News coming in that England legend Dominic Cork has retired from Cricket, good luck to him in the future. Brilliant Cricketer and brilliant man played the game with his heart. Shame he didn't play for another season or two.

Agreed mate.Corky even commentated in the 2010 IPL IIRC.

Its more that he is just another recently retired pro, who fill their commentary stints with inane "insider" jokes. Or make the same repetitive jibes about their own or their commendatory partners inability to hit a six like they just seen or to bowl in the high 80mphs.

It’s the predictability of it all that is tiresome.
