As well as the tactical instructions you are allowed 2 extra lines of a team talk to motivate your players, show your worth not just for tactics but how you build players up for the game!

Week 1:

Carling FC v AC ALSOAM

Starting XI (4-2-3-1):

Injury: Palacios

Starting XI
1. Joe Hart
2. Mathieu Debuchy
3. Pablo Armero
4. Nigel De Jong
5. Toby Alderweireld
6. Phil Jagielka
9. Falcao
10. Erik Lamela
11. Hernanes
17. Jonathan Biabiany
22. Liam Bridcutt

Subs: 7. Lucas, 12. Cristian Zapata, 13. Jose Manuel Pinto, 15. Kurt Zouma, 16. Martin Montoya, 18. Coutinho, 20. Maxi Lopez

Hart
Debuchy - Alderweireld - Jagielka - Armero
De Jong - Bridcutt
Biabiany - Lamela - Hernanes
Falcao

England's number 1 Joe Hart in goal, he will command his area like he does, and be alert to any long shots.

The full backs Debuchy and Armero will have to remember their defensive duties, but be able to push forward to support the wingers when in possession.

The centre backs Alderweireld and Jagielka will need to be aware of the attacking threat of Damiao, but maintain position and don't be led out of defence by Carling's players dropping deep.

The defensive midfielders De Jong and Bridcutt will be the ones to follow the Carling players who drop deep and be responsible for not only the threat from midfield, but for covering the full backs if they are out of position and being smart when in possession.

The attacking midfielders Biabiany, Lamela and Hernanes will be primarily supplying Falcao with chance after chance. Biabiany and Hernanes can beat the full back and get a cross into the box, or swap wings to cut inside and keep the full backs guessing rather than knowing.

Erik Lamela will be behind Falcao, and the link from De Jong and Bridcutt in midfield. Lamela can pass to either winger, pass to Falcao, dribble, shoot and just keep possession if there are no options with De Jong and Bridcutt both exceptional on the ball.

Falcao will do what he can to get onto the end of crosses and passes, Falcao will likely have two defenders to worry about but I want him to stick to one defender, be one v one with that defender and turn him, roll him, spin him, do what it takes to lose him, and then his natural finishing skills will come out.

Subs, 70 mins.

(If winning): Biabiany off, Zapata on; Falcao off, Maxi Lopez on; Alderweireld off, Zouma on; Zapata will join De Jong and Bridcutt in defensive midfield, Maxi Lopez replaces Falcao upfront and Zouma replaces Alderweireld, both like for like. We go from 4-2-3-1 to 4-3-2-1.

(If drawing): Falcao off, Maxi Lopez on; Biabiany off, Coutinho on; Debuchy off, Montoya on; All three changes like for like, but with fresh ideas and fresh legs. Montoya is also a bit better at attacking from right back than Debuchy so we'd have an outlet for counter attacking.

(If losing): Bridcutt off, Maxi Lopez on; Biabiany off, Coutinho on; Debuchy off, Montoya on; Lopez to join Falcao upfront as we sacrifice one of the DM's to have an extra body in attack. Coutinho replaces Biabiany like for like, and Montoya replaces Debuchy like for like but Montoya is better at attacking from full back so gives us an extra outlet. We go from 4-2-3-1 to 4-1-3-2.

Manager's note: It is important we get off to a good start in this league, it's a tough league and with no disrespect to Carling FC, we will have tougher games this season, so if we are to do well we need to pick up points from games like this. I will accept not winning, but I cannot accept not trying. Give 100% and stick to the gameplan, and the result should come.

CUNNING CANARIES FC v Straight Edge United

Tactics for CUNNING CANARIES FC

Team News: Charlie Adam is injured for this match

Formation : 4-4-1-1
Starting XI:
GK – John Ruddy (Vice Captain)
RB – Kyle Naughton
CB - Brede Hangeland (right side)
CB – Daniel Agger (left side)
LB – Jose Enrique
CM – Lucas Leiva (deeper of the two)
CM – Yohan Cabaye (more advanced of the two)
RM – Alex Oxlade Chamberlain
LM – Anthony Pilkington
CAM – Craig Bellamy
ST – Demba Ba

Subs:
Julian Speroni
Marc Tierney
Ashley Williams
Youssouf Mulumbu
Grant Holt (Captain)
Aaron Wilbraham
James McClean

Team instructions:
• Ruddy will try to play out from the back, favouring going through the left side of Agger and Enrique.
• When we get the ball we work down the wings with both full backs being allowed to overlap if necessary.
• Get good quality crosses into the box with the opposite winger coming in back post to support Ba and Bellamy.
• Lucas will be the deeper of the two CM’s looking to disrupt the play, specifically of Eriksen if he plays.
• Look to get the ball into Bellamy and Ba’s feet and allow them to bring the wide midfielders into play.
• When defending we will have two banks of four with the wide midfielders doubling up on their wingers.
• Bellamy will come back in to make it a midfield five if needed.
• Look to counter attack with the pace down the wings and then find a killer ball to Ba.
• Cabaye will be on free kicks and Bellamy on corners. From their corners we shall man mark with our two CB’s picking up their two tallest players.

Substitutions and Tactical changes:

Subs (Winning) – (60 mins) Mulumbu for Cabaye and McClean for Pilkington.
(75 mins) Holt for Ba
Stay with 4-4-1-1 formation. Carry on but just keep it tight in defence with the full backs more restricted.

Subs (Drawing) – (60 mins) Holt for Bellamy and formation change to 4-4-2 with Holt and Ba up front.
(75 mins) McClean for Pilkington and Williams for Hangeland. Still 4-4-2. Start to go more direct to Holt and Ba who will then bring the wide men into play.

Subs (Losing) - (60 mins) Holt for Pilkington with Bellamy moving to LM and Chamging formation to 4-4-2.
(75 mins) Wilbraham for Oxlade Chamberlain and Mulumbu for Bellamy and a formation change to 4-3-3 with Holt, Ba and Wilbraham up front and Lucas, Cabaye and Mulumbu in midfield. Now go long ball peppering their defence with the midfield pushing onto any loose balls.

Team Talk:
Make sure we work as a unit in defence and that you execute your jobs well. In attack go down the wings and look for the cross, if it’s not there go back and start again. On the counter attack go at full speed and you will cause the trouble.
This is the first step you guys make as a team and it could be the start of something special. The question is, Do you want this season to be special? Give it your all lads, good luck.

Week 1: Shuntingsheep F.C v Real Ale Sociedad

Injury:Gregory van der Wiel

Team:

--------------------------Given--------------------------------
Adriano----------Huth-------------Heitinga------------Arne Riise
------------Nolan---------Barry (c)------Pjanic-----------------
-----Vargas-----------------------------------Agbonlahor------
------------------------Adebayor------------------------------

Subs: Robinson, Dunne, Nolito, Johnson, Rodallega

Team Talk: We are against ShuntingSheep, a team made up of unlikely faces. Don't underestimate them and play our own game. Ade, I am looking for a good dominating performance from you. Barry, keep the team ticking over.

Tactics:

Given: Be strong in the air; lots of crosses will come in. When with the ball, release our FB's and take advantage of our width.

Huth/Heitinga: Be aware of balls played behind you. Play a deep line to combat through balls to a lone front man. Huth to man-mark the CF.

Adriano/Arne Riise: Use your pace to support our midfield and give us added width. Break forward to support our two wide wingers on the outside, as they plan to go on the inside. Barry will be covering your runs, but get back quickly when without the ball and keep the deep line that our CB's hold; ready to be released again when we get the ball back.

Barry: Play CDM and dictate the play with his passing range. Play the simple ball to the guys beside him to kickstart our attacks. Barry to never go beyond the centre circle. Watch for counter attacks if our FB's are forward.

Nolan/Pjanic: Nolan to sit beside Barry for the most part to give our midfield strength. Push forward but never beyond Pjanic - you are his outlet. Pjanic to make runs from midfield to support Adebayor up front and harass their CDM.

Vargas/Agbonlahor: Look to come on the the inside and probe the gap between FB and CB. Look for our FB's outside of you - make runs into the box to support Ade when you give the FB's the ball. Use your pace to take on the FB/CB's and shoot on sight.

Adebayor: Be powerful and outmuscle the CB if one sits on your shoulder. Hold the ball up and look for Vargas/Agbonlahor, so you can get into the box. When without the ball, walk up to the centre circle to draw the CB's out, ready for our fast counter attack to exploit the gap they leave. Be aware for rebounds from shots from our wingers, and crosses coming in from our FB's.

Subs after 70mins: Johnson FOR Vargas

Johnson to give us more creativity on the right. Get crosses in for Adebayor and Agbonlahor coming in from the left. Pjanic and Nolan to push up more and shoot from range if we need a goal.

Week 1: Shuntingsheep F.C v Real Ale Sociedad
Injury - Sakho

Baumann
Caceres-Varane-Rami(c)-Monreal
Vidal-Strootman-Tiote
Großkreutz--------------D.Mertens
Pazzini

Ahamada, Muniesa, Bacinovic, Lodeiro, Cuenca, Forlan,Saha

keep the ball on the ground and play through them, use wingers and target the fullbacks to get to the bye line and cross in...

Baumann make yourslef as big as possible and close down the forward to reduce the angle they have to shoot at, be confident when coming from crosses and clear what you cant catch.

Fullbacks defende first and foremost, keep the back line tight and only attack when in no danger

Fullbacks stay close to wingers and force them outside and away from any danger, dont dive in and let them get free.

Rami man mark the striker and force him away from goal, stay tight and dont allow him to turn.

Varane is spare, watch open spaces and for any through ball to intercept any danger, help other defenders around him.

Tiote watch the most forward running mid for them and close him down early forcing him to play early mis placed passes, Stay back!

Vidal help break up play and get into the faces of them, once ball is gone get up and support Pazzini.

Strootman also helps break it up and gets forward. Vida/Strootman must take charge and get the ball to the forward 3.

Grosskreutz and Mertens suport Pazzini as much as they can, drive down the wings at the fullbacks and look for those inside to pass and go, using triangle to break the line of defence and get the cross in. If supportd by fullback play them down the line and cut into box. Both have good shots so cut in and have a go.

