Whilst it's a good offer, I think the partnership of Jags + Ferdi works well (especially with Ferdi having a great season).

Humm. I see your point. But Jags hasnt/isnt having the best season.
Where as Philippe Mexès & Diego Godin are having good season and they are different types of CBs, Mexes being the more quicker/tight man marking type and Godin being the beast.

Ill level with you, I would of played them last week as that partnership would be been better than Jones & Evans, but Ive got a Man United back line. Rio & Evans would be perfect for my team.
Whilst yes if you sell him to me your essencially giving me the CB's im after but I am also giving you 2 good CB's. Also based on TM you are getting double Rios worth. Which only means in terms of money wise in this league its a very good offer.

Rio - £8.4m
Mexes - £7m + Godin - £10.5m = £17.5m
