minds of either man that they will win tonight and they will leave Genesis with the gold. Revolution interrupt and there is respect between both teams as PJ & Reilly wish their rivals good luck.

6CW Proving Grounds Results (Genesis Go Home Show) Empty Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results (Genesis Go Home Show)

Post by JJJohnson Thu 11 Mar 2021, 2:24 pm

*Back at ringside and Mike Masters makes a grand entrance with the GWF World Championship. Masters said it felt good to come back to 6CW during the “Open Gauntlet” and just remind everybody what a real superstar looks like. Masters says he has been treading water because GWF has been out of commission during the pandemic so it was a perfect opportunity to blow off some cobwebs but that was hardly 10% of his overall capabilities.

*Masters says in the five years since he left 6CW he has held this title for four of them and that his reign is greater than any in the history of this company. He’s back here tonight to give another demonstration of just how good he is, adding that he may even be up to about 20-30% now.

*Masters welcomes out three enhancement talents of unknown origin and he makes light work of all of them. He destroys the first one with a crunching “disaster” kick to the jaw before making the second tap out with a “last chancery” submission. The third puts up a little resistance but ends up eating a “Gringo Killer” on top of the first two. Masters makes the final pinfall with a foot on the chest as Henry Lloyd waxes lyrical on how good it is to see MM back in a 6CW ring.

*Masters is scathing on the level of opposition and acts as though he hasn’t even broken sweat. He understands that there is a match tonight between two supposed “world champions” but everyone just saw what a true champion looks like. Masters says the fans and the 6CW roster should be down on their knees thanking him for even gracing them with his presence, citing that they only deserve to see this version of him and that 6CW couldn’t afford 100% of Mike Masters. Masters says maybe one day soon he’ll come back and humble the “best that 6CW has to offer” just to prove that there is levels in this game and nobody belongs on his.

*Masters leaves the ring to jeers as the commentators are split in their praise and criticism. There is no doubting that Masters is still as talented as ever but Jeff Thadeus isn’t sure what he just proved. He says he is sure the 6CW Council will be more than happy for Masters to come back and face some real competition but until then he’s not buying the act.

*Marshall Murdoch is shown arriving at the arena as we get hype for the upcoming contract signing for the 6CW Championship match at Genesis

6CW Proving Grounds Results (Genesis Go Home Show) Empty Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results (Genesis Go Home Show)

Post by JJJohnson Thu 11 Mar 2021, 2:24 pm

Bout 4
Tag Team Title Tournament
The Next Big Things vs The Parasite Killers

*We get a recap of the “five star classic” between both teams at the World’s End PPV as the commentary team talk up the chances of surpassing that here tonight and warning that they will need to keep something in the tank for Genesis when they face The Empire.

*Jenny McManus once again accompanies PK to ringside whilst there is a huge ovation for the duo of Ricky Nelson and Mike Hill.

*Hill starts out with The Fanatic and he uses his speed and athleticism to allude the big man. Hill leaps onto the turnbuckle and flies back for an armdrag takedown but Fanatic is too strong to be pulled down. He ends up launching Hill back into the air and catches him in his arms but Hill counters out with a spinning DDT. Hill nails a “Hill Walk” standing press but is powered out on one.

*Hill quickly tags in Nelson and they take to opposite corners with tandem missile dropkicks but Fanatic powers out on one again. Nelson sets up for “Rapid Fire” but Fanatic fights free and lands a huge uppercut. He drills Nelson with a sideslam. Fanatic tags in McManus. McManus climbs onto Fanatic’s shoulders and comes off with a crossbody on Nelson for a two.

*McManus is aggressive with the punches on the ropes and looks for an Irish whip. Nelson baseball slides through his legs on the comeback and uses excellent leg strength to flip him over as he turns around. They scramble up and Nelson looks for a leapfrog but McManus catches him. Fanatic gets back in and McManus powerbombs him across an outstretched knee for a two count.