Both wingers watch their fuillbacks attacking and keep there attacks to a minimum.

Pazzini stay up top at all times, on toes always moving about trying to take his marker away to create open spaces for himself or others. If shot not on lay off for Strootman/Vidal etc coming up to support.

Close down everything quickly and get the ball rolling forward, one twos to break there defense

Captain - Adil Rami
Penalties - Pazzini
Corners/FKs - Wingers

Subs:-

70 Mins:-

Losing:-
Saha & De Bruyne > Strootman & Grossgreutz - 4-4-2, Saha go up top with Pazzini and Bruyne RW
Winning:-
Bacinovic > Strootman - sit behind Tiote and Vidal in a more defensive role

Bilbao Baggins v Viva City

Injury: Andy Polo
Captain: Esteban Cambiasso

De Gea
Abate---Hummels--Alex---Maxwell
Cambiasso---Rodwell
Lennon---Gotze-----Nene
Sturridge

Subs: Garay, Ronaldinho, Alves, Coates, Cisse

Team talk
Time to make a statement, time to set a benchmark, let's put an early marker down on our intentions for this league!
I want passion, I want intensity, I want pride in your shirts and I want 3 points.

De Gea: Be confident, be loud, get your hands on the ball early and get your body behind it, communicate with the centre backs to protect you.

Abate & Maxwell: Defend primarily, look to keep wingers on the outside and time tackles, if they're fast wingers tackle as they get the ball and muscle them out of the game.

Hummels & Alex: Probably Hunterlaar upfront so if that's the case Hummels to nullify his threat which he did in RL this season. Alex to pick up wingers coming through channels and AMs.

Cambiasso & Rodwell: Boss the centre of the park and dictate the game! Read the game and distribute the ball into threatening positions.

Gotze: Playmaker for the team, pick the ball up and run at the Defence, look to target the left hand side of the pitch as they don't have a comfortable left back.

Nene & Lennon: Lennons speed against a player out of position should be key and will be our main point of attack, look to get balls to him often. Both wingers to protect fullbacks when needed.

Sturridge: Target Vertonghen, he's a centreback that likes to come forward so look to pounce when he's drifted upfield, drag him out of position especially if he's on the left.

Subs
If losing/drawing at 65m: bring on Cisse & Ronaldinho for Rodwell and Nene, use the creative skills of Ronaldino and added goal threat to push forward.
if winning at 80m: Replace Alex with Garay and shore up the defence for the last 10 mins.

Set pieces
Hummels, Alex and Rodwell to all go into the box to use their height to create an aerial threat. Cambiasso and Rodwell to protect De Gea on defensive set pieces.

Bilbao Baggins v Viva City

Kameni
Azpilicueta---Vertonghen---Lescott---Bastos
Pirlo-----Javi Garcia
Valbuena------Hamsik------Park
Huntelaar

Subs
Zanetti
Menez
Gonzalez
Montolivo
Matudi
Pizzaro

Team Talk: First game of the season we won't go all out attack like some teams have take our time increase the tempo gradually Pirlo can do this Bilbao have no one in midfield to dictate the game. Pressure De Gea into mistakes one fumble and his confidence willshatter.

Kameni: Stay big and tall as long as you can, parry shots away from danger always communicate. Try to catch the ball but if you can't punch it away.

Azpilicueta defend first attack when it's appropriate watch the ball don't dive in keep the winger on his weaker foot or away from goal.

Lescott pick up thier main striker you are strong and quick read the danger intercept keep goal side and reduce the target of goal.

Vertonghen pick up any Gotze if he evades the midfield, show him outside weaker foot be strong in the tackle and try to jockey him.

Bastos attacking has the pace to keep up with Lennon who lacks the final ball attack him make him drop backwards if you get forward Park who has unlimited stamina will cover for you.

Pirlo dictate the game keep the ball moving always look for players making runs work with Garcia when defending. Dictate the tempo fast or slow depending on what we need.

Garcia watch Gotze runs pick him up when he is in your zone, get tackles in close oppoisiton down make them go backwards.

Valbuena get down the wing inside and outside vary it, Maxwell does not have discpline and Walcott has shown he gets beaten by quick players easy.

Hamsik AM get between their midfield and defence look for Huntelaar making runs or get a shot in the most attacking.

Park help Bastos when he gets forward keep running up and down get forward into the box you can score in big games.

Huntelaar target man keep it simple pass and move don't stay static you showed the other day you are great in the air bully De Gea has little confidence.

75 MIN IF LOSING

Manager's note: We got off to a great start last week with 3 points, it's a tough league but we want to continue our momentum against Straight Edge United. I will accept not winning, but I cannot accept not trying. Give 100% and stick to the gameplan, and the result should come.

Week 2:

Real Ale Sociedad v Viva City

Injuries: Jack Rodwell and Robert Huth

Formation:

---------------------------Given------------------------------
Montoya---------Heitinga-----------Dunne--------------Adriano
---------------------------Barry (c)---------------------------
Obertan----------Nolan-------------Pjanic----------------Nene
--------------------------Adebayor---------------------------

Subs: Robinson, Riise, Lopez, Sturridge, Agbonlahor

Team Talk: Although we are at home, I want to start cautiously against an attacking Viva City. Obertan and Nene have key roles; to probe the FB's but also to provide defensive cover for our own FB's.

Given: Clean sheet for you last week - keep it up! Another team looking to get the ball wide so expect crosses and be commanding in the area.

Heitinga/Dunne: Use your strength to bully the CF (Dunne to man-mark him). Defend deep to combat your lack of pace and to give our FB's time to get back from attacking.

Montoya/Adriano: Two quick FB's, use your speed to get up the pitch and release the wingers in front of you. Overlap on occasion, but for this match concentrate more on defensive rather than offensive.

Barry: CDM role again for this match. Our FB's won't be breaking forward too much this time, so concentrate on keeping the ACM from dictating the play. When you have the ball, play the ball short to Nolan/Pjanic and drift around the centre circle to give them an outlet if pressed.

Pjanic/Nolan: Look for Barry, and help him release the ball up the pitch. Quick one-twos between you to draw the CDM out. Then get the ball wide to Obertan/Nene and support Adebayor in the box. Look to keep position, frustating Viva City into rash mistakes, while always looking to play the sensible and quick ball to get higher up the pitch.

Obertan/Nene: Look to come inside along the midfield line, so Pjanic/Nolan can play it short. Then get the ball further towards the touchline ready to cross for Adebayor and Pjanic/Nolan running in. Mark the wingers when they break forward, to help keep Viva City attacks to a minimum. Nene to play all free-kicks.

Adebayor: Come from deep, and allow Pjanic/Nolan to pass the ball easily forward. Run at the CB's, out muscling them, and shoot from range. When Nene/Obertan has the ball, get into the box and get on the end of the crosses.

Substitutions if LOSING or DRAWING after 70mins

Sturridge FOR Obertan (straight swap)
Agbonlahor FOR Nene (straight swap)

Play 4-5-1, with Sturridge and Agbonlahor running at the tiring FB's, coming inside and taking any shooting opportunity. Adebayor to look for rebounds. Pjanic/Barry/Nolan to sit tight in the centre midfield and get the ball to Sturridge/Agbonlahor.

Team Talk:
- Make sure we work as a unit in defence and that you execute your jobs well. In attack go down the wings and look to take on the full back. If we have to sit back, do so and attack with venom on the counter.
- Last week we were unlucky to not pick up the win but I was pleased with your performance. Now they may not have a manager but that doesn’t mean that they’re not a threat. Just go out there and complete your jobs and maybe we can pick up the win.

Bilbao Baggins

Injury: Aaron Lennon
Captain: Esteban Cambiasso

De Gea
Abate---Hummels--Alex---Cole
Lucas---Cambiasso---Motta
Gotze
Demba Ba---Ronaldinho

Subs: Garay, Ronaldinho, Alves, Coates, Cisse

Team talk

De Gea: Be confident, be loud, get your hands on the ball early and get your body behind it, communicate with the centre backs to protect you.

Abate & Cole: Look to keep wingers on the outside and time tackles, if they're fast wingers tackle as they get the ball and muscle them out of the game. Look to work down the wings when in possession and thread the ball through to Gotze.

Hummels & Alex: Hummels to nullify main striker threat through man marking. Alex to pick up wingers coming through channels and AMs.

Lucas, Cambiasso & Motta: Boss the centre of the park and dictate the game! Read the game and distribute the ball into threatening positions. Look to block any movement down the channels and sap the opposition.

Gotze: Playmaker for the team, pick the ball up and run at the Defence, look to target the left hand side of the pitch as they don't have a comfortable left back.

Demba Ba: Target the slower of the two centre backs and look to drag him out of position, hang on his shoulder and look to burst past him with pinpoint timing.

Ronaldinho: free role as a second striker today, use the entire final third of the pitch to pull apart the opposition.

Set pieces
Hummels and Alexto all go into the box to use their height to create an aerial threat. Cambiasso and Motta to protect De Gea on defensive set pieces.

Injuries: Polo, Diarra

Starting XI:
1. Joe Hart
2. Lorenzo De Silvestri
3. Pablo Armero
4. Jeremy Toulalan
6. Phil Jagielka (c)
7. Milos Krasic
8. Wilson Palacios
9. Falcao
10. Erik Lamela
15. Michael Dawson
25. Nolito

Hart
De Silvestri - Jagielka - Dawson - Armero
Toulalan - Palacios
Krasic - Lamela - Nolito

Subs: 5. Toby Alderweireld, 11. Robinho, 12. Christian Zapata, 13. Jose Manuel Pinto, 18. Gylfi Sigurdsson, 21. Youssouf Mulumbu, 26. Lucas Piazon

England's number 1 Joe Hart returns in goal for our league game. Joe will command his area like he does and watch out for long shots.

Our centre back pairing is the all English pairing of Phil Jagielka and new signing Michael Dawson. The understanding between our English trio of goalkeeper and centre backs will give us an advantage against the opposition's attack.

Armero and De Silvestri as full backs will have to be aware of their defensive duties, but on the other hand not be too afraid to support the wingers.

