NASRI SPOKE THE TRUTH!! Empty NASRI SPOKE THE TRUTH!!

Post by Sugar Floyd Louis Thu 25 Aug 2011, 8:49 pm

I don't know about City fans being more passionate than Arsenal fans but lets be real guys, (and I've been Emirates before) - Arsenal fans aren't necessarily up there when it comes to being passionate and generating an atmosphere.

Nasri is definitely right in that aspect. The compliments one can have for Arsenal fans is their loyalty and patience.

But Arsenal fans shouldn't be upset, maybe at the fact that it's coming from an ex player, but not at the statement itself. All knowledgeable premeriship fans know Arsenal fans aren't the most passionate. Surprisingly (for large stadiums), the atmosphere at Emirates, and Old Trafford isn't no where near teams with a stadium that has a quarter of their capacity. I can even remember Arsenal being 2-0 down to Chelsea at home and by the 60th minute people were leaving.

Thoughts???? does anyone actually disagree with Nasri?

He went because City offered him more money and a great big signing on fee.

I don't blame him, anyone would do the same.

I'm not so sure that Arsenal fans are patient either, as the amount of Arsenal players who have been booed by the home crowd in the past 6 years is quite high. I think it's true what he said, though I don't for one minute believe that's why he left, but he was probably very annoyed that instead of the fans asking him to stay they booed him in one of his last games.

If Nasri had left Arsenal for the chance to win competitions and not for the money it wouldn't have been so hard to sort his contract.

Fact is Arsenal don't look to be going anywhere except possibly below what they achieved last season whereas City look as though they are seriously going places and are offering more money, for me it would have been a no brainer...
