* Shawn Michaels and Triple H reunited as DX for an off-camera appearance and teased a future WrestleMania for Cowboys Stadium.

SmackDown:

* Teddy Long opened this week’s show with the RAW General Manager, John Laurinaitis. They announced a 41-man battle royal for tonight’s show. The winner will get a title shot of any title they choose, similar to Money in the Bank.

* Randy Orton won a 41-man battle royal to earn a shot at any title. Miz and Orton were the final two men standing. Orton RKO'd The Miz from the apron and they both fell at the same time, the refs declared Orton the winner. Orton chose to face Mark Henry for the World Heavyweight Championship.

* Beth Phoenix defeated Kelly Kelly.

* Black Sin Cara Black attacked Blue Sin Cara Blue on the stage and removed his mask.

* Black Sin Cara (wearing Blue Sin Cara's mask) defeated Justin Gabriel.

* WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio defeated Sheamus. Christian interfered and helped Del Rio get the win. After the match, Christian beat down Sheamus.

* Kofi Kingston and Zack Ryder defeated Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler.

* Randy Orton defeated Mark Henry by disqualification. Cody Rhodes interfered and took out Orton. Big Show came out for the save. Orton hit an RKO on Rhodes.

So they've basically condensed two of the most prestigious PPVs into one episode of SD as Orton wins a 41 man battle royal *cough* royal rumble *cough* and then goes on to face Henry the very same episode *cough* wrestlemania main event *cough*.

SD need to stop using battle royals as a way of determining the No. 1 contender to the WHC. - Have a Fatal Fourway or a Gauntlet match or something if you can't think of a storyline with some fringe upper mid carders. Would it have hurt to put Christian and Sheamus back into contention for the No 1 spot even if Orton was always the favourite?

Why was one half of the tag champs teaming with a guy who isn't his partner

I really don't understand the point of a 41 man battle royal...it just seems stupid after the 40 man Royal Rumble. Does that mean that next years Royal Rumble is going to be a 50 man Royal Rumble?!

Next years should definitely be 30, 40 was an abomination

wheres the need for the jump from swagger, bourne's already unbalanced, it could well of been alot worse than it was

I dont think Bourne landed properly either. And the way his legs are looks like they could have taken some damage.

It was reported he had suffered from what is known as a stinger but was back working house shows in Mexico so it doesn't look anything serious and will more than likely be involved in this weeks RAW.

Quite possibly Gaff, I was just reading about it on several dirtsheets and they were all reporting the same information on Bourne.

I don't understand why it would be a work though? Especially after seeing how badly Bourne landed from it.

I think if it's a work the only logical reason would be for it to build heat for a feud with Ziggler and Dolph, which for me would only be an arc anyway to get to the real story, Ziggler/Swagger

I've got no idea though, was strange that they put him on TV last night