The DM's of Toulalan and Palacios will be instructed to break up any attacks from attacking midfield, help out the full backs when under pressure and be smart when in possession.

The AM's of Krasic, Lamela and Nolito will torment the defence, Krasic and Nolito can beat the full back and cross the ball as well as cut inside, swap wings and shoot on sight. Lamela will run the middle of the park, being the link from defensive midfield to the wingers to the striker.

Falcao upfront will receive chance after chance as he is the focal point of our side, make runs in behind, get into the area often and stick to one defender to ensure you don't get double teamed.

Subs 65 mins:
(If losing): Robinho, Piazon and Zapata on; Palacios, De Silvestri and Armero off. Back 3 of Jagielka, Dawson and Zapata, midfield 5 of Krasic, Piazon, Toulalan (holding role), Lamela and Nolito, front 2 of Falcao and Robinho. Attack!

(If drawing): Robinho, Piazon and Mulumbu on; Lamela, Nolito and Palacios off. All 3 changes like for like, Robinho AM, Piazon LW, Mulumbu DM.

(If winning): Robinho, Piazon and Mulumbu on; Falcao, Nolito and Lamela off. Robinho as lone striker, Piazon on left of AM two, Mulumbu alongside Toulalan and Palacios in DM. 4-3-2-1 setup. Close the game out.

Manager's note: Two league wins in two and in the last 8 of the cup, I want us to maintain our momentum as this is shaping up into potentially a great season for AC ALSOAM. Stick to your roles, give 100% effort, and enjoy yourselves.

Week 4: Athletico Bilbao Baggins FC v Real Ale Sociedad

Injuries: Paul Robinson and Jack Rodwell

Formation:

------------------------------Given--------------------------------
Fritz---------------Huth----------------Heitinga-------------Adriano
Dempsey----------Khedira---------------Barry-----------------Nene
-------------------------------Agbonlahor-------------------------
----------------------Adebayor------------------------------------

Subs: Boruc, Arne Riise, Dunne, Pjanic, Sturridge, Lopez

Tactics:

We go up against a strong Bilbao side that prefers to play a 4-3-2-1 or 4-2-3-1 formation. To counter this I want our midfield and strikers to have a mix of pace and strength. Khedira, as our new signing, go out and show everyone your quality.

Given: I expect a lot of pace from the wings today, so be alert and clear any balls out of the danger area before CF's can latch onto it. Be vocal to our backline to help their positioning.

Huth/Heitinga: Heitinga to man-mark Cisse and stay with him. Huth to watch for breaks from AM's. A deep backline to combat their pace. Khedira and Barry will break up the play and offer support before it reaches you.

Adriano/Fritz: Attacking full-backs, but as I feel Bilbao will do the same, I want you both to hang back. Play the ball to the more central midfielders, rather than to the wings. Keep structured and don't allow the AM's to go between yourselves and our CB's

Barry/Khedira: Both of you will be recieving the ball a lot. Play it wide, back or to each other and dictate the game against an inferior Bilbao CM and CDM partnership. Watch out for Gotze making runs through the middle - Barry to mark him expecially. Khedira to break up the play and frustrate the attacking players of Bilbao who won't see a lot of the ball and will fade from the game. Khedira to go forward for corners to use his superb heading ability.

Dempsey: Watch for Cole coming forward and latch on to the space he leaves. Come inside and shoot, or get a pass through to Adebayor. Look to ghost into the area if Nene or Agbonlahor have the ball on the left, as you will be unmarked. Track back and help Fritz with Bilbaos attacking left midfielder.

Nene/Agbonlahor: Double team on the left hand side against the RB who will strive to come forward too many times. Look for Adebayors head and Dempsey coming into the box unmarked. Nene and Agbonlahor to run at the gap inbetween RB and CB. Nene to track back and help Adriano with the Bilbaos attacking right midfielder.

Adebayor: With no Hummels, I expect you to power your way through a weakened CB partnership. Look to hold the ball up from deep and look left for the pace of Nene and Agbonlahor. Be ready for crosses that come from that area.

Formation if drawing/losing after 70mins

Strurridge FOR Dempsey
Pjanic FOR Nene

Go 4-2-3-1. Barry and Khedira as CDM. Pjanic as AM. Strurridge as RW. Agbonlahor as LW. Look to the added pace of Strurridge to target a tired Ashley Cole.

Formation if winning after 70mins

Dunne FOR Agbonlahor

Go 5-4-1 with Dunne slotting into the middle of defence. See out the game with balls to Adebayor to hold up, and Nene running in from the left.

Team instructions:
Krul - Play the ball out from the back along the floor to Enrique or Naughton. Be positive and assured in decision making
Naughton and Enrique - They like to play with two wingers so make sure you are strong and don't let them beat you. Try to pin their wingers back by making forward runs overlapping our wingers.
Hangeland and Agger - Be strong in the air with one going and one covering. Look to get the ball and play it out from the back. Watch the darts from midfield.
Lucas Leiva - They usually play with a CAM so look to win the battle against him. When we have the ball look to distribute to the wings or our CAM.
The Ox and Johnson - I want you two to dominate their full backs who aren't the best defensively. But I also want you back in defending and doubling up on their wingers. Big shift is needed. Plenty of crosses for Holt and Ba to attack as well.
Bellamy - I want you to get in the hole and cause untold trouble. But you need to put effort in helping back. Don't let their midfield dominate you.
Holt and Ba - I want you two to bully their CB's. Beat them in the aerial battle and in holding the ball up. Ba look in behind for Holt flick ons and vice versa. Our wingers will get crosses in so look to score from their.

Team Talk:
-You have made a good start to the season but now is the time where you will decide your fate. Will it be mid table medocrity or a title challenge. It will be tough out there but if you give it your all the victory will come. Viva City will come out strong but never give up. Stick to your jobs, work as a unit and the result will come.

Bilbao Baggins v Real Ale Sociedad

Injury: Maxwell & Mats Hummels
Captain: Esteban Cambiasso

De Gea
Abate---Subotic--Alex---Cole
Cambiasso---Motta
Cazorla---Gotze-----Schurrle
Demba Cisse

Subs: Garay, Ronaldinho, Alves, Coates, Lennon, Ramsey, VDW

Team talk
2 wins in a row, today let's make it a hat trick of victories. I want a high octane game of constant pressure and tempo that the opposition simply will be unable to deal with.

De Gea: Be confident, be loud, get your hands on the ball early and get your body behind it, communicate with the centre backs to protect you.

Abate & Cole: Defend primarily, look to keep wingers on the outside and time tackles, if they're fast wingers tackle as they get the ball and muscle them out of the game. Only go forward when they are on the backfoot.

Subotic & Alex: Probably Adebayor upfront so if that's the case Subotic to nullify his threat through manmarking. Alex to pick up wingers coming through channels and AMs whilst cutting out balls to Adebayor.

Cambiasso & Motta: control the middle of the pitch, both of you have done it playing together before for Inter so you know each each others game well whilst you're up against a centre midfield duo that have never played together. Look to apply pressure early on and unsettle them before spreading the ball across the pitch.

Gotze: look to combine down the left hand side often with your national team mate Schurrle and target Fritz in particular, invite sloppy tackles and trick the opposition into rash decisions that will cause them to then become hesitant for the remainder of the game. Hit balls past the CBs for Cisse to connect with.

Schurrle and Cazorla: Both wingers to look to come inside as often as possible, Schurrle to use his incisive and darting runs with a blistering burst of acceleration to turn the FB and get into the box, Cazorla to use his intelligence and close ball skills to thwart his opponent. Both to ensure that to track back when needed. If other winger has ball then look to drift into the box to assist Cisse.

Cisse: Hang about in an offside position that keeps the defence extremely deep and look to respond quicker than the centrebacks onto balls put past them for typical poacher goals.

Subs
If losing/drawing at 65m: bring on Ramsey & Ronaldinho for Motta and Schurrle, use the creative skills of Ronaldino and added goal threat to push forward.
if winning at 80m: Replace Alex with Garay and shore up the defence for the last 10 mins.

Set pieces
Subotic, Alex and Motta to all go into the box to use their height to create an aerial threat. Cambiasso and Motta to protect De Gea on defensive set pieces.

Week 5:
Viva City v AC ALSOAM

Injuries: Pjanic, Robinho

Starting XI:
1. Joe Hart
2. Lorenzo De Silvestri
3. Pablo Armero
4. Jeremy Toulalan
6. Raul Albiol
7. Jefferson Farfan
9. Falcao
10. Erik Lamela
14. Jerome Boateng
18. Maxime Gonalons
25. Nolito

Hart
De Silvestri - Albiol - Boateng - Armero
Toulalan - Gonalons
Farfan - Lamela - Nolito
Falcao

Subs: Pinto, Zapata, Montoya, Palacios, Piazon, Polo, Mandzukic

England's Joe Hart retains his place in our toughest test so far this season, Joe will need to command his area and be wary of long range shots.

Our centre back pairing of Raul Albiol and Jerome Boateng is second to none and they will be expected to focus on Huntelaar. One of you stick to Huntelaar like glue and beat him to the ball, and the other one covering your partner.

Armero and De Silvestri as full backs will have to be aware of their defensive duties, but on the other hand not be too afraid to support the wingers.

The all French DM's of Toulalan and Gonalons will be expected to nullify the strong attacking threat of the Viva City AM's, as well as assisting the full backs and centre backs if they get outnumbered.

The AM's of Farfan, Lamela and Nolito will torment the defence, Farfan and Nolito can beat the full back and cross the ball as well as cut inside, swap wings and shoot on sight. Lamela will run the middle of the park, being the link from defensive midfield to the wingers to the striker.

Falcao upfront will receive chance after chance as he is the focal point of our side, make runs in behind, get into the area often and stick to one defender to ensure you don't get double teamed.

Subs (65 mins):

If losing: Mandzukic, Piazon and Polo on; Gonalons, Nolito and Lamela off. Formation changes to 4-1-3-2, Mandzukic partners Falcao, Piazon AM with Polo as LW.

If drawing: Mandzukic, Montoya and Piazon on; Falcao, De Silvestri and Nolito off. Like for like, with Mandzukic CF, Montoya RB and Piazon LW, to freshen things up a bit while maintaining discipline.

