Royal Montrose

Just been accepted for the Royal Montrose Open on 10 th July, anybody played this historic course

Yes Dazzler, you're in for a treat. Very ordinary uphill par 4 to start, then you walk off the back of the green to the 2nd tee and the view along the beach will take your breath away. I've played it twice, terrific course.

only issue i have is medial damage to the knee, walking and excersing now and played 4 holes tonight so far without pain, against doctors advice though, hoping that i may be able to use a buggy

dazzler, don't foul your knee up and miss the next 606 day oot!

i knacked my anterior cruciate ligament which was seriously nasty. a friend did his medial quite recently and it seems to be a bit less serious given he was walking a few days after the op, whereas i was on crutches for a few weeks.

i think i advsed someone else on here to cycle as part of physio. no impact problems and helps keep things moving. but always refer to your doc (even if you don't listen to them )
