Nadal and Golf
Well known that Nadal is a big fan of playing golf and it seems he got in a couple of rounds last week:
"The Spaniard is feeling refreshed after a short break at home in Majorca - including "two fantastic rounds of golf" - following his quarter-final defeat by Jo-Wilfried Tsonga at Queen's Club."
Found this and wondered....what do people think of his comments about McIlroy at the USO? lol

Nadal seems to be on the Mcllroy wagon lol. By the way does Nadal play golf with his left or right?

It's nice to see Nadal supporting a player who's had it hard but bounced back, very nice to see him say that that's how all the great champions respond, he would know more than most.

With his right. And he adjusts his pants every time before he takes a shot too.
But I must be missing something. What's with the lol's ??

Nadal seems strangely coy/embarrassed when he ends up admitting he has McIlroys number - made me smile a bit anyway.

Re: Nadal and Golf
He has been a fan of McIlroy for a while now and definitely not a fairweather friend.

Believe me - a 7 handicap is pretty useful

Re: Nadal and Golf
7 handicap.... was it Llendl who tried to take up golf after tennis? Makes me wonder if Nadal might try that when his body eventually wilts. Hes that kind of guy who needs a battle, so for him i don't think he'll be wanting to put his feet up when he retires.