If winning: Mandzukic, Palacios and Piazon on; Falcao, Farfan and Nolito off. Formation changes to 4-3-2-1, Palacios an extra DM, Piazon joins Lamela in AM and Mandzukic the lone CF.

Manager's note: This is our toughest game of the season so far, I want you all to stick to our gameplan, be sensible in possession and give 100%. We could be on the verge of something spectacular this season so I want us to keep the momentum from the early part of the season and build on our solid start with 3 points.

Lucas Leiva - I want you to play deeper of our two CM's looking to break up the play and then distrubute to our playmakers.
Cabaye- I want you to work hard when they have the ball supporting Lucas but when we have it either hit the wingers or one of our strikers feet.
The Ox and Johnson - I want you two to dominate their full backs who aren't the best defensively. But I also want you back in defending and doubling up on their wingers. Big shift is needed. Plenty of crosses for Holt and Ba to attack as well.

Go more direct looking to pepper their defence. One of our three strikers will be free to pick up the scraps. Lots of runs from midfield as well.

Krul
Arbeloa - Hangeland - Agger - Enrique
Lucas - Howson - Cabaye
Wilbraham - Holt - Ba

Team Talk:
-I must admit that last week was a tough game and I made it a lot tougher by picking to wrong formation. But this week I have made the necessary changes and I believe that you can win today. Baggins are one of the favourites for the title but we can still challenge if we win today. Work hard for each other, stick to the gameplan and the result should follow.

Viva City vs AC ALittleSilhouetteoOfAMan

Team Talk:
Take advantage of the poor discipline of the front 4 who will struggle to help back and get in each others way when drifiting around no set position ir displince can workin our favour. They do not have someone who can dictate the tempo in midfield which will give us the advantage. De Silvestri loves to attack so Bastos get in behind him. Lets keep up this good run

Formation: 4-4-1-1

De Sanctis
Azpilicueta---Vertonghen---Lescott---Radu
Menez---Pirlo---Matuidi---Bastos
Hamsik
Huntelaar

Subs:

Kameni
Barzagli
Gonzalez
Valbuena
Park
Montolivo
Pizzaro

Injured players:
Jordan Rhodes
Javi Garcia

De Sanctis always on your toes parry shots away from goal if you can't hold try to catch most balls if not punch them out always talk to your defenders.

Azpilicueta defend first but push down and pressure the wingers Nolito is not great at defending get crosses in when defending watch the feet and don't dive in you have the pace and ability to keep up with your man.

Lescott pick up Falcao we all know that he struggles against good teams and is just a flat track bully. Watch his runs and jockey him you have the power and speed to keep him at bay.

Vertonghen pick up any other attacker that makes runs into box or cover for Lescott, always communicate and dont leave a big gap between Lescott use your passing ability to start quick counters for us.

Radu don't attack much stay back give us the insurance of three defenders, watch the ball do not dive in watch for him trying to knock it passed you. When he gets the ball put a tackle in early or use your superior strength to knock him off the ball.

Matuidi keep it simple break up attacks and sit back do not push up play simple passes when they come into our half pressure them push them back wards put tackles in intercept.

Pirlo control the midfield only you can play like this demand the ball look for wingers making runs behind the FB quicken or slow the game down run that midfield make the opposition chase the ball.

Menez you have raw pace and with thier wingers not being naturally hard workers you will have time to get at thier FB run at him knock the ball passed him make him commit himself get constant balls into the box. Help your fullback out.

Bastos good close control look to dribble with the ball, come inside or outside vary your decisions. You have a powerful shot so if you get in range hit one look to get balls in the box and make runs into the bakcpost yourself.

Hamsik run around get between thier CB opening them up go out wide drop deep get beyond Huntelaar a free role don't allow them to pick you up. Look to pass the ball or run with the ball look for our players get into the attacking third andlook for goals. When we don't have the ball drop back and put pressure on thier DM stopping thier attacks.

Huntelaar always on the move don't stay static get on both sides of CB so you ain't only on one side. Movement is key make those last second back/near post runs gamble on where the ball will go play as a predator knock the ball on for others.

SUB 65 MIN
Menez off Valbuena on (Fresh legs to attack thier LB)

SUB 75 MIN IF LOSING
Pirlo off Pizzaro on (We play 4-4-2 Hamsik dropping in midfield)

SUB 75 MIN WINNING
Pirlo off Gonzalez on (More energy in midfield and Gonzalez bite and pass)

SUB 83 MIN IF WINNING
Bastos off Park on (Run around pressure them into mistakes)

Set Pieces:

Freekick 26 yards or more: Pirlo
Freekick 25 yards or less: Pirlo/Hamsik

Bilbao Baggins v Cunning Canaries

Injury: David De Gea, Sebastian Coates
Captain: Esteban Cambiasso

Alves
VDW---Hummels--Subotic---Cole
Cambiasso---Motta---Cazorla
Gotze---Schurrle
Demba Cisse

Subs: Garay, Ronaldinho, Alex, Lennon, Abate, Coutinho, Ramsey

Team talk
Need to crank it up a gear this week after the disappointment of a draw last week. We need to have a solid performance this week so I'm looking to dominate through the centre of the park with a very committed backbone.

Alves: Deputising in for De Gea but I'm condfident you will be up to the task, be bold be loud be dominant. Instruct the back four, strong on crosses and make yourself big on shots.

VDW & Cole: Ensure you remember the fundamental role of defending first, block crosses and push the wingers wide. If you have the ball then look to get forward and act as a spare winger looking to get crosses into the box.

Hummels & Subotic: finally the partnership is together and it's one I expect to nullify any attacking threat. Last week Canaries played with 2 up front so if that's the case then deal with a man each keeping goalside of each

Cambiasso & Motta: physically impose yourself early into the game and dictate the flow. Use Cazorla as the creative outlet once you have the ball. Both look to cover gaps when fullback go forward.

Cazorla: Dropping a bit further back this week to swamp the centre of the pitch, use your excellent touch and vision to unthread the Canaries centre and link up play with the 3 attacking options.

Gotze & Schurrle: Both given the space to play in the hole and to use their pace and creativeness to pull apart the centre backs and thread balls through or crack one from a distance. Track back when Under pressure to flood midfield.

Cisse: play off the shoulder of their deepest centreback and look to pounce on through balls as the two attacking midfielders come forward.

Subs
If losing/drawing at 65m: bring on Ramsey & Ronaldinho for Motta and Schurrle, use the creative skills of Ronaldino and added goal threat to push forward.
if winning at 80m: Replace Schurrle with Alex and shore up the defence for the last 10 mins.

Set pieces
Hummels and Subotic to all go into the box to use their height to create an aerial threat. Cambiasso and Motta to protect Alves on defensive set pieces.

Week 7: Real Ale Sociedad v Cunning Canaries FC

Injuries: Nene and Clint Dempsey

Corners/Free Kicks: Thiago

Formation (4-5-1):

-------------------------------Given------------------------------
Lichtsteiner---------Ivanovic----------Dawson--------------Adriano
------------------Rodwell-----Thiago-----Khedira------------------
---Sturridge----------------------------------------Agbonlahor----
-----------------------------Adebayor----------------------------

Subs: Boruc, Riise, Huth, Dunne

Team Talk: We are able to play our first XI for the first time this season. Thiago Alcántara will add a huge amount of creativity, and Sturridge is a key player to target Canaries weak left side and a patched up defence. Let us play high tempo football and grab a few goals.

Given: Another team with speed on the flanks, so be wary of the ball played behind our defence. Be quick off your line for any through balls and crosses.

Ivanovic/Dawson: First choice CB pairing, hold a deep line to combat Chamberlains pace coming from the right. Canaries will probably play two up front, so be wary of the two CF's. They will try and get balls behind you, so that deep line enables Given to snuffle the danger. Ivanovic to go forward for corners.

Lichtsteiner/Adriano: Lichsteiner to work with Sturridge on the right. With Jose Enrique injured, they will have weak LB and Johnson will try and come inside. This will leave acres of space to exploit on the over-lap. Adriano to watch Chamberlain like a hawk - you match him for speed, so drive him out to the touchline. Stay back when we have the ball, so Chamberlain cannot damage us on the counter.

Rodwell/Thiago/Khedira: Rodwell and Khedira to be box-to-box midfielders. Break up the play and then drive forward. Have a one up/one back policy when going forward so as not to leave us to exposed. Canaries midfield pairing is weak so plan to dominate the centre. Khedira give support to Adriano to combat Chamberlain and Rodwell to take the ball off Johnson when he comes inside. Thiago to be our play-maker, with your excellent vision and passing skills. Look for Sturridge on the right mostly, as I want to target the weak LB. Look for the through ball to him, or the early pass so he can run at the LB.

Sturridge Key aim for you is to target the LB, whether it be a weak LB or a make shift LB from one of the CB's. Beat him for pace and get crosses in, or come inside and shoot on goal. You are in great form and I want to carry this on today.

Adebayor/Agbonlahor: Even though Agbonlahor is on the left wing, I want you to come inside and support Adebayor. They will try and mark him out of the game, so Agbonlahor can ghost in from the left and wait for crosses. Adebayor to have an unselfish game, holding the ball up, releasing the wingers and getting into the box to convert crosses. I am looking for you to put a good shift in against a put-together defence.

Tactics if Losing (70mins): Thiago to move to AM, and Rodwell and Khedira to burst forward more with their box-to-box skills. Khedira and Ivanovic to get into the box after 85mins and ultilize their heading ability.

Tactics if Winning (75mins): Huth FOR Thiago and Riise FOR Adriano. Huth slots in as CB. Riise, fresh legs, at LB. Play 5-4-1 and block up all the spaces that Canaries will try and exploit with pace in the final 15mins.

