Ex Chicago Bear & New York Giant Safety Dave Duerson killed himself Thursday by a self inflicted gun shot to the chest, he left a note asking that his brain be donated for medical research. NFL players are at high risk for CTE a degenerative desease.
Duerson 50 had an eleven year career mostly with the Bears' a four time pro bowl selection winning Superbowls with the Bears and Giants he ended his career with the Cardinals