*Fanatic sets up for a chokeslam but Nelson lands ten quick kicks to the gut and then pokes through the eyeholes in his opponent’s mask to get free. Nelson tags in Hill and they target a leg each with brutal kicks until Fanatic drops down into a kneeling position. They back up in separate corners and nail the “Meet in the middle” combo but McManus breaks it up.

*Ricky Nelson attacks McManus and launches him to the outside as Hill goes to work on The Fanatic. Hill climbs onto the second rope and leaps from the corner with a bulldog takedown. He tags in Nelson and they connect with a double lionsault but Fanatic kicks out again.

*Nelson heads for the corner and he leaps off but Fanatic catches him by the throat and levels him with a chokeslam. Fanatic tags in McManus. McManus beckons Nelson up and gets him on his shoulders as Fanatic runs the ropes and connects with the “Boot of doom”. Three count is a certain but Hill breaks it up in time.

*Fanatic runs at Hill but Hill drops the top rope to send the big man over to the outside. Hill then runs the ring and flies out with a suicide dive but Fanatic catches him. Fanatic chokeslams Hill in the aisleway.

*McManus beckons Nelson up for the “Death Valley Driver” but Nelson fights off and lands “Rapid Fire” but Jenny McManus places her husband’s foot on the ropes. Nelson goes to the corner for the “New Next Big Move” but Fanatic pulls his partner out of the way to send Nelson crashing into the deck.

*PK swarm the ring and Fanatic launches Nelson through the air into the bridging suplex (Grand Amplitude). The three count is assured but Hill dives from nowhere to break it up at the very last second.

*McManus tackles Hill into the corner and stomps a mudhole before throwing him out to The Fanatic. Fanatic scoops Hill on his shoulders as McManus climbs onto the second rope. They look for the “Midnight Hour” but Hill fights off the back and shoves Fanatic into the corner so he collides with McManus and sends him crashing over the ropes to the outside. Hill then drops Fanatic with the “Over the Hill” but he isn’t the legal man.

*Fanatic rolls out of the ring and Jenny McManus is shown trying to gee up the PK. Hill and Nelson get back to their feet and they run to the ropes with an over-the-top senton splash from Hill on the Fanatic and suicide DDT from Nelson on McManus. They drag McManus back up and throw him into the ring.

*Hill back on the apron and he springboards in with an overhang neckbreaker takedown on McManus. He drags him up and lifts him into an electric chair position as Nelson comes off the top rope with a leg lariat variation of the “Hart Attack”. Three count incoming but Jenny McManus is on the apron to distract the referee.

*Nelson and Hill exchange looks and then Nelson grabs Jenny and kisses her, much to her disgust, to force her to drop down to the outside. Fanatic suddenly drags Hill under the bottom rope and launches him against the plexiglass barrier to take him out of play. Nelson is distracted and it allows James McManus to land a borderline shot to the stomach and the “River Wensum Plunge” for a nearfall.

*McManus bounces off the ropes and scores with a vicious knee trembler to Nelson’s skull before dropping down into full guard to pulverise him with right hands, which Henry Lloyd says is how a man should react when someone puts hands on his wife (take note GazzyD)…..The Fanatic climbs back up into the ring now and they drag Nelson to his feet. They get him up for the “Parasite Killer” (Magic Killer) but Mike Hill springboards back in with a front dropkick to McManus’ chest. The impact sends McManus staggering backward into The Fanatic and pushes the big man through the ropes to the outside.

*McManus scrambles back up and looks to attack Hill but he ducks the blow and lands a backheel kick to the gut that doubles his opponent up. Ricky Nelson is back to his feet and we get the “Total elimination” tandem spinning heel kicks to the face and back of McManus’ knees (old school ECW). The crowd go wild as Hill and Nelson go to opposite corners and we get the “Next Big Move” & “New Next Big Move”…..Nelson makes the cover as Hill baseball slides The Fanatic away from the ring and we have our winners.