Carling FC v Trebles Revenge

Formation (4-2-3-1)
Injury : Oriol Romeu

Starting 11
GK:Wojicech Sczezny
DR: Micah Richards
DC: Christian Chivu
DC: Mateo Musacchio
DL: Luca Antonini
DMC: Scott Parker
DMC: Frank Lampard ©
AMR: Adem Ljajic
AMC: Ganso
AML: James Rodriguez
ST: Lucas Barrios

Subs: Asenjo, Kjaer, Gibbs, Xhaka, Maggio, Kroos, Drogba

--------------------------------Wojicech Sczezny----------------------------------------
Micah Richards--------Christian Chivu-------Mateo Musacchio----------Luca Antonini
-------------------------Scott Parker-----------Frank Lampard ©-----------------------
Adem Ljajic--------------------------Ganso----------------------------James Rodriguez
-----------------------------------Lucas Barrios-------------------------------------------

Wojicech Sczezny (The Sczenator) – I don’t want you to take many risks in coming off your line, the defense will be sitting right in front of you so trust them. When you have the ball, get don’t dwell on disturbing it.

Micah Richards and Luca Antonini – It’s our first game working together, just make sure you are solid in defence. If there is a chance for you to exploit the right and left wings then by all means go forward Parker is there for cover. Micah, hope the interest from other clubs doesn’t affect your focus today; I want to build this club up and for you to be apart of that.

Christian Chivu and Mateo Musacchio: this is a fairly new partnership but you’ve got a lot of experience between you, so you don’t need me to tell you that communicating is the key. Stay close to one another and help each other out if one is struggling.

Scotty Parker: I want you to do what you do best, sit in front of the defence and control that area. You’re a fine player with amazing temperament and skill, so make your tackles count and fill in for any out of player position.

Franky Lampard: I know you’re playing a deeper role than you’re used to but I want you to sit in the centre of midfield and create attacks. I don’t expect you to sit alongside Scotty but make sure you drop deep to help out when needed.

Adem Ljajic and James Rodriguez: I want both of you to create us width, focus on getting the ball and beating their full-backs. Get balls into Barrios feet, if so fizz balls low and across goal. You’re both capable of great things and have the talent to take on the best out there. If they’re controlling play then make sure you help out your own full backs.

Ganso: You’re a man with great talent, such creative flair. So I want you to play a free role today, we’ve got enough defensive cover that will allow you to do this. So supply Barrios in everyway possible, I don’t want him facing away from their goal.

Lucas Barrios: I want you to stay forward; I want you on the edge of their defensive line so the others can play you in. Go out there and enjoy yourself, you will get supply from the others.

If winning- In the 75th minute, bring on Albrighton and Xhaka for Lampard and Ljajic just to keep fitness levels high and a fresh pair of legs to help see out the win.

If losing- if the team are down at 60 minutes then bring on Drogba and Kroos for Barrios and Ganso. The team will play more direct football into the feet and chest of Dider. This will allow the wingers to get around and ahead of Drogba in advanced areas. I want Drogba to hassle the defenders and draw them away for their partnering centre backs allowing space to open up for the likes of Ljajic, Kroos and Rodriquez to exploit.

Manager notes
If we stay solid at the back and make no stupid errors and keep focused on what we’re doing. Scotty Parker will be there for cover to fill in any gaps which will allow the likes of Ganso and Lampard to take control and start playing passes that will open up the play. Hopefully creating enough chances for our front men to take. This is your first game under myself; so I feel we’ve had enough preparation time to start to build understand for one another. Remember they’re under new management as well so it’s an even playing field. Good luck Pigeons!

Week 7:

League A

Athletic Bilbao Baggins v AC ALSOAM

Injuries: Lopez, Nolito, Bellamy

Starting XI (3-4-2-1):
Joe Hart; Jerome Boateng, Raul Albiol, Holger Badstuber; Martin Montoya, Jeremy Toulalan, Maxime Gonalons, Pablo Armero; Miralem Pjanic, Andre Schurrle; Moussa Sow

Hart
Boateng - Albiol - Badstuber
Montoya - Toulalan - Gonalons - Armero
Pjanic - Schurrle
Sow

Subs: Jose Manuel Pinto, Cristian Zapata, Owen Hargreaves, Mahamadou Diarra, Erik Lamela, Jefferson Farfan, Ched Evans

England's number 1 Joe Hart returns in goal, we need to be wary of long range shots and also make yourself big should the strikers get through one on one.

The back three of Boateng, Raul Albiol and Badstuber are there to contend with the attacking threat of Bilbao Baggins, an extra body in there to limit the amount of chances.

CDM's are Toulalan and Gonalons, I expect them to close down quicker and cover teammates better than last week's Cup tie, watch out for the runs from midfield. When in possession, look for the AM's and the wing backs.

Martin Montoya and Pablo Armero are the wing backs, they will be the ones who get forward and get crosses into the box for the striker, but they are both defensively minded and will know their responsibilities, track back and be in position to make a back 5 when out of possession.

Pjanic is the RAM, Schurrle the LAM, they will receive the ball from the CDM's, look to play in Sow on goal, shoot, pass, and create havoc in the Bilbao Baggins defence.

Moussa Sow, will be presented with lots of chances by getting free in the area. Make runs, be smart, but be confident. He has a lot of pace so will be instructed to run onto balls played in behind the defence.

Subs 70 mins;
If winning: Pjanic, Schurrle and Gonalons off; Evans, Hargreaves and Diarra on. We switch to a flat 3-5-2, Hargreaves and Diarra partner Toulalan in a midfield 3 and Ched Evans joins Sow upfront to make sure Bilbao Baggins can't overcommit against us.

If drawing: Pjanic, Schurrle and Sow off; Farfan, Lamela and Evans on. Like for like, Farfan RAM, Lamela LAM and Evans CF.

If losing: Albiol, Gonalons and Pjanic off; Farfan, Lamela and Evans on. Switch to 4-1-3-2, Montoya and Armero go to full backs, Toulalan as the sole DM, Farfan, Lamela and Schurrle as the AM's and Evans partners Sow upfront.

Manager's note: Today we play Athletic Bilbao Baggins for the second time in a row. They took our unbeaten record and knocked us out of the Cherry Cup. Now it's time for payback. We're going with a different system to make sure we don't get caught out by Bilbao Baggins's tactics once again. I want us to close down their players frequently and make them rush when in possession, while remaining sensible when we have the ball. Give 100% and stick to your gameplan.

Attacking Corner: One player stand infront of thier keeper

Team Talk:
Let's take the game to the opposition start on the front foot get at them early. I want us to get pass but we have to be realistic and at times we may look to hit it long to the strikers. Look to use width and get crosses in take your man on be confident on the ball. Believe

De Sanctis stand big and tall make goal look small try to catch balls only punch if you have to always talk to defense parry shots away from goal if you can't hold them

Azpilicueta defend first watch the ball jockey your man try to push him away from goal when attacking make forward runs create space

Lescott pick up main leave a yard of gap so he can't turn you if he goes wide or deep let him put tackles in if you have to

Vertonghen pick up AM/SS watch the runs intercept block the ball don't leave a gap between Lescott

Cissokho defend first watch the ball don't dive in jockey your man push him wide or onto weaker foot close the gap so he has less room to pass

Menez pure pace knock ball past player like Bale look to stretch them run at the defender get crosses in for us and track back

Garcia intercept the ball get tackles in close them down rush them get in good positions to stop them passing play simple

Pirlo dictate the tempo of the team slow or fast look for wingers who make runs or strikers help Garcia defend bring the ball forward for us.

Bastos get balls into box but also cut in yourself look to drift in and link with central players Cissoko will give us width but track back

Huntelaar knock the ball on and get into the box simple nothing fancy play as a preadtor be aware of early crosses and do your work in the box

-----Mertens-----------------------------Großkreutz
---------------------Forlan
--------------------------Pazzini

BENCH
Baumann
Varane
Faraoni
Strootman
Lodiero
De Bruyne
Saha

TEAM TALK
We will play with patience and discipline today, keeping possession and being organised defensively. Going forward we should attack at pace, particularly going for Antonini. Deliberately playing the wingers on the opposite sides today.

TACTICS
Barrios is a big threat with his height and strength so we should play a high line, as Barrios isn't the quickest and we can catch him offside.
Sakho and Rami both have pace about them to get back, but most of the time we should stick with a flat, organised back four.
Vidal should drop back to stop Ganso at times.
The full backs are big and strong unlike a lot of full backs which can be short, they should try to outmuscle the wingers and force them out wide.

Tiote will be more of the tackler, breaking up the play, with Vidal dictating the play with his passing ability.
We won't be flashy in midfield but effective, keeping possession when we have it and maintaining our shape when we don't.
Forlan should try to link up the play, he can drop deep to receive the ball but at times should look to get further forward and take long shots.
Out wide we can take advantage. Antonini has a serious lack of pace and we have tried to exploit that by playing Mertens. He can cut inside and take shots. He will be our key man going forward.
Großkreutz and Pazzini have height advantages over Musacchio and Richards so we should knock high balls and crosses to them.

If we're winning then bring on Strootman to add to our midfield, bringing off Forlan. Move to a 4-5-1, the midfield should try to close the game out.
If we're drawing then bring on De Bruyne and Saha for Forlan and Großkreutz. De Bruyne and Mertens should play on their natural sides so we get more crosses in, we should be more direct. Saha can nick a goal late on.
If we're losing then move Großkreutz into a central role alongside Vidal. Forlan moves out wide with Saha coming on for Tiote. Attack and take risks.

Team instructions:
Krul - Play the ball out from the back along the floor to Enrique or Arbeloa. Be positive and assured in decision making.
Hangeland, Agger and Williams – I want you three to work as a unit. They usually play with one up front but you need to beware of the wingers.
Lucas – I want you to break up all their play. If they play with a CAM I want you to nullify him if not just screen the defence.
Cabaye and Howson – I want you two to work hard forward and back. Cabaye you are the playmaker and Howson I want you to hit it from 25 yards and score.
The Ox and Johnson – You two have a big role today. You must get back and cover their wingers but you are also our main threat. Big game lads.
Holt and Ba – I want you two to do what you do best. Score goals. Simples.

