Hope I'm wrong about the final one but don't think I will be.

Reckon QPR and Spurs might win but apart from that id be following you Guv. United to beat Chelsea fairly comfortably i'd say. been in cracking form and most of the team had a rest mid week

Not sure about QPR. They've made some good signings esp SWP and Barton. They might do OK this season.

Liverpool not being in Europe could really benefit them this season. I still don't think they have enough quality overall to challenge Utd and City but they'll be pushing for top 4 I imagine.

We've had some good results and each performance is getting better but we're light years behind Utd and City atm. I expect us to be the main contender to Manchester but Sunday is too early for us this season.

You have your attacking full backs to provide width, you have your ball playing defender, your no-nonsense defender, your anchor man and your deep lying playmaker, three creative freelance attackers, and you want a striker to convert chances, and that's all he's needed for. Just sticking the ball in the back of the net.
Who would you choose?
I'm genuinely not sure. Rooney is definitely the best all round striker in the world, he can do so many things, but he prefers to drop deep. You'd want someone on the last man, and I don't know who I'd pick as the best 'out and out' striker in the world at the moment.

I just wanted to know who everyone thought was the best 'on the last man' striker out there

Mine would be what I said, maybe with Rooney up front, maybe Eto'o, I'm not sure.

I know I'm missing Xaviesta, but I'm trying to keep some team balance in there. Masch (IMO) is the best anchorman in the world, he does a no nonsense ball winning job, whereas Alonso can defend (albeit not as well) and pick out a pass, and I think the two would compliment each other very well.
And Ronaldo, Özil and Messi, all floating round going wherever and doing whatever would destroy any defence.
And Rooney, because I'm a United fan, or Eto'o, because he's really really quick.

Am the only 1 that doesn't actually rate Ozil Highly for a man who plays as AM he doesnt score enough im not saying he's bad but if i wanted an AM id take sniejder, Gerrard and a few others over him.

Far too attacking Jimbo! Essien and Alonso would compliment eachother beautifully I think.

For me Maicon and the Barca centre backs are so over-rated
Went for balance, otherwise Sneijder and Villa would all be in with a shout.

Messi's been a striker pretty much for the past season, and Iniesta often plays on the wing for Spain and sometimes there for Barca... it's difficult