*The commentators hype up another instant classic between these two teams and we have The Empire versus The Next Big Things at Genesis for the 6CW Tag Team Championships in what promises to be an amazing bout. Ricky Nelson and Mike Hill celebrate as we heard Jenny McManus’ shrieks of fury from ringside.

6CW Proving Grounds Results (Genesis Go Home Show) Empty Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results (Genesis Go Home Show)

Post by JJJohnson Thu 11 Mar 2021, 2:46 pm

*Uryu is backstage with Travis Sharp. Uryu is clearly in a bad way, a deep bruise already formed on his back, but he makes it clear that nothing will force him out of his match with Ethan Shaw at Genesis. Uryu is glad Christy is safe but refuses to be drawn into any kind of debate on her feelings on her husband, seemingly, choosing to challenge for the world title over fighting for her honour. Uryu brings it back to Born in Fire and says he was Shaw's first target so it is only right they face each other although Sharp isn't buying the sentiment. Uryu tries to distance himself from the "love triangle" and wants to focus on what is ahead. He admits trepidation in competing in the "Destination Elevation" match but he is fighting for anyone and everyone who has ever been made to feel like they've got nobody to back them up, so he cannot back down. He knows this is a potential "career ending" match but Shaw cannot be allowed to continue unpunished for his actions, he is playing games with people's lives and Uryu questions his honour in that motive. We get a shot of Ethan Shaw watching the interview from his own base and there is a drawing of the "Destination Elevation" structure on the wall behind him, a smirk plays on his lips.

*The scene changes and there is a commotion as The Parasite Killers are embroiled in a backstage argument with Revolution. Revolution have decided to return the favour in mocking PK's failure to seal their spot at Genesis. Security are keeping both teams apart as an agreement is reached for them to settle the score at the pay per view. The commentators talk up another fantastic addition to the show.

*Back out at ringside and there is a table and chairs in the ring. Renier Grohl is making the introductions as we prepare for the contract signings for the Undisputed 6CW Championship match at Genesis. The newly designed belt is placed in the middle of the table next to the contracts and then Marshall Murdoch makes his entrance to a thunderous ovation. Murdoch wastes no time in signing the contract as the commentators talk about how CJ is under his skin and there are serious doubts that Murdoch will be able to keep his cool at the pay per view. Murdoch looks at the new 6CW Championship and then he gets on the mic and says he wants his old belt, the one stained in his blood, because that is the title he won and it still rightfully belongs to him. He says CJ is stalking around claiming to be "world champion" but until he beats Murdoch he'll always be in his shadow, just like he has his whole career. He calls James out and tells him to bring "my belt".

*There is a long pause and then CJ is on the big screen in an unknown location. He says Marshall still doesn't get it, he doesn't call the shots anymore and he isn't in control. CJ wants to remove any reminders of a past that no longer exists to him and at Genesis he will do exactly that by ending Marshall Murdoch once and for all, putting him out of his misery the same way Murdoch put Hero down. But first he had to tie up soon loose ends. The camera pans out to a wide shot and we see that Zakky Spencer, Vlad, Xeres and Rapture have all been left brutalised in a darkened room. They all have their arms tied behind their backs and there is blood everywhere.

*CJ kneels down and shows that he has collected all of their "pendants" because they have been "set free". James refers to himself as "salvation" and promises to bestow the same gift upon Marshall at Genesis. He says Murdoch may have brought the Church to its knees but he left the foundations intact and now CJ will burn it to ashes.

*Murdoch is livid as he uproots the table, fury all over his face. CJ smiles as he tells Marshall that this is all on him, he is to blame for coming back and trying to take away James' moment of glory. James tells Murdoch that he will see him at Genesis.