Bilbao Baggins v AC ALSO AM

Injury: Demba Cisse & Thiago Motta
Captain: Esteban Cambiasso

De Gea
Abate---Hummels--Alex---Cole
Cambiasso
Cazorla---Gotze---Ronaldinho
Dos---Ayew

Subs: Garay, Ramsey, Alves, Coates, VDW, Coutinho, Piazon

Team talk
Last week we faced AFC ALSORANS and we put on a clinical display, today though is a different game and I don't want any of you going out there and thinking the points are in the bag, I want fire in your bellies, passion in your shirt and honour for your team.
I want to play a quick tempo game that utilises our strengths, intelligent and clinical control up the pitch, with the play being primarily in their final third.

De Gea: Be confident, be loud, get your hands on the ball early and get your body behind it, communicate with the centre backs to protect you.

Abate & Cole: Look to contain and nullify. Push wingers out wide and they are speed merchants then aim to meet them as they look to receive the ball. Physically impose yourself, if given the chance look to come forward and assist down the wings on attack.

Hummels & Subotic: Continue the great understanding between yourselves, their main striker is out injured but Sow is a dangerous opponent so Subotic to do the dirty work early on and Hummels to combat any marauding AM threats.

Cambiasso: Play a role in front of the defence today as the extra man and contain any movement looking to strike through the centre. Push the ball wide for our wingers to then counter.

Gotze: Playmaker for the team, come deep to assist Cambiasso when required and then look to spread the ball intelligently to men in space.

Ronaldo and Cazorla: Both wing players are gifted in being able to create opportunites from nothing, I need that today, I want creation and control, look for the target man upfront with pin point crosses.

Dos and Ayew: Dos to be the target man upfront with his 6ft 5in frame and hold up play and knock the ball down to allow the BBC African Footballer of the Year Ayew to show his talents. Work with the speed and size to probe weaknesses in the defence.

Subs
If losing/drawing at 65m: bring on Ramsey for Subotic, use the extra man in midfield to continue to push forward.
if winning at 80m: Replace Ayew with Garay and shore up the defence for the last 10 mins.

Set pieces
Target Dos's height but also have Subotic and Cambiasso to come forward and physically intimidate their defence. Both of them to protect De Gea on their set pieces.

Week 8: Cunning Canaries FC vs Go Ahead Pigeons

Cunning Canaries FC tactics

Injuries: Brede Hangeland and Ashley Williams (non sheep related incident)
Formation: 4-5-1
Starting XI:
GK - Tim Krul
RB - Kyle Naughton
CB - Laurent Koscielny (Right side)
CB - Daniel Agger (Left side)
LB - Kieran Gibbs
CDM - Marouane Fellaini
RCM - Steven Gerrard (Vice Captain)
LCM - Mikel Arteta
LW - Adam Johnson
RW - Alex Oxlade Chamberlain
ST - Demba Ba

Subs:
John Ruddy

Grant Holt (Captain)
Aaron Wilbraham

Krul
Naughton - Koscielny - Agger - Gibbs
------------ Fellaini ------------
-------Gerrard ---- Arteta ------
The Ox -------------------- Johnson
-------------- Ba ------------

Team Instructions:
Krul - Command your area. Play the ball out through our full backs quickly, if they aren't available build through the centre backs.
Naughton and Gibbs - They like to play with wingers who have pace. But I want you two to push forward and attack, therefore nullifying their effect in attack as they should cover you. Look to get the ball off Krul.
Koscielny and Agger - From last week they play one up top. Agger I want you to challenge in the air and Koscielny to cover round and sweep. Be aware of any runs from midfield.
Fellaini - Your job is to break up the play. Last time they played they had a CAM. Nullify him. Take him out of the game. Do this and it increases our chances of winning significantly. When you pick the ball up look to distribute to either Gerrard or Arteta or the full backs.
Gerrard and Arteta - You two are our playmakers. Look to pick up the ball and hit the wingers or the the killer ball to Ba. Make bursts from midfield and look to shoot if you have the opportunity. However you must work back and help our defence as well.
The Ox and Johnson - You two need to dominate the full backs. Look to use your pace to get in behind but if that fails I want you to use your skills to jink past them. Switch sides throughout. But there full backs like to attack so it is of paramount importance that you work back as well.
Ba - Your are up front by yourself today. I want you to be strong and hold up the ball. Link in the wingers and midfields, look for the give and go if needs must. You can dominate their centre backs, look to grab some goals again.

Free kicks - Gerrard
Pens - Gerrard
Corners - Gerrard

Substitutions and tactical changes:
If winning - (70 mins) Stay 4-5-1 (fresh legs to add to the cause. Look to be a little bit less expansive.)
- Pilkington for Johnson, Frimpong for Gerrard, Holt for Ba

Krul
Naughton - Koscielny - Agger - Gibbs
------------ Fellaini ------------
-------Frimpong ---- Arteta ------
The Ox -------------------- Pilkington
-------------- Holt ------------

If drawing - (70 mins) Go 4-4-2 (Look to go for the win. Fellaini more defensive than Gerrard. Holt and Ba looking for crosses.)
- Pilkington for Johnson, Holt for Arteta.

Krul
Naughton - Koscielny - Agger - Gibbs
The Ox - Gerrard - Fellaini - Pilkington
Holt - Ba

If losing - (70 mins) Go 4-3-3
- Holt for Johnson, Wilbraham for The Ox (Holt and Wilbraham join Ba up top, look to go long ball. Midfield three will work like trojans.)

Krul
Naughton - Koscielny - Agger - Gibbs
Gerrard - Fellaini - Arteta
Holt - Ba - Wilbraham

Team Talk
- I freely admit that last week was dreadful from me. But now after some shrewd business in the transfer market I believe we have a team that can beat anybody. Look to finish the season on a high, who knows we could still make the top 4!
- Work harder than them, defend as a unit not as individuals. Do your job defensively and the rest will all fall into place. When we attack we attack with pace and power. Don't be afraid to have a pot shot from 25 yards, lets trouble the scorers a lot more this week.

Week 8 - Cunning Canaries FC Vs Go Ahead Pigeons

Formation (4-3-3)
Injury : Drogba and Zapata

Starting 11
GK:Wojicech Sczezny
DR: Micah Richards
DC: Christian Chivu
DC: Alex
DL: Luca Antonini
MC: Scott Parker
MLC: Frank Lampard ©
MRC: Ganso
RW: Bryan Ruiz
LW: James Rodriquez
ST: Lucas Barrios

Subs: Asenjo, Enrique, Musacchio, Albrighton, Redmond, Lennon, Dembele.

Wojicech Sczezny (The Sczenator) – I don’t want you to take many risks in coming off your line, the defense will be sitting right in front of you so trust them. When you have the ball, get don’t dwell on disturbing it.
Micah Richards and Luca Antonini- Last game we kept it reasonable solid so I want more of the same from you both. One of you go forward and the other stays back. Don’t take too many risks as I want the back 4 to stay as solid as possible.

Christian Chivu and Alex: This is another new partnership but I feel a stronger one than before. Communicate with one another and stay strong. Don’t take risks and we wont concede. I want a deep defensive line as there isn’t much pace but tons of strength between you two.

Scotty Parker: I want you to do what you did in the last game, sit in front of the defence and control that area. Clean up if the others make a mess. I don’t want them playing in front of our defence.

Franky Lampard and Ganso: Franky I’m playing you higher up than I did last game. You both have the skill to control the midfield, drop deep when they’re attacking. Once we get the ball move it quickly to try and catch the other team on the counter. If they’re playing deep football then play it patiently to try and wait for an opening.

Bryan Ruiz and James Rodriguez: I want both of you to create us width, focus on getting the ball and beating their fullbacks. Get balls into the box aim for Barrios. You both have a lot of skill so get the ball and work your magic.

Lucas Barrios: I want you to act as the target man, hold up play to allow others to get around you. You’re good enough to make even the best centre backs struggle so go out there and get at them.

If winning at 60 minutes: bring on Lennon for Ganso and Albrighton for James Rodriquez to keep the midfield fresh

If losing at half time: Change to a 4-2-3-1 with the midfield changing to the following:
DMC: Scott Parker
DMC: Frank Lampard ©
AMR: B Ruiz
AMC: Ganso
AML: James Rodriguez
ST: Lucas Barrios

If still losing at 60 minutes bring on Dembele for Antonini and change to a 3-5-2. Play more directly towards the strikers.

League A

AC ALSOAM v Real Ale Sociedad

Injuries: Sow, Badstuber

Real Ale Injuries: Thiago Alcantara
Likely Real Ale side (4-1-4-1): Given, Lichtsteiner, Huth, Ivanovic, Adriano, Khedira, Nene, Vidal, Dempsey, Agbonlahor, Cardozo

Starting XI (4-2-3-1):
GK Manuel Neuer
RB Martin Caceres
CB Jerome Boateng
CB Christoph Metzelder
LB Pablo Armero
DM Jeremy Toulalan
DM Maxime Gonalons
RW Jefferson Farfan
AM Miralem Pjanic
LW Andre Schurrle
CF Lisandro Lopez

Neuer

Caceres - Boateng - Metzelder - Armero

Toulalan - Gonalons

Farfan - Pjanic - Schurrle

Lopez

Subs: Pinto, Albiol, Maggio, Xhaka, Lamela, Mertens, Guidetti

Manager's note: Big game time, a good draw last week against Bilbao Baggins but we need to move on. Real Ale Sociedad are behind us on goal difference, so it's likely a draw isn't enough for them. I expect them to come at us, so we need to be solid in defence and look to pick them off on the counter attack.

In goal, Germany's number one, and our newest signing, Manuel Neuer. Neuer will need to be wary of long range shots and command his area like he does regularly. Keep in contact with your defence.

CB's are Jerome Boateng and with Badstuber injured, i've gone for German international Christoph Metzelder over Raul Albiol. Metzelder, Boateng and Neuer will be able to communicate frequently and well, being they are all German speaking, ensuring we cut out any silly and costly mistakes. Fortunately Real Ale have sold Adebayor, Cardozo will be their lone striker, so Metzelder will be the one to stick to Cardozo while Boateng will clean up the mess.

RB Martin Caceres and LB Pablo Armero. Both will have to be wary of the width from Real Ale but also not be afraid to get forward to support the wingers. The Real Ale wingers will try to cut in, always show them outside.

