10 Reasons Why Cena Sucks

Why cena and how he's booked(for the marks) grinds my gears.

1. He can't wrestle

I.e Can't throw punches and all the other moved he can't perform correctly

2. He doesn't sell

I.e He takes beats for 20 mins and wins in 2.

3. Promo work

I.e His mike work is crineworthy,he doesn't deliver it well

4. Trying to be funny

I.e When he on the stick he throws in some cheesy lines which half the audience dont get.

5. His merch

I.e the shirts,hats,armbands all cheesy

6. Hes Superman

I.e he beats everyone and majority of the time Buries them

7. He's homophobic

I.e when doing a promo he always references to gay people

8. Doesn't put people over

I.e Nobody comes out of a feud any better than before starting a feud

9. Acting skills

I.e He Trys and conveys emotion and story telling but has epic fails

10. Psychology

I.e Doesn't even know the meaning,zero psychology

But at least he works hard and nobody else does,I mean who else could fill his boots.

I wouldnt agree with the promo bit, he is one of the best talkers in the business. When he's not fed rubbish from the writers. Case in point his rapping stuff, his stuff over the past few weeks.

He can wrestle, is he the best no. Is he the number one in the number one company, yes. I think he doesnt get the praise he should do.

He gets booked to look like superman and not put people over, that isnt his fault.

He is definitely not homophobic, thats a stupid comment

Typical IWC rubbish, sorry mate. I think you could do a 10 reasons why (enter name) sucks about everyone on the roster. Including CM Punk.

1- Agreed.
2- It's the way he's booked.
3- Disagree. His role in the Vince / Punk / Cena promo last night was exceptional.
4- Agree. His 'comedy' promos are awful.
5- Merchandise is not his fault - it's not like he designs his own t-shirts / armbands / caps...
6- Again, that's the way he's booked, and follows standard WWE Babyface booking. Hogan was the same. Triple H was the same.
7- He's scripted to say such things. Punk and michael Cole also have said similar things in a non-scripted, public forum.
8- Edge. Cena made Edge a legit main-eventer in their extended run. R-Truth currently is making progress. Which by my reckoning, is two more Randy Orton and Batista managed between them.
9- Agreed.
10- Agreed.

Sorry but all the reasons above are true. I don't care if its how he's booked,he still sucks for these reasons.

Basically saying to miz/riley should get a room is not being homophobic?
He's rubbish on the stick,the odds what he uses the tone of his voice and the delivery is poir.

Punks promo blew him away twice last night.

Booking decisions are not Cena's fault - do you think he's going to ask Vince or whoever to change the booking becasue he doesn't want to win?

Merchandise is not Cena's fault. he's gets paid a royalty, so again, do you think he'll ask that they don't release a new t-shirt... in red? If people stopped buying them, WWE would stop releasing them. Not Cena's fault at all.

I competely agree that his comedy promo's are cringeworthy, but his serious promo's match up to anyone else in the company. If you can't appreciate that, then you clearly cannot judge anything in wrestling accurately!

all above still doesn't detract from the fact his I'm screen character sucks.

he is wearing that merch,he is not selling them moves,he does cut rubbish promos,he does beat 90% of his opponents and yes he does get booked to do these things thus making he on screen character is sh@t.

doesn't if the company books him this way.

End of the day Cena is fed sh!t from the company. Not the guy's fault. If the WWE weren't so PG and actually cut Cena some slack and give him something decent.

It is good CM Punk is getting something decent, by why they can't give Cena the same is beyond me.

So what do you think when CM Punk / Austin / Rock / DX come to the ring in their own merchandise then? I fail to see how you can use the fact his t-shirts sell as a reason to hate him! Do you also hate Austin and that cursed '3:16' thing he launched?

Also, I'm slightly mystified by that last sentence - what doesn't if the company books him this way? You'll start liking him if he loses more? As for the 'He beats 90% of his opponents!'... he's a main event babyface. of course he'll win more than he loses. Look at Batista - couldn;t stop winning as a good guy, goes down the fabled heel path, and he did more jobs than a hooker at a Premiership football club's Christmas party.

I've always defended Cena because he's great at what he's there to do.

And the past few weeks he's ramped his style up something special to keep up with Punk.

(And around Wrestlemania, I don't care how big The Rock is, how much people love him, and how "spine tingling" his return was - I can't stand that people can't admit that Cena beat him in the promos)

10 Reasons Why Cena Sucks

1. I agree with this. His in ring skill is terrible. Nothing more to add to this.

2. I also agree here. It doesn't matter how he is booked he should still at least sell a move correctly. If he doesn't it doesn't just make him look bad but also the other guys he's wrestling.

3. His promo works certainly needs more work. He just states the Obvious and comes across as cheesy.

4. The kids understand. That's all that matters.....

5. I've seen better merchandise sure.

6. He does have a lot of wins but again this is to send the kids home happy. Not his fault personally if he's booked to win but he could sell the match more.

7. He wishes he was gay. That is why also kids find gay jokes funny.

8. Maybe not but Punk as a example certainly is coming of better is Cenas recent feud.

9. I agree. His movies suck to but hey a guy's gotta make a living.

At the end of the day I don't hate cena but he does nothing no other guy could do if there Vinces golden boy. He's just there for the kids and that's why he acts like one and says things a kid would say. I mean just look at his in ring gear. That's somthing a 12 year old chav would ware. Most the people here defending him are no doubt kids. The rest well, I'm not sure what they are. Drool
