On 30 May 1976 the Italian Open Men's Doubles final was halted for bad light at 2 sets all.
The 5th and deciding set was played on 15 September 1976.

:hatoff: Julius. Very interesting research.

Gottfried/Ramirez were a very good doubles team.

Gottfried is also the owner of a record 10 finals lost in 1977.