DM's are Toulalan and Gonalons, your job is to stop the free scoring Clint Dempsey and also to help out when the defence are struggling. Don't be afraid to get stuck in. And don't be afraid to use the ball positively, no need to hoof it forward here, just look for the simple pass to the AM's.

The AM's are Farfan (RW), Pjanic (AM) and Schurrle (LW). All three men have the expertees to pick Real Ale off on the counter attack. Farfan and Schurrle have pace to burn, Schurrle also has an eye for goal and will be encouraged to join the striker. Pjanic will dictate the pace of the attacking threat in his usual manner, while also looking for the killer pass or shot.

The CF is Lisandro Lopez, the focal point of our attack. He will stick to one of the two Real Ale CB's, turn him, spin him, do whatever it takes to get half a yard free, which should be enough to get a header or a shot on target.

Subs on 75 mins:
(If winning): Mertens, Xhaka and Lamela on; Schurrle, Farfan and Pjanic off. Xhaka sits deeper than Pjanic was, alongside the DM's. Mertens goes to RAM, Lamela to LAM and we go 4-3-2-1.

(If drawing): Mertens, Maggio and Lamela on; Schurrle, Farfan and Pjanic off. Like for like, Mertens LW, Maggio RW and Lamela AM.

(If losing): Guidetti, Mertens and Lamela on; Gonalons, Schurrle and Pjanic off. We go 4-1-3-2, Toulalan as sole DM, Mertens LW, Lamela AM and Guidetti partners Lopez upfront. Go for it.

Week 8:AC ALSOAM v Real Ale Sociedad

Injuries: Richard Dunne and Thiago

Formation:

-----------------------------------Given----------------------------------
Lichtsteiner-----------Ivanovic-----------------Dawson-------------Adriano
-----------------Khedira----------Rodwell---------Vidal--------------------
-----Dempsey---------------------------------------------------Nene-----
----------------------------------Cardozo---------------------------------

Subs: Boruc, Riise, Huth, Agbonlahor

Tactics: AC ALSOAM are top of the league on merit so we expect a tough game. The tactics for this game is to dominate the midfield with power and stamina. I am hoping to stretch their midfielders to allow gaps to open up for Nene and Dempsey. The midfield three of Khedira, Rodwell and Vidal need to be strong and utilize all their box-to-box attributes.

Given: Be alert for the pace of AC's wingers. Be vocal and alert the defence if there is an overlap happening. The usual deep line we employ has helped us previously with fast wingers, so that will be the tactics again. be quick off your line to deal with any through balls

Dawson/Ivanovic: Part of a settled and unchanged back four, AC may employ one CF with 1 or maybe 2 roaming AM's. Dawson to take the CF and Ivanovic to be watchful of those AM's. Our defensive midfielders will help tracking them. Deep defensive line to combat pace is essential, and what has gave us results in the past.

Adriano/Lichtsteiner: A 50/50 game of attacking and defending for you. I want to match AC's wingers for speed and bully them off the ball. A deep defensive line will combat their pace and give them no room to employ speed. Then, as I don't value the AC wingers defensive capabilities, I want you ready to overlap the wingers and get crosses in.

Rodwell Sit DM for you today, allowing Khedira and Vidal to go box-to-box. Track the AM's and support our CB's. If one of our FB's go forward, then cover the space this leaves. Off load the ball to Khedira or Vidal for them to pile forward.

Khedira/Vidal: Two of the best box-to-box midfielders in the business. I want you to dominate the midfield. Our wingers will stay wide to stretch AC in the middle. I think that you can dominate AC's usual DCM pairing of Gonalons and Toulalan. Get forward as a unit, and when without the ball, defend with Rodwell as a unit. Take the ball off a weak midfield, power forward and give Nene or Dempsey the killer pass out wide, while you carry on the runs into the box for the crosses. Especially important for Khedira as he is known for his heading ability and no-one will be tracking him.

Nene/Dempsey: Use the width of the pitch to highlight our powerful midfield. Take the FB on and get crosses galore in. Key target is Vidal and Khedira who will be running in, and Cardozo who will be ghosting in from the centre. Dempsey to go inside if Nene has the ball, and get into the box unmarked, for more aeriel ability.

Cardozo: Welcome to the club. As is par for the course in the last few games, AC will try and man mark you. Counter act this by moving towards the centre circle and dragging the CB with you. This will create a gap between each CB that can be exploited when our box-to-boxers come in. Then get ready for crosses from the flanks.

Tactics if drawing/losing after 65mins

Agbonlahor FOR Rodwell. Go 4-4-2 with Vidal and Khedira being a strong CDM unit in the middle. Agbonlahor to sit behind Cardozo and to exploit the space that is left when Cardozo drags the CB out. Dempsey and Nene to come inside more and pepper the GK with shots.

Tactics if winning after 70mins

Agbonlahor FOR Cardozo. Same formation, but Khedira and Vidal sit as CDM more. Dominate the midfield to give AC no options and see the game out. Agbonlahor is there for more pace to take on the tiring CB's after a long ball upfield.

Bilbao Baggins v Straight Edge Utd

Injury: Neven Subotic & Thiago Motta
Captain: Esteban Cambiasso

De Gea
Abate---Hummels--Garay---Cole
Cambiasso---Kroos
Cazorla---Gotze---Ayew
Cisse

Subs:Ramsey, Alves, Coates, VDW, Coutinho, Ronaldinho, Dos

Team talk

I want to play a quick tempo game that utilises our strengths, intelligent and clinical control up the pitch, with the play being about possession looking to unlock the opposition.

Hummels & Garay: Garay to do the main man marking role on their most forward striker and Hummels to combat any marauding AM threats or wingers that have broke free.

Cambiasso: Play a role in front of the defence today as the extra man and contain any movement looking to strike through the centre. Push the ball wide for our wingers to then counter.

Kroos: Look to link up play with fellow German Gotze in front of you, neat and clinical control probing and patient.

Gotze: Playmaker for the team, come deep to assist Cambiasso when required and then look to spread the ball intelligently to men in space.

Ayew and Cazorla: Both wing players are gifted in being able to create opportunites from nothing, I need that today, I want creation and control, look for the target man upfront with pin point crosses.

Cisse: Hang on the shoulder of the last man and look to break clear of the offside trap onto through balls from either side or over the top.
Subs
If losing/drawing at 65m: bring on Dos for Garay, use the extra man upfront to continue to push forward.
if winning at 80m: Replace Ayew with Coates and shore up the defence for the last 10 mins.

Set pieces
When crossing into the box look to target Garay, protect De Gea on their set pieces.

TREBLE'S REVENGE VS Viva City

-----------------------Ahamada-------------------------
----------------Sakho-------------Rami-----------------
De Silvestri--------------------------------------Fuchs
-------------------------------------------------------
-------------------Tiote------Cabaye-------------------
-------Moses-------------------------Nolito------------
--------------------------Sturridge--------------------
-------------------Pazzini-----------------------------

BENCH
Baumann
Perch
Faraoni
Strootman
Großkreutz
De Bruyne
Miccoli

TEAM TALK
We drew our first game to get our first point of the season, we now have something to build on. We want to win this game today and we have a lot of quality and pace going forward which we want to exploit as their defense lacks a bit of pace. Again, we want to be disciplined and patient.

TACTICS
- Cabaye and Tiote have proved they are a great partnership at Newcastle. Cabaye should play in a box to box role with Tiote sitting a little deeper and breaking up the play.
- When we have the ball we want to be patient and try to draw their players out of position with steady passing. Long balls over the top are an option if they play a high line as we have players blessed with pace.

DEFENSE
- We want to keep a flat back four, instead of getting drawn out of position chasing players.
- In front of that four we can have a more of a free form structure where we can close down their midfield and stop them creating chances. Pirlo is their key player in the midfield, if we can keep the pressure on him when he has the ball they should struggle to create.
- Overall our defense is strong so where necessary we should be physical and try to outmuscle some of their attackers who are relatively weak. All of our defenders are six footers so we have the necessary height. They should also get forward at set pieces.

ATTACK
- Moses and Nolito both have pace and should use that to run at the full backs. Sturridge at times should move out wide with Nolito and double up on Azpilacueta who will want to get forward so there will be a space left behind
- They often press heavily so we want to run in from deep and draw their defense out of position, our players have plenty of pace going forward.
- On occasions we should try to surprise them with counter attacks at breakneck speed to speed up the tempo of the game. We have the players to run at them.

SET PIECES
Left Corner - Moses
Right Corner - Nolito
Free Kicks - Cabaye/Sturridge
Penalties - Cabaye

SUBSTITUTIONS
If winning bring on Strootman and Großkreutz for Sturridge and Nolito to bolster our midfield and see out the game.
If drawing bring on Großkreutz for Cabaye who should try to drive forward. Miccoli should come on late on to try to get a late winner.
If losing bring on Miccoli and Strootman for Tiote and Nolito, move Sturridge wide and Strootman can provide more going forward. Miccoli is a prolific goalscorer and can nick a late goal.

Week 10: Real Ale Sociedad v Straight-Edge United

Injuries
Arturo Vidal
Kevin Strootman

Captain: Sakho
Corners: Nene
Freekicks: Cardozo

Formation:

----------------------------------------------Given-------------------------------------------------
Lichtsteiner----------------Ivanovic-----------Cahill-------------Sakho------------------------Adriano
---------------Demspey----------------------Khedira--------------------Nene------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------Lamela---------------------------------------
-------------------------------------Cardozo---------------------------------------------------------

Subs: Boruc, Riise, Agbonlahor, Sow

Team Talk: The last match of the season, and the one that could give us the title. Straight Edge are a good side, with one important attacking outlet....Eriksen. We will stop him from dictating play, and hit Straight Edge on the counter. Cahill to take care of Erikson and a solid defensive partnership of Ivanovic and Sakho to take care of the usual lone striker.

Given: Once again, playing the deep line to target Straight Edge's pace on the flanks. Be quick off your line and distribute to Khedira quickly.

Lichtsteiner/Adriano: I want you to keep the Straight edged wingers quiet. Show them the outside and cut out all space. They are not very defensive minded, so overlap Dempsey and Nene and break hard on the counter. Be sure to track back ready for the next Straight Edge attack.

