Leeds v Newcastle

From a neutral's point of view, this wasn't a bad match to watch. But lets face it, Leeds are going down. Falcons played with real passion yesterday and did not look like a team hovering on the precipice of relegation.

Newcastle looked pretty good with ball in hand, and should maybe have kicked a little less (though Gopperth did kick well out of hand it must be said). Had they kept possession a bit more, given the poor Leeds defense, a bonus point may not have been out of the question. Still, they got the all important W, and deprived Leeds of anything, so great result for them.

Regarding Leeds, hard to see them staying up: their defense is rubbish, and for all their endeavours in attack they made far too many errors to hope to be able to take anything from the game.

If Leeds are so bad as you make out and had a poor defence how come Leeds scored 3 tries, not bad a for a poor attacking team, yet Leeds you say will be releagated as Newcastle had the passion.

I must your reasonings are poor, there is a lot more to games than passion .

Iwould also say Leeds can take a number of things from the game namely not too give up when you are 20-7 down 3 mins into injury time in the 1st half, and that keep your cool and take the points on offer.
