England vs India 4th ODI Debate

So the 4th ODI is about to be underway.
1 change for England, Steven Finn comes in for Jade Dernbach. India going in with the same xi that lost a close match last time around.
Finn for Dernbach, I think is a good move, this being Finn's home ground, he should know the conditions pretty well. And he's a real wicket taker, although he may go for a few. Dernbach has been bowling too many slower ones these days, and the Indians seem to have decoded him to some extend.

India going in with PK, Munaf and RP Singh. Can't understand the logic of it. When will Varun Aaron get a game?
England winning the toss and bowling, on a track that should offer some early help to the pacers.

really feel kp should have been made to come back but i suppose flower knows he cannot lose this series now and really doesn't care and wants to look at other players.

England have been a bit unlucky today, first real mishit goes straight to a fielder whereas India got away with quite a few of them early on.

they got away with tons but you need some luck sometimes and they haven't had huge amounts and have had a miserable summer. this won't help much but it'll be better than nothing.

Think PK should bowl most of his overs in this spel itself. May be 1 over could be held back for the newish ball to be taken after 34 overs.

Afternoon lads, just woke up after getting up at silly oclock to watch the rugby. How has the play been today?
I see Bopara is in a position now which will show if he has the ability to see England into a winning position from a prety difficult place.

Was it so bad CF? I am enjoying this innings by Bopara, as you know i am one of his biggest critics but credit where its due.

RP Singh may have got a couple of early wickets, but he has been terrible otherwise, going for more than 7 pir over, even after wickets have fallen.

Its Bopara who injected some life to England's innings after they struggled a bit at 61-3. He has taken the attack to Ashwin and Jadeja both, and made full use of the terrible offerings from RP.

There is still alot of work to do but these two dont want to let the RRR get to high.

Have a feeling that Ashwin is bowling a touch too quick here. Needs to slow down a bit and flight the ball. In other words, no Harbhajanisk nonsense!.

I think that they have a great chance MSP, i kind of want them to win as well. It would be horrible if they went home without winning anything

Would have preferred us to have lost no more than 2 wickets at this stage (25 overs) but we're going well and should still get there with overs and wickets to spare ....

Amazing summer for England, nothing can detract from what they have achieved.

billy it was awful but India had got in and the big hitting pair of MSD and Raina just hammered the English bowling and showed why they are the best in the world in this form.

If Bopara stays in there and continues the way he is trebbs, England still have a chance.

Its been a brilliant summer trebbs, one of the best summers, in fact, best 12 months of English cricket that i can remember.

Billy indeed. We won't begrudge India going home with something after an awful demoralising tour. They've looked up today though and the crowd never lose faith , gotta credit them for that.

Really after the tests none of it mattered. This short stuff is just a bit of fun. It should be before the tests, totally pointless afterwards.. "after the lord mayors show" is the feeling I get.

england can't even lose this series and the ducks might be the only winners on Friday.

They were showing signs of fight last match trebbs so it was on the cards. I certainly wont begrudge India a win here.

89 of 66, not at all impossible. Ashwin has already bowled out, and PK just have the 1 over. RP and Munaf are left with lots of overs, and Ravi Bopara is playing a terrific hand out there.

this Stokes lad.. i don't know much about him but he seems to have struggled. Maybe give Taylor a crack next match? or stick with him. I'm told he's quality so maybe he just needs to settle.

The game is almost on the balance now, but England's batting depth, and India's poor bowling unit makes England a slight favorit.

I'm not quite sure I agree with Sanjay here. I don't think the weather has changed the game in England's favour at all, if anything they were the team in the ascendency before the break so I feel India are the most likely to benefit.