Ivanovic/Sakho Two solid centrebacks, I want you to take their lone striker out of the game. He can be bustled off the ball easily and we will hold a deep line to combat pace. Sakho to mark and Ivanovic to clean up and make the pass forward.

Cahill: I want you to play slightly more forward than your CB partners and man-mark Eriksen. Without him pulling the strings, the attacking threat of Straight Edge will disappear. Stay close to him at all times, get the ball off him and play the simple pass to Khedira to start our attacks.

Khedira: Box-to-box again today. You will help out our defenders for any Straight Edge midfielders that break. Intercept the ball and then break hard. The Straight Edge team lacks pace in their defensive players and I want to combat this. Pile forward, and overload the ball to Dempsey and Nene and then hold back for a pass if they need an outlet.

Dempsey/Nene: I want you both to come inside from the flanks and pile on the counter. Nene's pace will be key against an inferior RB. Dempsey to ghost in from the right as you have done in the past, and get into the box ready for Nene's crosses or through balls.

Lamela/Cardozo: Cardozo will probably be man marked, so the key man here is Lamela in the hole between defensive midfielders and centre backs. This is where he can do the most damage. When attacking, Lamela to be the central playing in a three pronged attack with Dempsey and Nene. Cardozo to make himself a nuisance in the penalty area and cause panic for Straight Edged centrebacks.

Subs if WINNING after 70mins

Agbonlahor FOR Cardozo. Play 5-4-1 with Lamela dropping in midfield. See the game out and look for Agbonlahor's pace against tiring CB's. Agbonlahor to run at them and cause havoc

Subs if LOSING after 70mins

Agbonlahor FOR Cahill. Play a compact 4-4-2, with Agbonlahor partnering Cardozo. Look for Nene and Dempsey who will go out to the wings more and provide crosses. Khedira to get into the box unmarked and use his excellent heading ability.

AC ALSOAM v Cunning Canaries

Team:
4. Jeremy Toulalan
5. Holger Badstuber
6. Jerome Boateng
7. Jefferson Farfan
9. Roberto Soldado
11. Lisandro Lopez
12. Daniel Van Buyten
13. Bernd Leno
17. David Alaba
22. Christian Maggio
25. Ronaldinho

Subs: 1. Samir Handanovic, 3. Pablo Armero, 8. Maxime Gonalons, 14. Nicolas Otamendi, 16. Martin Montoya, 20. John Guidetti, 24. Dries Mertens

Leno

Boateng - Van Buyten - Badstuber

Maggio - Toulalan - Ronaldinho - Alaba

Farfan - Soldado - Lopez

Manager's note: Ok. Last game of the season, and we must win and score a few goals in the process if we're going to have any chance of winning the league. We've gone 3-4-3 but the midfield 4 must remain disciplined to ensure we don't get caught on the counter attack. I expect 3-5-2 from Olly, so our front 3 could create havoc by running inside the full backs. Our midfield four needs to be solid, and our back three needs to stick to the gameplan and be assisted by the DM's when the likes of Gerrard and Arteta join the front men.

GK, Bernd Leno needs to be his best, command his area, watch for long shots and be clear in your communications.

CB's, Bayern Munich back three of Boateng, Van Buyten and Badstuber. With Boateng and Badstuber's countryman in goal I expect the four of you to know each other's games inside out to ensure we make zero errors. Van Buyten will be more of a sweeper while Boateng and Badstuber are the ones man marking the likes of Ba and Oxlade-Chamberlain.

RM, Maggio is used to this formation from Napoli, he will get forward when we're in possession and track back when out of possession, likely against Adam Johnson. LM, Alaba is more of an attacking LB, so this position is ideal for him. Track back when out of possession, use your pace to keep Oxlade-Chamberlain's impact to a minimum, but don't be afraid to assist the front three.

CM's, Toulalan and Ronaldinho, I expect Toulalan to be the midfielder who holds as the DM, and Ronaldinho to be the creative midfielder. Ronaldinho can join in with the front men, make late runs into the box to either be unmarked or to create space for the players ahead of you. When out of possession, both men become DM's to limit the effect of Gerrard.

Front three, Farfan on the right, Lopez on the left and Soldado down the middle, I expect you to create havoc. Soldado is the main CF, but Farfan and Lopez aren't afraid to switch wings, cut in, both men can shoot and score as well as create chances for Soldado.

Sub (45 mins) - Handanovic on, Leno off. Giving each GK a half each to prove their worth. Handanovic knows what to do and what's expected of him.

Subs (70 mins)
If winning: Gonalons and Montoya on; Farfan and Maggio off. We switch to a more defensive 3-4-1-2, Montoya as RWB, Alaba as LWB, Gonalons alongside Toulalan, Ronaldinho pushes forward behind the front two of Lopez and Soldado.

If drawing: Mertens and Otamendi on; Farfan and Van Buyten off. Like for like, but both younger and fresher players coming on. Mertens has a real eye for goal and could be the difference.

If losing: Mertens and Guidetti on, Maggio and Alaba off. Switch to 3-1-3-3; Back three, Toulalan holding, Farfan - Ronaldinho - Mertens then Guidetti - Soldado - Lopez.

Go Ahead Pigeons v Viva City
Formation (4-3-3)

Injuries: James Rodriguez
Diego Godin

Starting 11:
GK:Wojicech Sczezny
DR: Micah Richards
DC: Musacchio
DC: Alex
DL: Jose Enrique
MC: Scott Parker
MLC: Frank Lampard ©
MRC: Ganso
RW: Bryan Ruiz
LW: M Dembele
ST: Pavel Pogrebnyak

Subs: Asenjo, Antonini, Zapata, Canales, Drogba, Lennon, Barrios.

Wojicech Sczezny – Don’t take any risks in coming off your line today, the defence will be sitting right in front of you so trust them. Quickly distribute the ball to the defenders feet so we can build from the back.

Micah Richards and Jose Enrique- We’ve kept the opposition out well over the past two games so keep focused. Once again one of you go forward and the other stays back. Don’t take too many risks as I want the back 4 to stay as solid as possible.

Musacchio and Alex: This is yet again a new partnership. Just communicate with one another and stay strong. Don’t take risks and we wont concede. I want a deep defensive line, as there isn’t much pace but tons of strength between you two.

Scotty Parker: I want you to do what you did in the past few games, sit in front of the defence and control that area. Clean up if the others make a mess. I don’t want them playing in front of our defence.

Franky Lampard and Ganso: Same again from you two. You both have the ability to control the midfield, drop deep when they’re attacking. Once we get the ball move it quickly to try and play to feet.

Bryan Ruiz and Dembele and Pogrebnyak: You’ve know each other well and have had a good partnership in the past so I want to build on that. Play the ball to Pogs feet and build around him. Dembele and Ruiz use your presence on the ball as well to help allow others to get around you. Use that skill to lure defenders away.

If winning at 60 minutes: bring on Lennon for Ganso

If losing at half time: Change to a 4-2-3-1 with the midfield changing to the following:
DMC: Scott Parker
DMC: Frank Lampard ©
AMR: Lennon (sub for Ganso)
AMC: Dembele
AML: Ruiz
ST: Pogrebnyak

If still losing at 60 minutes bring on Drogba for dembele, changed to a 4-4-2 with Drog and Pog upfront and play more direct.

Team talk :
Last game before the end of the season, so show the other teams what they're in for, for next season. Move the ball quickly and to feet. Believe in yourselves we have the talent, just need the confidence and faith in one another. Good luck lads!!

Bilbao Baggins v Trebles Revenge

Injury: Thiago Motta, Neven Subotic
Captain: Esteban Cambiasso

De Gea
Abate---Hummels--Garay---Cole
Cambiasso---Kroos
Cazorla---Gotze---Ayew
Demba Cisse

Subs: Coutinho, Ramsey, Fuchs, Alves, Dost, Xhaka, Piazon,

Team talk
This is it, the final league game of the season and we are still in with a shot of the title. Concentrate on our game and not what is going on elsewhere, all you can do is go out there and win our game which will in itself crank up the pressure on our title rival. We can still win this on goal difference so I want a strong performance from everyman, lets get the win on the board and the goals flowing.

De Gea: I'm condfident you will be up to the task of keeping Pazzini and Sturridge at bay , be bold be loud be dominant. Instruct the back four, strong on crosses and make yourself big on shots.

Abate & Cole: Ensure you remember the fundamental role of defending first, block crosses and push the wingers wide. Make sure spaces don’t appear between you and the centrebacks. If you have the ball then look to get forward and act as a spare winger looking to get crosses into the box.

Hummels & Garay: Garay to take on the role of enforcer at the back and physically impose yourself upon Pazzini early on, keep yourself between the striker and the goal. Hummels to double up if they have the lone striker, otherwise to nullift the threat of marauding AMs and wingers coming through channels.

Cambiasso & Motta: Cambiasso to physically impose himself early into the game and nullify the flow of their game, Motta to take up the role of a box to box and pick the ball up deep and come forward, link up play with Gotze . Both look to cover gaps on the wings when a fullback go forward.

Cazorla & Ayew: Come in as much as possible today but still mix your game up so they are not second guessing you. When opposing winger has the ball then come into the box and act as a second striker. Don’t forget defensive duties and help our fullbacks from being doubled up upon.

Gotze: Given the space to play in the hole and to use his pace and creativeness to pull apart the centre backs and thread balls through or crack one from a distance. Track back when under pressure to assist in midfield.

Cisse: Come deep today and pick the ball up early, feel free to go out to the wings to assist down the flanks and take a potshot from range. Use your explosive speed to surprise the centrebacks into rash tackles immediately as you get in a position to win a penalty, we don’t care how the goals come today, we just need them.

Subs
If losing/drawing at 70m: bring on Xhaka & Dost for Cambiasso and Garay, go 3-5-2 and go all out for the win, in the last 5 minutes at set pieces throw everyman forward if needed. Dost to use his 6ft 5in height to be targeted.
if winning at 80m: Replace Schurrle with Alex and shore up the defence for the last 10 mins.

Set pieces
Hummels and Garay to all go into the box to use their height to create an aerial threat.
Cambiasso and Kroos to protect De Gea on defensive set pieces.