*The screen goes off as Marshall continues to lose his cool. He launches the table and chairs from the ring as Renier Grohl scrambles for safety. The commentators talk about how there is no way Murdoch will be able to stay within the confines of the rules at Genesis and Henry Lloyd is now convinced that CJ is a "genius" and will undoubtedly leave the PPV as 6CW Champion.

6CW Proving Grounds Results (Genesis Go Home Show) Empty Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results (Genesis Go Home Show)

Post by JJJohnson Thu 11 Mar 2021, 2:56 pm

*Backstage and we get our first glimpse of the brand new 6CW Tag Team Championships, being displayed on a golden plinth. The Empire and The Next Big Things are present and accounted for. Both teams trade insults and there is a slight altercation when Vortex shoves Nelson back into Hill when he tries to confront Johnny Oko. Both teams vow to leave Genesis as the brand new champions as the commentators hype up the pay per view clash.

*Tyler Roth is with Travis Sharp. Roth says he is done talking about Charles Kramer. He has made it clear what he thinks and what happened back in Japan, pointing to CK's threats of a lawsuit as proof that he is telling the truth. He says under normal circumstances he'd probably respect a competitor like Karl Kramer and the attributes he possesses but his family association alone means that he will pay for his uncle's sins. Roth says that tonight will be the beginning of a long-standing suffering for the so-called "King" and it will end inside the Elimination Chamber at Genesis when he is dethroned. Roth guarantees he will be 6WF Champion. Robin Reborn and The Wolf Gang interrupt. Reborn warns Roth and Kramer that whilst they concentrate on ending each other, their own ignorance and arrogance will be their downfall when he claims the 6WF Championship for himself. Roth stares at Reborn/Ojore/Drake and smirks before walking away, leaving Reborn seething.

6CW Proving Grounds Results (Genesis Go Home Show) Empty Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results (Genesis Go Home Show)

Post by JJJohnson Thu 11 Mar 2021, 3:06 pm

*Marshall Murdoch is interviewed by Timothy Allen following what we saw at ringside. Murdoch addresses claims that he will be too "emotional" at Genesis and get disqualified, leading to him losing the 6CW Championship. He admits he is amped up and he knows CJ is playing mindgames to get under his skin but he claims there are plenty of other ways to hurt someone whilst staying within the rules. Murdoch says that being MMA trained gives him the advantage and he is going to enjoy humiliating Clarke James in a straight up wrestling match, proving without any doubt that he is superior, and that there are plenty of holds and submissions that will allow him to inflict untold amounts of pain, breaking each and every bone along the way. Murdoch thanks for CJ for showing his true self because the man he sees is not his brother, he doesn't recognise him, and that is going to make it so much easier to finish him at Genesis.

*Murdoch prepares to leave when he is ambushed by Clarke James. Murdoch tries to fight back but CJ smashes his head into a production case and then drops on top of him. It isn't apparent at first what CJ has in his hands but we see blood everywhere and then it becomes clear that he has been repeatedly stabbing Marshall in the forehead with a pen. CJ reaches into his pocket and produces a piece of paper, saying he just took this contract from Grohl's office. He dips his pen in a pool of Murdoch's blood and signs the contract before placing it on his rival's chest as medics rush in. The commentators are in shock as CJ tells Marshall he'll see him real soon and walks away.

*The commentators go through the final hype for the Genesis PPV as we get a rundown of the card. We then get a shot of Vortex and Johnny Oko arriving back at The Empire dressing room. Karl Kramer is all hype as Charles Kramer gives the final instructions for the upcoming main event.

Main Event
Falls Count Anywhere
King Karl Kramer vs Tyler Roth

*Tyler Roth is out first, dressed in street clothes, and he is ready to fight. King Karl Kramer is accompanied onto the stage by his uncle but Roth has seen enough and is already charging up the ramp to begin proceedings.

*Kramer tries to launch an attack but Roth blocks and quickly takes control with huge punches. He runs KK forward and launches him against the steel stage structure before throwing him into the 6CW announce desk and upending it as the commentators dart for safety.

