Liam Walsh Vs Paul Appleby

Dont know if anyone caught this fight but it was a cracker.

Walsh getting of the canvas from a shot i didnt expect him to be able to take,and going on to win the fight showed heart and desire from the man.

Great back and forth action and a very good start for box nation.

anyone see this fight? and who do you think is next for both fighters?

It was a great fight and I think they are trying to make a rematch for early next year or maybe December at a push.

Appleby needs to win the rematch because if he doesn't it's a long way back for a guy who looked a good talent a while back. As for Walsh if he wins he needs to improve his defence if he is going to move on to Euro level or better.

Great fight to watch and i would agree Walsh does need to tighten up his defence if he is to go up a level, the higher up he goes the more he will get punished for leaving gaps and openings for his oppenent to hit. i think with that tightened up he could move up to euro level and go far from there.

I don't think it warrants a rematch either but it was very good to watch so I'm not complaining.