*CK picks up the "sceptre" and is sneaking up for the attack when Roth swivels and confronts him. CK trips over himself as he rushes backstage and Roth gives chase.

*The cameras pick up on the action backstage and Roth has CK by the throat when KK re-appears and attacks from behind. He slams Roth, head-first, into a wall and then checks on his uncle. Roth staggers back up and Kramer nails a "Karnage" spinebuster on the concrete but only gets a two.

*KK grabs a trash can and he smashes it over Roth's back. He grabs a steel chain and wraps it around his fist. Roth is beckoned up and KK looks for "Kiss the ring" but Roth dodges it and we get a full nelson slam through a nearby table, leaving Kramer writhing in pain.

*Roth drags KK out of the wreckage and shows amazing power to flip him into a powerbomb position before launching him backwards into a huge panelled garage door, leaving the 6WF Champion in bits. The commentators talk about how both men's chances of winning the Elimination Chamber could be depleting by the second.

*Roth is ushering KK back up when Vortex and Oko attack from behind and beat him down. He tries to fight them off and succeeds in headbutting Oko away but then Kramer recovers and drives a production case right into Roth's stomach. Vortex scoops Roth in his arms and delivers a "Rupture" on top of the case.

*Charles Kramer is barking orders as KK begins to pull tables into the centre of the open-plan area. He has two side by side and places a third on top. They drag Roth up onto a raised platform above the tables and seem to be preparing for another triple-team "Karnage" when Mike Hill and Ricky Nelson enter proceedings to brawl with The Empire, kickstarting their upcoming issues at Genesis.

*Hill and Nelson manage to take Oko/Vortex away from the main fight but then James McManus and The Fanatic ambush them as a four on two assault ensues. Perfect Jack and Daniel Reilly then intervene as four of 6CW's premier tag teams brawl all over the arena.

*Roth and KK are left alone once more and Kramer seems to be preparing for a single-man "Karnage" when he looks up to see that Robin Reborn, Ojore and Drake have surrounded them. Roth staggers up and for a very brief moment he is united with Karl Kramer as they begin to brawl with the members of The Wolf Gang. KK manages to stagger away from the platform and stumbles away as his uncle comes hurrying over to him. They watch at The Wolf Gang start to grind down Tyler Roth.

*Jackson Jackson and Geoff Steel then appears and Steel spears Ojore off of the platform onto the concrete floor whilst Jackson Jackson shows off his matador skills. He beckons Drake toward him and then drops down out of the way as Drake soars over his head and collides with a stack of production equipment. Jackson throws more miscellaneous items on top of him for good measure.

*Robin Reborn continues to go to work on Tyler Roth but Roth suddenly roars to life and grabs Reborn around the throat with both hands. He delivers an almighty double-handed chokebomb from the five foot platform through the stack of three tables as Karl and Charles Kramer watch on.

*Charles Kramer wants his nephew to follow him as Roth climbs down off the platform but the 6WF Champion wants to fight. He charges at Roth and tackles him backward into a wall but Roth responds with clubbing shots to the back and then a thunderous knee to the stomach. Roth grabs the royal sceptre off the floor and holds it like a baseball bat. He prepares to swing at KK's head when Charles Kramer low blows him from behind.

*CK pleads with his nephew to see sense. Roth is already starting to get back up as CK has to drag his nephew toward the parking lot. We get an in-car camera show of both Karl and Charles Kramer climbing inside the vehicle before Tyler Roth smashes the windows out with the sceptre. Roth has his hand around KK's throat as Charles Kramer desperately starts the car and speeds away, leaving Roth in a fury.

*The commentators hype up what we have just seen and debate how that will manifest itself inside the Elimination Chamber and at Genesis as a whole. They wish us a goodnight and the show ends with Tyler Roth continuing to watch the Kramer's car disappear into the distance.
